The old version was better. You didn’t need to have all the info as Southwire would fill it in when you pressed the calculate button.
Don’t use Southwire! I work as an electrician and used Southwire for a conduit fill on a nipple between two panels. I had (4) 350 xhhw and (1) 1/0 xhhw and it came out to 56% fill for a 2 inch emt. Used a 2 inch emt for my nipple and inspector called me on it. I calculated it out via 2020 nec and sure enough it came out to 67% fill over the 60% max. Made me look stupid and wasted time. We’re trained to trust our tools but apparently you can’t this one.
Changing the conduit type erases the conduit size.
Many common conductor sizes and types are omitted such as bare solid copper and other that this app sells.
No way to retrieve a long data entry to do a different calculation with same data
Before this update Southwire had a Calculate button on it which you could leave something blank and it would calculate it for you so you wouldn’t have to look it up that’s why I gave it to stars
App isn’t bad for calculating conduit fill but the jam probability is not accurate at all
Great calculator. Only complaint is that there isn’t a way to save a particular fill calculation.
Length of conduit would be helpful
Southwire really should have an option to tell you the total number of wires per type to said type of conduit. Rather than having to plug in all the numbers manually to find the max number

Excellent app easy to use and saves you soo lots of time.
Good aplication
Southwire is so quick and easy. Gives you the option to punch in the numbers of your wire properties. For example the wire, size, insulation, AWG , and stranded or solid. It tells you the probability of a jam. All you have to do is put the numbers in. Great app. Highly recommend it.
