Too good not to buy

FitnessPoint is everything I was looking for in an exercise tracking tool. I don’t know my muscle groups well and being able to visualize them in FitnessPoint is going to help a lot in memorizing what workouts target which areas.

I’m setting up my workouts by legs, arms, abs, etc. then you can break it down further by specific muscle groups. This is also part of my personal goal to memorize how to workout all my muscles. I’m going to build a full body workout once i have the individual areas finished.

Once you have pro they have a lot of workouts to choose from but you can still add your own and label the muscle groups without pro. It is nice since I want to do a total body workout over the course of a week.

I had to break down and buy it. For a whole year it’s pretty cheep relative to other subscriptions.

What can I say, if it doesn’t break your piggy bank this is a stellar app to invest in. I have a feeling it’s only going to get better over time so I’m happy to support their awesome product.

There isn’t currently a section on FitnessPoint for targeting the neck specifically to stretch it. Minor complaint. I’m sure there are more areas that are on their to do list and this comment makes the developer laugh because they stare at that list all the time.

Very limited logs in free version

I have to say that I loved FitnessPoint! It interfaced with iHealth and my calorie tracker perfectly. I only got to use it for a couple weeks, but loved the functionality and ability to create my own workout routines and add individual exercises. Now I’ve got to find something new to use. I was mid workout when FitnessPoint blocked me from adding any more logs of my lifts. Apparently I hit some limit. It only offers to allow me to continue if I sign up for a subscription. I refuse to pay an astronomical monthly or yearly subscription just to track my lifts. I’d rather go back to pen and paper before I do that. It’s such a shame because I really did love FitnessPoint.

App is getting worse and worse

I have the pro membership and use FitnessPoint 6 days a week. Since the more recent update it crashes constantly when my timer is set on each set. It’s getting annoying. Otherwise this is a great way to keep track.

EDIT:
1 yr into membership and it’s auto renewed.. this is fine that’s what I wanted.. but after that FitnessPoint closes me out of my account, when I try to log back in it forces me to buy another full year membership.. so I have to buy 2 yrs of membership to use it for 1 year? FitnessPoint crashes constantly, it logs you out of your account and only lets you log in if you pay for the membership again?? It’s just falling apart now. Redo your app, this is infuriating.

Highly recommend

I have been using FitnessPoint for a couple of years. I pay for the in-app membership so that I can add my own workouts. I started using it because I bought a workout program online (booty by Bret—highly recommend) and needed a place to track progress. The beauty is that if a specific exercise is not in FitnessPoint ’s database (rare) I can upload a picture and add the new exercise. I love FitnessPoint . I can track progress over time and it’s super easy to use.

This app is so helpful!

I recommend this to anyone who is wanting to start weight training. It shows exercises by organizing them into muscle groups. You can create workouts specific to your needs. I love that it shows you how to do a specific exercise and gives you a description. I would also recommend FitnessPoint to anyone who already knows what they’re doing because it’s a great tracker for your workouts! You can always add or remove exercises. Best app I’ve used for my fitness!

Fresh start

I have 3 kids and not much time or babysitters to make trips to a gym. I haven't worked out other than with equipment at school "10years ago" and am trying to get my life in order and get in shape. Without much knowledge and equipment I feel FitnessPoint gives a lot of information and a lot of tools to help set my pace and keep me informed on where on my body I am getting a good workout. So far I love FitnessPoint, and I'm close to being convinced to spend money on it.

Great app

FitnessPoint is great, it has a lot of exercises. They show you a little bit of movement of the exercise and to give you an explanation on how to do it. But the free version has a lot of them blocked out and the only way to access them is by paying a monthly subscription. I would’ve preferred to just to buy and I am straight up and not having to deal with the monthly subscription but everything looks very high that.

Love it! (But)

I love FitnessPoint so far just for the fact that it shows me some workouts mostly around dumbbells. The one think I would like added is a feature where it will auto generate a workout for you every week. Unless that is already a feature that is there.

Love if

New into the weight lifting scene. FitnessPoint has really helped me work out at home. Let’s you design your own power workout according to the areas you really want to focus on. Love that it shows you how to perform each lift properly. Best of all is the basic workouts are free not like other apps I have downloaded and ask for a monthly subscription.

Piece of garbage

I paid the one time fee for certain workouts. After about two months it wouldn’t let me keep logs of my workouts and asks me to watch videos to unlock features for a certain amount of time or I can sign up for their reoccurring monthly fee.

I contacted customer support and they gave me the run around and told me that logs of my workouts were not part of the fee that I paid. This was not made clear when initially buying the plans.

Seems pretty shady to make me pay money twice. Get another app like Nike’s which is more upfront with their plans and fees.

Not as robust as I’d like.

Has most exercises that a weightlifter might normally do. But when attempting to record my Hammer Strength Wide Chest, Decline and Incline sets, the software doesn’t list the exercises. Therefore I can’t record my numbers and compare week to week. Hammer strength weights are ok most gyms across America so I’m surprised they can’t be logged.

It would be great to be able to have an “add an exercise” option or be able to email customer service so they can add.

This App is Very Informative and Easy to Use.

I download FitnessPoint so I could get get some ideas on what exercises to do to develop a workout that will target certain muscle groups. It’s been a great help and the categories of exercises makes it very easy to use.

Responsive Customer Service

The upgrade that came out earlier this week was buggy, but I appreciate how quickly the problems were addressed, and it seems back to being a great product.

By

Great Graphics

The description and portrayal of each exercise are very well done. A negative is when purchasing add on exercise programs, the answers to questions can not be edited once entered, therefore you may end up with exercises that are above or below your level. Lastly, if you are over 60 years of age the routines will be the same designated for 40 year old men.

Tracking app

I use this as a
Workout tracking app and it does a good job of tracking, but also has some good features such as showing what the exercise is and how to do it.

By

Easy to use

I like FitnessPoint it is very easy to understand and used for the most part. I wish FitnessPoint had a (next workout) button, that would make the workout flow more. I like how you can see what muscle each workout reaches, but I feel like the diagrams went very specific. All in all I love FitnessPoint and will probably buy the full version.

By

Simple,straightforward app

Returned to FitnessPoint after working with others for several years. What I really like is the simplicity of building and tracking routines. I can vouch for the support as well. All around good app and good value IMHO.

I Love this app!

Fitness Pro has everything that I want to design workouts, track my workouts, and see my progress. I have been incredibly happy with it.

Great solid app

Great app for easily logging workouts. I imagine there’s more intense and complicated ones out there, but if you simply wanna keep track of your workouts this is FitnessPoint for you

Amazing App

Bought based on superb google reviews. THEY WERE ACCURATE. Does everything you need. Love the simulated instructions for the tons of exercises in their library. Also, like the graphic of muscle groups worked out, depending on the routine.

By

Decent app

I just want a simple app to keep track of how much weight I use on each machine in the gym. FitnessPoint is pretty decent as it lets you set up a work out from a few select matching/free weight styles on the free version. I like that when you are in a new workout FitnessPoint shows you what you did on that machine the last time.
Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the constant ads to purchase the complete version of FitnessPoint .

Love the flexibility of Fitness Point

I really love the flexibility of FitnessPoint and easy usage. I prefer the simple GIFs on muscles worked for each exercise to the videos a lot of fitness apps use. No issues so far at all with it.
