SunCalcnet is really helpful for determining sun exposure and shadows.
I live in PA near Ohio--- on taking my device to the east coast shore, I found that the time of sunrise was shifted one hour later actual local sunrise time.
Based upon this error, I missed the opportunity to photograph sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. ,

I’ve just downloaded SunCalcnet and it seems to have exactly what I’ve been looking for. You can see where and when the sun is duration of sunshine and temperature.
Combine this with no information being collected and I think I’m going to really like this. I will be updating this review in about a month or so.
If I may suggest some additional display could the developer include azimuth and information on the moon. Good job.

Great layout and I like the daylight duration. Can you add the sun attitude in real time? You already have the position relative to the ground. Just need to add a number in a small text box.

I found this gem 3 years ago before heading out to Acadia National Park. I wanted to know the locations for sunrise and sunset so I can plan my locations. Been using it ever since.

On my iMac I can go to any location in the world and see what time and direction of the sun at specific time and date.

Now I have an iphone, I take SunCalcnet wherever I go. It shows the times of sunrise and sunset, the direction, and the golden hour. Very useful.

This is a wonderful example of a great iOS utility. Anyone who is interested in knowing the sun's progression across their property for farming/planting, solar energy, even just curious folks would love SunCalcnet!

SunCalcnet is one of the best things to happen to the iPhone. Great use of the compass. Perfect for finding sunrises and sunsets when you're in unfamiliar places.

I really enjoy SunCalcnet and like the new added weather feature. However, as a metric user, I would very much appreciate an option to switch from imperial units to metric ones. Thank you and I wish you the best with the continuation of SunCalcnet.

I saw their website about a year ago checking on where the sun would set when I was looking to purchase a house. Really cool stuff. Working in the landscape industry I use SunCalcnet frequently to determine what time the sun will hit a certain area or how long the sun will be on a planted bed, etc. Great for that alone. You can hit the Nav arrow that will pinpoint your current location or enter any address too. Hopefully the iPad app comes soon. Thanks!

SunCalcnet is very useful and is actively being developed. I’d like to see features such as azimuth and angle of the sun, azimuth and angle of the pole star, in relation to your current location or the choice to choose a time, date location, etc. It would be awesome to be able to include a solar clock / sundial design calc. Twilight times would be helpful. To the extreme, a solar / lunar app that included info and calculators for designing instruments would be absolutely worth paying for, like analemma, dials, transits and other instruments of yore.

Know direction of sunrise and sunset , just input your address or allow app for locatikn access.

It's now shaded and unavailable; and the only way that I've found to have the map up pointing North is to close and restart SunCalcnet .

SunCalcnet has a clean interface and works flawlessly. I’m a big fan of sun calc in the web and I am delighted to see how well made SunCalcnet is. I’m amazed that it calculates the sun set and rise to the second. I hope one day they will add the sun arc and solar noon.

I used SunCalcnet to make purchasing decision on my new house. Where will the sun be in the morning and evening? Which rooms will get hot and when? Also extremely useful for deciding on window treatments. Now I am using it to select plants based on sun exposure.

Call me a nerd, but I use SunCalcnet all the time before hopping on a Southwest Airlines flight. Why? Because I can figure out which side of the plane to sit on without sun in my eyes! It's also a neat way to visualize how the motion of the sun varies with the changing of the seasons. All in all, a great and unique app. Keep up the good work!
