Morpholio – Design Portfolio Reviews

The idea is stellar and the initiative is welcomed, but Morpholio just doesn't hack it in terms of *usability*.
Navigation throughout gives me a headache and generally I am lost within the maze of Morpholio , not knowing which way is up or down and back or home. Real problem for me because when I use an app on my phone, I'm usually at work or church or some place where I need to sneak a peak quickly, get what I need and get out. this app does not offer you that luxury.
Display - I wish that a portfolio application would offer a better way of viewing work quickly. Tumblr does this great with a full size photo of the work in classic scroll-down browse-this-stuff format. I just feel like the display ends up being clutter and overwhelming and makes me a bit uninterested in the thumbnail images.
Not sure why the Pin-Up and Crit sections are two sections at all. In fact, I'd rather there be no 'sections' and instead, just offer me the categories I am interested in quickly so I don't have to navigation anymore.
Anyway, I'm sure it will get there in time and I look forward to it.

But once you get used to how it works, it is a beautiful creative tool. Make lookbook pages that turned out beautifully! Would be 5 stars with a bit more intuitive interface.

I've been searching for good portfolio apps and have tried many. This is by far one of the best on Morpholio Store and definitely the best looking by far. It's about time someone did an incredible portfolio app for designers. The pinup feature is great for seeing everyone else's work and the EyeTime function is just incredible. I check EyeTime out every day to see which images are best. Lastly Morpholio comes with a web presence and storage of your images for you for FREE. I can access them anywhere. Highly recommended. For designers I also recommend this app Trace and Board to work with the portfolio app.

I have found Morpholio very useful. It is a great way to share my work with friends, peers, and the rest of the world. The crit and pin up spaces are unique and have provided me with a platform to communicate with friends who have turned now into collaborators. This is a great way for designers to be able to visually display their ideas and receive feedback from people with critical views. By developing ideas from analog methods of working, this app has transitioned design presentation and communication into the digital age.

I downloaded Morpholio . There is no manual. When you email support, the automated reply points you toward tutorial videos that do not exist at the supplied link and instead re-refer back to the support email address.

Morpholio itself is beautiful--inasmuch as I can access it--but inscrutable, which is another way to express that its interface is intentionally unfathomable and badly designed. I have not seen a more hideous and mysterious UI philosophy apparently proudly swimming upstream against the most fundamental best practices of user interface design over the years of IOS.

Simply: avoid this mess at all costs. It will just destroy chunks of your time--and you can't get that time back.

The upgrade provides awesome capability to go beyond just portfolio sharing. Love that it's reach expands into other creative fields and the visuals are gorgeous for sharing. I'll definitely be using the printing function and layouts frequently. Genius app for any creative type!!

I've tested over 7 recommended portfolio apps and this one is the cleanest, most functional and by far the coolest. My favorite feature is pinup where you save your work with everyone to get Eyetime feedback.
This is absolutely beautiful! Nicely done this app.

I’m trying to get my portfolio together for school, but whenever I add a photo and the details, It crashes (sometimes right after I upload it. It should be saved by then), and I would have to start all over and there is no copy and paste option. It’s an easy to use app. I just wish this problem was fixed.

this app is a great handy app for portfolio. this app is providing the platform in this fast changing time where people mostly read and check the design & architectural work on their mobile. Thank you.

This is a great and easy way to put your work out there and also be inspired by others. The more people that join in the better! Morpholio has a lot of potential and in some areas it can be improved.

The overall navigation is a bit confusing. I think it needs a main menu or "home page" of some sort. Sometimes people give up if it is not intuitive right off the bat.

Other than that I think this is a great tool for designers and creators of all sorts! Defiantly worth the download!

This could be a big shift in how we iterate our design through this platform~! Almost a direct line to all your brain trust to get a quick feedback of your design.

I can't even open Morpholio and I have to delete Morpholio . Even under my general settings, under apps installed; this was one of several of the apps I've got downloaded onto my phone that says to delete unless Morpholio developers decide to update and upgrade it to make it compatible with iOS 11. So please do this developers or delete Morpholio . This is so frustrating.

Beautiful and very useful for my portfolio and sharing images. Makes showing work easy and interesting. love it and especially pinup.

I've tried all of them and this is my favorite. Pinup can share your work with everyone and anyone. And... I can draw over all my work at meetings. So helpful!!! Video is needed ..

App hasn’t been updated in over a year and features of making images public for potential employers or prospects is not supported. It’s incredibly slow and clunky. Not at all the expectation I perceived of Morpholio after reading your online advertising. Your basically better off using Apple stock photo app and creating your own albums..

of all the ones I've tried this is the best looking portfolio app to present my work. one fix would be to add video. love the eye time function and printables.

this app cost me nothing, and I still feel ripped off. Crashes constantly. It is minimalistic to the point of confusion. Spent hours trying to load photos, and it constantly crashed and got hung up on the uploads. Crashed on my iPhone as well as iPad. Morpholio isn't ready for prime time. I'd like my two hours back trying to make it work.

Amazing app to share my work via phone! Would recommend it to any creatives out there!

This is by far one of the best portfolio apps I have ever seen.
The work looks beautiful, adding a project is so easy and the idea of sharing my work is brilliantly executed.
Facebook , twitter and email.
Adding Pinterest would be great.
I use Morpholio for all my presentations and work sessions.

I'm excited for Morpholio, as it's very user-friendly, and potentially a great tool for us creatives. Only frustrating downside is the frequent crashes when uploading. Fix that and you got yer 5 stars.
