Frustrating

I signed up to be able to get into my accounts using my thumbprint. But when I go to pay a bill, I still have to put in my password. Can’t you fix it so my thumb print is good enough? Also, I called a couple weeks ago to get my ability to deposit checks through mobile banking increased because the checks I will be depositing will be greater than $6000. I was told it had to be approved and that I would know when the approval went through by checking to see if my balance increased. My balance didn’t increase and I got no phone call. I inquired again today was given an 800 number for customer service. I was on hold for 20 minutes. And now I’m still waiting for an answer from the manager of the bank. I don’t understand why it is so difficult to give your bank money. Other banks will hold the check until approved, but they always take the deposit. I don’t have these problems at Somerset, trust, but I’m trying to spread my business out. Please don’t make it more difficult than it already is.

Worst Bank

This is the worst bank if you are trying to decide if you want to with this company, please run far away! I have been with this bank for almost 15 years and it has been bought out three times by larger companies and this is by far the worst. It is not recognized by other companies, so it does not make it easy if you want to do online banking. I would have already left this thing a long time ago but I have a joint account with my husband and unfortunately he does not like change and it is hard for me to get him to make the move but we will be doing it soon because my frustration level is to the limit! The staff is not friendly when you call customer service, or in the bank itself, and are not helpful. I am not sure how you have stayed in business.

0 if I could

FNBDirect is horrendous for me to navigate, and the website wasn't any better.

i had been trying to close my account since June i believe and never got any confirmation on whether it was even actually closed or not because i still get emails reguarding the account.

the call center makes you sit there for hours while their bot tells you '1-2 minutes' for a wait time, and when i managed to finally get someone to check if it was even active still the lady hung up on me and left me with a survey bot at the end.

Frustrating and annoying to use

FNBDirect is incredibly frustrating especially when you are trying to talk to customer service through the chat feature they have. You have to wait until the person is ready and then get halfway through getting the issue resolved only for FNBDirect to completely close out and you have to start the whole process over! At first I thought I was just forgetful and would exit out but after the third time of waiting in queue writing and rewriting my issues and then suddenly having the screen close out on me I realized it’s a glitch with FNBDirect . A really annoying one.

Loan payments

FNBDirect does not tell you how much is due and when it’s due. It also has it set up as a transfer being the only way to pay. Meaning you have to have an FNB checking account to use it. I recently had another loan through Huntington and they didn’t care what I used to pay it and FNBDirect showed it as a payment not a transfer. Much easier to work with and understand. Plus I received confirmation it was paid for them. FNB doesn’t show confirmation and when it’s due next so I have to check on the regular website or hope it went so I don’t get charged a late fee. Ver unsatisfied with the process and unsatisfied on FNBDirect .

Completely Unusable App – Frustrating Experience!

I've been trying to log in to check my bank details, but FNBDirect has been down for ages with no update on when it'll be operational again. I deleted and redownloaded it, but that didn't fix the issue. Every time I click on it to open, it just takes me back to my previous screen. I have no idea what's going on with my bank account since I live in a different state where we don't even have First National Bank, and I rely solely on online banking.

This is beyond frustrating!

FNB app

Approximately a month ago the bank updated their app. Since that time I can log in and see my instant balance but when I hit the arrow to see my transactions it kicks me out and takes me to the Home Screen of my phone. Numerous phone calls to customer service and then tech center. Keep getting conflicting information, “it’s my phone, uninstall and reinstall, take it to your carrier.” Just getting the run around. I even installed FNBDirect on my daughters phone and got the same results. I called to report what happened and now they won’t return my calls. Don’t go with this bank. They don’t care.

App is just OK.

The FNB app is just OK, but I find it annoying and backwards that my credit card information is not available directly through my banks app or through my bank’s website.

Every other financial institution that I do business with makes this information available so that I can easily check my balance and make payments.

I hope that in the future FNB will update their app and website to allow their customers of easily paying on a credit card that is issued by their bank.

Some help please

FNB should do a lot better than just tell you that you have posted a transaction. You can set a limit for notifications, other bank apps let you know which transaction has transpired. FNB does nothing more than tell you that a transaction transpired which forces you to go into FNBDirect and look at the transaction. It would be so much easier if they could just tell you which transaction happened in their notification to you. If other banks do it, it must not be that hard. Come on FNB, do the work.

FNB App

The ability to deposit checks check your balances transfer monies is all great. However, sometimes you can deposit a check immediately for a fee yesterday I tried to deposit my check and do it as an immediate deposit and it would not give me the option so I was charged an overdraft fee, and it’s very unfair at times you get the ability to make your funds available right away and then the next time you can’t they just like charging fees

Unacceptable customer service

After installing today’s app update, I am unable to access my account. Not receiving codes. Had to wait through two calls, around 40 minutes, and be subjected to FNB’s endless and irrelevant prerecorded Blah Blah Blah. Was told during second call that a tech rep would contact me in 2-3 days. It’s Thursday, so I know I’ll have to wait until next week. Your company is negligent in this matter. I have chronic migraine and cannot endure your wait noise. I expect access to my app when I need it, not when it’s convenient for FNB.

Ok but…

I like the interface. But after making a deposit, FNBDirect makes it seem like the transaction is over, when in reality this isn’t the case until after you select regular or expedited deposit. This is deceptive and almost caused me to miss a very large deposit one time. I think you either need to change the flow of the process slightly or at least clarify the language so people know their deposit hasn’t cleared until they’ve completed that last step. Thx.

Does not work

No matter which device, operating system, FNBDirect opens and then force quits. I hate this bank. Plus while they support ApplePay, it takes them a week or more to add to your accounts which is extremely inconvenient and unnecessary. Hate FNBDirect, hate this bank. Wish I didn’t have to use them, but I have to so my boss can pay me.

Don’t, they’ll take your money not trustworthy

Careful this bank likes to take as much as they can anywhere they can, over the years they took thousands, just this morning over $100 dollars on a 5 dollar over draft, absolutely horrible bank gets worse every year, go to any other bank but these guys, save you the troubles.

Poorly designed app

How do you make an app that doesn’t fit on an IPhone screen. The services tab that was added covers up your login information As FNBDirect is routinely not working, wouldn’t you make sure that the website works correctly. Logging in online faults out, calling is even a higher joke. I know it’s Pennsylvania, but c’mon, they have better apps in Transylvania.

Years of great service!

I have been a customer with FNB FOR 8 years and have only good things to say. I use a lot of banking apps for my clients and the FNB App is the best I use on any given day. It is clear concise and has not needed any big updates or changes in the time I’ve been with the bank. Easy to make deposits and transfers, and check balances.

Telephone banking

This feature makes banking much simpler. I enjoy being able to transfer funds from one account to another at the touch of a finger. I also balance my checkbook daily as a guard against fraud. There is, however, one problem and it is an inconvenient one. Why does the telephone app go down midday every day?

Sign in procedure

I don’t understand why I still, at times, have to enter my password. It made me do this when using my thumbprint and now even with facial recognition. The purpose of this technology is to not need a password…something that can be hacked. This is the ONLY login I use that still wants me to enter my password at times

Great Mobile App!

The mobile app is fantastic, it works amazingly with no problems!
Many features that I love like Savvy for checking my credit score, locking my card feature, and much more. Overall, it’s a great and well-organized mobile app.

Great app!

FNBDirect has worked very well for me from the first time I logged into it til today! I’m not disappointed in the least bit whenever it comes to transferring money, or anything like that! All of my withdrawals appear immediately mostly except for gas stations and Uber, and stuff that you’d expect to take a day or two to go through! But overall FNBDirect is great!
