Audio Bible: God's Word Spoken Reviews

I love AudioBible. I use it everyday and look forward to each morning as I start my work and begin playing every book.

The only complaints I have are that any book with over 18 chapters doesn’t download all of them even though I have selected “download all” and the book of Ezekiel is really messed up.

Normally when a chapter starts being read that chapter also displays on the screen so you can follow along. Ezekiel’s first couple of chapter start out fine. But when chapter 3 starts, there are skip, in the dialogue and then suddenly chapter 4 is brought up. After about 10 seconds chapter 5 is up. The reading has gaps and holes and then up pops chapter 6.

There is no feature to reset the chapter or redownload them, so I have to move on to the next book :(

Hopefully there won’t be any issues with other longer books. I haven’t downloaded Psalms yet. I have plenty of room on my device, so space isn’t the issue.

Pleas - fix Ezekiel’s narrations!

I love AudioBible and use it daily, but it would be better if when you hit “download all” it actually did just that and downloaded all chapters. It would also be better if the chapters downloaded in order (1, 2, 3, 4 etc) instead of appearing backwards in the list. The only other thing that could make AudioBible better is if I could download the entire bible at once, or the entire New Testament at once. But other than those couple of small nuances this is a great app.

I’ve been using AudioBible for several weeks. It has a nice sounding voice reading but the sound is very tinny. There’s some kind of echoing going on. Also the normal speed is too fast but the slower speed is to slow. Would be great if they could fix these two issues because AudioBible is simple to use and straightforward. The voice reading is very nice.

Today was the first time I used the audio version and AudioBible did as I expected. I followed along in my bible as the audio played. It will be a useful tool to have while driving and to have on hand when I just need to hear the word. Thank you for AudioBible. Especially, the fact that it’s free is a plus one star.

I love AudioBible! This is my 4th time downloading it because I have listened all the way through 3 times already. It tells you what you have listened to so that is why I delete it and download it again. Wonderful!!

It’s getting harder to see to read so I am thankful and enjoying being able to listen to the Word. The problem I have is that it is buffering and saying downloading as I am listing and AudioBible . shuts down in the middle of a chapter or sometimes at the end and I have to go back to the list of books and select again and restart at the beginning of the chapter?

This is one of the best, most user friendly and the voice is excellent. Hearing the Word and reading at the same time, etches it all into your mind and spirit. I spend hours daily listening, it's an awesome app!

The narrator talks too fast. I like to read along but the narrator runs off. It is hard to read and listen at the same time.

It’s a good stress Reliever in sometimes I just love to read the word of my Lord. Sometimes it’s easier for me to listen then read to books so this is a perfect app for me.

I love AudioBible it’s perfect for busy people I can put on my headphones or pop in my ear buds And don’t have to give up my Bible study time.

Hard to review something that you haven’t even read. It was really annoying to have that keep popping up all I’m trying to download stuff

So far I like AudioBible.I have no complaints, I can lye in my bed and turn to whatever scripture I want and enjoy.

I like AudioBible reads well. I would like it to read a little more slowly other than that I would recommend it.👌👍

The ability to listen to the Bible while I drive is priceless. Thank you. I wish there were more versions but this is great.

I enjoy being read the Bible. The narrators voice is very pleasant. However he speaks way too quickly and I wish it could be slowed!

I only wish there was a way to play books continuously. All chapters of a book at once.

I love that the voice is non dramatic. Would be nice if the reading paused at periods and had a little inflection, but better than the overly dramatic readings which I find distracting.

I like it. But the only problem is on the more it should the stories

This is great to listen to anytime , if I’m on a plane or driving to work it’s great

I've greatly enjoyed AudioBible!!!! I really like being able to listen and read along at the same time and when I'm lazy and don't feel like reading I can still enjoy the word of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ !!!!!! Thanks many blessings to you for making AudioBible!!!!! Shirley
