Interior Design PRO Reviews

I had this for a few years and taught myself a lot and planned my entire house. But when adding furniture I was very disappointed that the pieces are very outdated. The table sets all have cloths. The furniture is not located in half the furniture stores. The cabinets and appliances are not updated to the the past 25 years. It’s like 1980 & 1990’s time zone. The bedroom furniture lacks as well. I cancelled my subscription after all this time because I finished the layout and needed to work on the inside. After all the time I spent in this program it’s very disheartening to have to use another one for updates and start all over.

I seriously need help with InteriorDesignPRO. I can't find out where to resize doors and windows. It's nice that you give me all of the dimensions on the wall to either side, but I can only move the item, rather than change it. I am working on top of a photo of my house plan. In the layout view, when I select a room, I can see the underlying fixed items I'm trying to duplicate, like cabinets. If the interior view could be transparent and show the underlying photo, it would be much easier to work with.

The game is okay. I like the 3-D mode but there are a few possible changes.

First of all, the controls are real hard for beginners. I just downloaded InteriorDesignPRO and the controls are soooo hard.

Second is the furniture. I’m happy everything is free, and the graphics are okay but you can’t move furniture through the doors. This is bad because if I want to put furniture in a small room, it generates in the room next to it. Then I have to delete a room or something just to put furniture in. I am also not fond of the fact that even when you lock doors they stay open.

Finally I wish that you can explore outside. Even though there’s outside furniture, I can’t circle the house freely. If I try, I get stuck at a corner and basically stay there.

Please change the game. It’s really hard and I really want a design game and this is the best one I found. I can’t find a one with better reviews so please fix.

I love InteriorDesignPRO because all of the furniture is unlocked and it does not make you pay for anything at all. And it does not have any sound so I can listen to music while I am playing the game. You can also modify the color and the size of any object. When you leave the game you don't have to press a save button or anything, so when you get back to the game it resumes right where you left off.

But when I am playing the game I wish that InteriorDesignPRO had a blankets to put on a couch or a bed. And that InteriorDesignPRO had barn doors for bathrooms or dinning rooms. I also think that there should be pet items, like beds and crates or dog bowls. There should also be more kid toys to decorate a bedroom or playroom.

Overall interior design is a great app to play if you are anything like me, and like to create and design houses and bedrooms.😊👍

This is a great app. There are frustrations tho.
Oddly, I can add vases or flowers, but no water heaters. A number of normal objects are not available: sliding patio doors, pocket doors, pivot doors, screen doors, security doors.
I am not able to put a closet in the middle of a room, it wants to attach to a wall. I can’t overlap rooms like if there is a shared bathroom I want to jut into two different rooms.
Sadly, I can’t seem to make a round room or curved hallway around it, which is what i really wanted to work with since the plan calls for a round center atrium.
I’ve worked around some of these by using similar shapes or using objects as walls in a single large room, or using dozens of small rooms then removing walls to rep larger rooms, but it takes much longer to build a simple plan.
Would love to have the ability to add a wall or room divider.

InteriorDesignPRO is easy to learn, amazingly robust with choices for design and control over just about everything. I have not yet tried to 3d import a model, but I’m looking forward to that feature.

So far, the only items I need are variable ceiling heights (vaulted ceilings change everything!), and I would love if it integrated with additional models for furniture. That said, I added a platform couch and am crushed there is no reference for how to find it irl!

I have had some memory related bugginess, but usually a restart fixes it. I notice if I use it for hours (which I do, I have a problem), the memory issues magnify. I am using a basic iPad so honestly it’s likely the hardware as much as any software bugs.

I need tutorials! I have yet to successfully get stairs attached in any way that looks normal. And I need a default option to turn off “snap to object”. But these are user issues and preferences, not complaints.

Really, I have spent more time on InteriorDesignPRO than any game. Ever.

I really like InteriorDesignPRO but the Ui is very inconsistent. For instance most of the time we are dealing with specific sizes, so why put resize handles on minuscule items that prevents us from repositioning the item normally? A nudge feature is sorely needed. Why once you finish dropping an item does the entire way you interact with that item then change? It is confusing at best and often it is easier to remove the item and add it back.

A walkthrough feature which shows your design from every angle as if you were walking through it would be handy. Why can I add small sinks to an island? Why is there no corner cabinet? Why does the backsplash have to run over the entire wall? Why can’t I adjust my room size by typing it in?

I use the free version to give clients a better visual of their space and how it can be changed.

Positives
It is completely free, and I can send layouts to clients by email, so that is a wonderful plus. I can add my own pictures and make my own wall colors.

Negatives
You can't get accurate sizing on walls and items.
The items are very limited. I would pay for an app that offered considerable more options in all categories. The version you can pay for currently does not offer nearly enough for me to buy it.
Materials are very limited and unrealistic looking. I have better luck finding an item online, taking a snapshot of it, then uploading that and using it as a material.
If I duplicate an item, then delete one, it will want to delete all items.
I can't move too many items too close to each other. The items just won't line up properly. It might be a fraction off, but it's enough to make a difference.

Overall, it's free and I can find nothing that compares. I hope they make a paid for version with a much more extensive library and fixes the little glitches.

I absolutely love InteriorDesignPRO!! I only have it for personal use but it really helps me get my ideas out of my head and into something tangible. No other app I’ve come across offers nearly as much as this one does. Honestly, there are only a couple of super minor things that could be added to make this 100% perfect: if I could have my wish, I’d wish for curved walls, adjustable ceiling heights (by room instead of universally across the whole floor) and more common items like garbage/recyle bins, trash or laundry chutes, floating shelves and shelving units... things like that. But even without those, this is still hands-down the best app of its kind out there.

