A great interface, but...

Again, Battlefield has a great interface and style. It feels innovative compared to other video game related apps I see! But, it is annoyingly buggy. The screen will freeze after I click on a weapon, and I can only press the bottom buttons on the screen. After repeating this several times, Battlefield will crash. If can no longer edit my dog tag to how I want either, which really bugs me since I have rightly earned these upgrades to my badge. Another issue is that when I buy new weapons, or anything, the number for how many "war bonds" I have doesn't go down unless I exit out of Battlefield , kill it, then open it again. EA/DICE need to fix this immediately, as Battlefield is very helpful and has a lot of potential. An idea for EA/DICE to add is the ability to OPEN battle packs instead of just seeing the notification. Such an improvement would be awesome.

Ich Glaube (I believe)

Hallo mein freunden, and everyone and EA, DICE, the amazing frostbite engine that powers the best experience of our games! Anyways, I am happy you guys have been bringing things together like Battlefield really well! Sure their may be some bad reviews on Battlefield, but some updates for the other champs could make the "community" a little better too! Also another thing, a recommended thing to say from a community fellow like me... You should add some background music from the this app games depending on which tab your on, on Battlefield, I understand that Battlefield can be really helpful (REALLY = in bold) but some music to keep the people using it feel like this app will never leave their side and yes of course, your side and my side as well (in a friendly way)! Anyways great work on the games that you guys have been creating, and bringing a community like us together!

Yours truly, ZARKENCRAFT (on the "Xbox1")

Great app (worth getting)

Ok, this app 1 is great in general, it's my first this app and I was already willing to by a premium pass the day I got it. Then I wondered, if there was a app like many other games had. So I looked it up, I there it was, totally free , I had heard some things about Battlefield , and heard it was good, so I got it, put my EA account info in, and bam, it gave my what's call a companion dog tag. It was so awesome. The first few things I saw was the medal I was tracking and if I tapped on it, it showed my how far though with it I was. The next page let me see all my dog tags and ones I don't have , if I didn't have it. I was able to look at the camp task I needed to do to get It. After that, I was able to make a in game patch for my self. It was so cool. The next thing was that i could see if my friends where playing the game. It's definitely worth getting

Great interface but has some bugs that need fixing

Overall I love the this app companion. It's great for those who want to see there stats more detailed but it does have its problems. As of the time I am writing this review there is a bug that prevents users from seeing their this app 4 stats. It will tell you to log in your EA account even if you have logged in your EA account. Basically meaning any users who don't play this app 1 can't even view there stats for this app 4, also they do not support this app hardline so there's that as well. I've personally spent hours searching for some way to fix this bug and there is none. Other than that problem Battlefield is great and I would rate it five stars.

4/5

I would give Battlefield a 5/5 once they add hardline stats, but until then it is great to have if your out and talking about either bf1 or bf4 and you want to compare stats with a friend. But the whole reason why i gave Battlefield 4/5 is because they have been showing the hardline coming soon for a really long time and nothing has come yet i hope it comes soon because showing off this before its anywhere near coming is really a tease and a way to make people not keep Battlefield. For the future when you advertise something coming soon make sure its soon not months or years later because that gets people mad and not want to have Battlefield anymore.

Parts unequal

The this app app allows a player to see all the various items they’ve earned ingame and make changes to their load outs. The changes made in app seem to reflect almost immediately in game, a very cool innovation. However, there appear to be differences from game to game in Battlefield . Where in the BF4 side of Battlefield you can see the changes in damage, rate of fire, range, etc. when you consider switching weapons, this feature does not exist in the BF1 side of Battlefield . This is like changing out weapons solely for cosmetic reasons: you can’t actually see the differences between what you’re carrying now and the weapon you’re wanting to switch to. Fix this please!

Ok...

First off, EA you made a not pay-to-win game. Second I love this app one it’s great but the companion.. not so much. Half the time it deletes my load outs so I only have one. Like for scout I have a ‘all or nothing’ load out which is blinging flairs, K-bullets and the martini Henry. And i also have a smart sniper hit with the Russian sniper with a ten times scope, sniper shield, trench periscope and a trip wire bomb. But I can’t have them both, I create them both in the game but as soon as I open up Battlefield the second one gets deleted. Even from my computer. Battlefield also gives no description for the variants of the guns. I only use Battlefield to look at my service assignments and check the progress of me unlocking guns. I also once set up my vehicles with it.

