provides you the exact location of the Sun and the Moon, as well as the upcoming
twilight, anytime and anywhere around the world.

While being offline, it is still possible to view current location's data while location service is enabled.
To select the location, you can use in-app search tool or manually input the latitude/longitude value, and adjust date/time/time zone if needed.
You may switch back to chart view if you need location information and update the screen.
Not only your current location or predefined cities, the app also gives you the information from any locations worldwide.
However, Internet connection is still required to view, update, and location search.
Subscriptions may be managed by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase or by clicking the “Purchase / Manage Subscription.
If you are using Apple Watch, your current location is automatically detected.
It provides you the exact location of the Sun and the Moon, as well as the upcoming twilight, anytime and anywhere around the world.
Press ‘Map’ button on the toolbar and move the map to anywhere around the world to find the detailed Sun/Moon information.
Thanks to its beautiful time-chart style and interactive map feature, the app is user-friendly despite riches of information.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- Landscape photography recommendations such as sunset photography plan, milky way photography (avoidance of bright night), etc.
Device subscriptions are available in these plan and will renew automatically each month, six months or year, unless cancelled.
Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to Account Settings after purchase.

I LOVED the sun map app; it used to work fine. When I launched it yesterday a pop up appeared, with what looks like the Thai language, with two blue buttons. I can’t read Thai, so I have no idea what it said or what the two buttons were. There was no option to change the language and no way I could see to avoid the pop up and get the all to work without clicking on one of the two buttons.
I deleted SunMap and reinstalled from SunMap Store, but the same pop up remained. I deleted-reinstalled again today but same thing. Let me know when it’s fixed, I’d love to have SunMap again!

This is a great free alternative to the Photographers Ephemeris but I have noticed a couple of times where the moonrise and moon set time is completely inaccurate. I use it for photography but don’t feel like I can always trust it so I have another moon app to compare the times to. But for a free app it generally does well.

Just downloaded this and I really like it. I like the fact that you can go to any location on the planet, as well as choose the date.
Didn't give it five stars for a few reasons. One, too new to me to judge completely. Two, no city search feature. Three, I'm not certain it adjusts for daylight savings time. It put me in the Mountain time zone (UTC-7), but I'm not. I'm in Pacific (UTC - 8). Unless that was how it adjusted since it got the times right. If so, that's a little odd.
But this will come in handy as a point of inquiry for my 6th grade earth science class!

Does not work at all on Apple Watch. Displayed only 5 of 8 sun times (rise/set/twilight), then hasn't changed in 3 days. Brain dead useless app for Apple Watch.

Gives sunrise, sunset and twilight times for the current location or a location chosen from a map. You can use the current date, or any date you choose. Twilight times are civil, nautical and astronomical twilight. The time zone can also be specified.
The default location is in the center of the USA, you need to tap the locate tab to find your current location times. This is a complete set of sunrise - sunset information, well done.

This is simple, easy to use and exactly what I was looking for. Gives nautical and civilian, sunrise and sunset times. I wish there was a paid version to remove ads otherwise perfect.

Thank you for your efforts, but SunMap was better when has the name of SunClock, and if you can add some of the current features to the previous ones in your coming update, it will be awesome App. One of the previous excellent features was when we press over any city on the map it will show Sunrise and with second press it will show Sunset over that point. Can you regain this this features together with Moonrise and Moonset, to add also NEW MOON DATE and TIME.

In your latest update Jun 17, 2017 version 3.5 SunMap crashed from the beginning in iPhone 5 & iPad, and never open, so I was unable to check if you add NEW MOON DATE and TIME in my previous review.

When you open app, a dialogue box appears in non-English language not recognized by me, with two selection buttons in same language. Why not English? What is the notification in the box? What are the two choices? Unable to use app because of box.