This game is amazing. I can make my own homes however I want, I can modify every little thing, and I can make the rooms big or small. They give you lots of options with the main furniture things, like clutches, tables, and beds. But I just wish they offered more little decorative things like books and toothbrushes. The graphics are good, but it would be awesome if they could add little cute things like fairy lights and makeup stands/vanity’s as well as tapestry’s. That would would make it cuter and more realistic. But other than that, I love this game so much, I play it every day and have a lot of different plans because it is so fun!

It”s great! I play tap glance and wanted to see if this had more options. It does it some ways, and in others it has less. It’s the same exact game but a few different options. Why not just combine options and condense into one game? And while you’re at it, maybe you can add some more options that aren’t for household appliances, maybe more for businesses. Like salon items, constructions projects, day care... add things like scissors, makeup, hairbrush.... oh and I’d really appreciate a tilt option rather than only a rotate option.

This is most definitely the best home layout app. I downloaded several others and they weren’t nearly as good. And the best part it’s all free! There are no bugs at all, you can listen to music while playing the game. You can change the size of things you can have multiple floors you can change color and when you leave you don’t have to press the save button! I am so lucky to come across InteriorDesignPRO I definitely recommend it. There is only one thing. In 3D walkthrough mode, can you make it go a little faster to walk please? I love this game so much.

InteriorDesignPRO is so amazing. I’m just a kid who wants to be an architect or interior designer when I grow up and InteriorDesignPRO is really fun! There are soooo many different furnitures and you don’t have to pay for any of them! I have some suggestions, though: I think it’d be cool if you could paint wood siding. Also if there were more toy options or pet things I’d love that. Also add veggies to the plant section and have grass be one of the things you can lay down- like paint or carpet. Also, for me, it’d look much less crowded and nicer if there was a close and open door feature. I totally recommend InteriorDesignPRO!!

I have finally found the perfect interior design app!! YAY! InteriorDesignPRO is SO different (in a great way) than any other design app you will find. So far for me, there have been no issues. I would highly recommend getting this. It doesn’t cost anything, and all of the items on it are also free. And, it actually saves what you’re working on. You can get addicted to this, if you are like me, on the first day.
It also has all of the design items the other apps don’t have have! I highly recommend InteriorDesignPRO! 😁😁

I've used a lot of cad / design programs and this is a good one. For free it's outstanding. It would be nice if it could have some more shapes to make it easier to build things that don't exist and some sort of annotations but that's a pretty minor issue. Nice job!

With the new update I can now control ceiling height! The new placement controls are nice as well. There is one bug, in some use cases, shapes for example, entering the size directly doesn't "stick". You have to use the arrows. Not a huge deal but perhaps it could be fixed?

I have always wanted to be an interior designer. I loved putting certain colors together, matching different textures, and picking the best layout for a house. I wanted to find an interior design app that was easy to use, that was free, and that wasn’t a game. After I found InteriorDesignPRO, I immediately fell in love with it. It was pretty much everything I was looking for.

The only thing that I wasn’t happy with was the fact that the different furniture and decor wasn’t my style.

After our house burned in a fire, we had to rebuild quickly. I can't imagine trying to make the plans without InteriorDesignPRO helping to visualize it. Of course it would be better with even more objects. But it's great that you can adjust every dimension for every object. If you're imaginative you can modify a basic kitchen counter piece into a half wall; put 2 pieces of furniture together to form one piece; or make a picture frame into an aquarium using an imported photo as material. But the additions I would like to see is roofing, ability to color trim in the rooms & a walk-through locking option so that objects can't be highlighted. This would make it easier to let other people look at your plans. All in all- this is the best planning app I found. And for FREE!

This product is increabily intuitive, enables laying out rooms, windows and objects in an easy maner.

Create the layout of one or more rooms, then go into 2D mode where you can place objects from a really nice variety of categories.

The objects can be resized, moved, rotated and even elevated with a masterful interface. For the OCD among us, you can place objects relative to the walls and size them in 1" increments.

I quickly setup a layout of my 'home theater' room using sofas, chairs, speakers, TV and TV stands in an incredibly short period of time.

As I understand it, the product "TapGlance" is an upgrade to this. I'm just getting started with it, so I can't review it now.

One note: I don't know if it's possible to import 3D models into this product. If not, it's definitely something that would make this that much more valuable.

InteriorDesignPRO is the one thing I have been looking for and I finally found. I love it so much! This game is so fun and there is nothing that costs money! I love that you don’t need to do levels to get coins and all that crap, all the furniture is completely free and you can design whatever you want. If I had any suggestions, it would be... TO MAKE MORE GAMES LIKE THIS! I mean it is just amazing and thank you so much Black Mana Studios for creating and developing this amazing game!

Hello! I am writing a review for InteriorDesignPRO because I think it needed one. There is no membership or anything like that for customization, for fancy programmers, some people buy the one in app purchase, “photo rendering”. You can change the size and color of everything! This includes interior and exterior. The instructions need you to scroll through the video a couple of times, but once you get used to it, InteriorDesignPRO is easy and relaxing. Although there are some flaws that I would like to acknowledge. InteriorDesignPRO has a pretty wide variety of items, but some things have very little, including the Kids Room tab, maybe add rocking chairs or even just a wider variety of items. Second, I am unable to make an L shaped room, for hallways or small walkthroughs, this can be important. I do not know if it is possible, but if not, please add it. Third, you walk extremely slow around the house if you are in walkthrough mode.

Some people say InteriorDesignPRO is bad and good reviews are fake, but I personally, HIGHLY recommend InteriorDesignPRO. I hope that the flaws I have spotted will be fixed in the future.