Good App but...

Battlefield is good, the layout, the style and how it works. However, the previous version before it got updated was better. All I can do on this is view my profile and my stats but it doesn't let me look to see if I have battlepacks and other equipment. Even when I go to the settings to open the Battlelog app in the browser, it doesn't let me scroll through the page and I have to use my laptop. It would be better if they added the way Battlefield ran previously to make the companion better

Just Missing a Few Things

Battlefield itself is slick, and I’ve never had any problems opening it or flipping between the various pages. I only play this app 1 at this point, so I don’t know how the this app 4 part of Battlefield is. I would love to see the Codex Entries you’ve unlocked in the game in Battlefield , just for some light reading when you have some free time. Also, a small addition that would be nice is the ability to open and buy Battlepacks from Battlefield . Otherwise, it’s a decent app that allows you to look at some cool stats, see friends online, and edit your load outs.

New to the series but love the game!

(I have my original review post below) I have rerated my review do to my recent dealings with the companion. I got this companion for the news and to update my load outs. I also loved reading the codex.
With this app V, news as stoped, and all news history has been erased. I can’t access this app V in the companion. I would love if the developers would update the news, and add this app V.
If you guys can do that for me, I would really appreciate it. And I will restore my original rating. Thank you.

This is a great companion app and allows me to see news and videos. I like Battlefield a lot, and there a lot of helpful things in it, developers please take note, there are some current bugs where I am not getting any news very often and no new videos have updated since the Doom49ers platoon. Please fix! I also agree with the background music, that would be sweet, good thinking souleater! And lastly, thank you developers for all your hard work and back breaking hours that as made this companion and game great!
Your loyal solider,
Tetchra Fett rated five stars.

Battlefield companion app

Battlefield is the most unreliable, useless, and the worst thing EA/DICE has ever made. The battlelog (July 26, 2015) app was more reliable, useful, and it actually worked. Ever since Battlefield came out, I’ve been sending reports of the same bugs that haven’t been fixed and still hasn’t been fixed. There is even a bug that says “You need to login to see this information” when you are already logged in. I even signed out, deleted, used different accounts, and used completely different devices and still doesn’t work. Any basic function(s) of Battlefield are not accessible and or useable. At this point, just update Battlelog so it’s compatible for IOS 12 and delete this disgusting abomination of an app off AppStore.

Stupid

I got this for the pure reason of being able to customize my load out for this app 4 cause for some stupid reason you can’t customize a load out without being in game. So I log in with my Xbox account cause I’m not going through the process of making a new password for EA. And everything is fine I can customize a this app 1 load out if I so pleased. But I want this app 4 load out. After finally finding the page for this app 4 they hit me with the “YoU mUsT sIgN In WItH aN EA aCCoUNt” so then what’s the point of signing in with my Xbox account if I have to reset my EA password anyway? Don’t bother with this crap they just want you to download their stupid app.

Great App, needs to fix a few things

I love using this to see how my friends are progressing in the game, checking my load out and making changes and reading news about the game on the fly. The issues I am having are when you change something in load out and then get home to play & the changes didn't take. Additionally, I have unlocked and equipped things via Battlefield (white horse for example) and in-game they are not available. If they could allow real-time sync between Battlefield & the game, it would be a five star review from me.

Love the app, but....

Battlefield really is great, I work quite a bit, and it’s nice to be able to play with my classes and view my stats away from home. It also make managing a platoon very easy. I was hoping they would’ve updated Battlefield to support this app 5 upon its release, but here I am still waiting? What’s up with that? I will say my total kills, my overall kdr, and my percentage for games won and lost is appearing as though it’s counting from this app 5, but I have yet to find any information for when they will add it to Battlefield . Please get t updated soon!

More features should be added

I am a huge this app 1 fan. EA and Dice decided to get their heads in the game and do something treyarch and activision would have never thought to do: make a WWI shooting game while call of duty "advanced" further with infinite warfare. this app 1 is a stunning game with unbelievable graphics, but the companion app has some problems, like why can't we open battlepacks on the go, or maybe we accidentally added a skin to our inventory and want to scrap it. These are minor details but they would make me happy to use the companion app again.
