A perfect companion for my training

I have been using this app almost daily since I started running back in January and I absolutely love the daily paces within the 5K plan. I use the app on off days to time my walks. The app syncs very well with MFP. Another great feature of this app is that I have it set up to alert my wife by email when I go out for a run, so she is able to see where I'm at in case there are any problems. I have gone all the way through the 5K training plan once, started over after a knee injury, and I'm about to finish my second time through the plan. I'm looking forward to continuing into the 10K plan...and then onto the half-marathon!

Best there is.

Runmeter is hands down the best app for monitoring your sports. Make sure you don't try this app first before trying others because you will be severally let down by the rest of the selection in the App Store. The level of adjustment, accuracy, and control over your information is second to none. It's so good in fact, that I blindly bought this app when I saw it come out. My only question is, why did I buy it? I haven't seen a single feature or benefit over the regular Runmeter app. Don't let my lack of research keep you from buying this, you won't find anything better.

No its the best app for runningWARNING NO ALERTS

All the goodies come with the upgrade!!!!! Why don’t they tell you that. Maps your run. Set it to alert you when you are half way done—my favorite just start running when the halfway alert comes on turn back. Play your music even skip songs. If you stop (to give directions, wait for a traffic light) it stops the timer and starts again when you are moving. Much better than Nike app. I apologize for my initial review of the free app below!!! WHO WOULD USE A RUNNING APP WITH NO ALERTS. HAVE TO HOLD YOUR PHONE IN YOUR HAND AND KEEP CHECKING TO SEE WHEN TO RUN AND WHEN TO WALK. WASTE OF A RUN!!!!
