iCollect Toy Cars Reviews

I spent the pandemic time off putting in my Hot Wheels collection. It was cool with all the pictures, info, etc. Had a couple thousand cars in this. Finally had time to update newer purchases this year but only 55 cars are still showing. So like 99% of my work is gone. Naturally I won’t be using iCollectToyCars anymore - I am very sad. It’s really too bad - it was a great idea for an app and I loved using it.

This one really gets you, they start off smooth and iCollectToyCars flows with no warnings, but as you try to put in your 16th toy car (mind you, this is a boring process due to the over complication of iCollectToyCars ) you are met with the most gut wrenching pop up on the planet, trying to rob you of your hard earned money, for something I could be keeping track of on a simple sheet of paper. The developers idea is that people have already put in the effort to get their 15 cars on iCollectToyCars, so they might as well just pay the OUTLANDISH 30 dollars to keep track of their literal toys, but I’d rather defecate in my hands and clap than fall give this guy a red penny.

Not an easy app to operate in my opinion! And the search bar needs help! Half of the cars I type in I can never find! Plus they just have descriptions! I want to see a picture of the car in the search list!!! Not click on the description, wait to see the car, realize it's not the right on and click back and start all over again! I thought it would have a list of current cars and past years all categorized, but at last you have to search for every thing individually!!! Ain't nobody got time for that!!!

Let me start of by saying I gave iCollectToyCars a chance. I really did. I wanted it to be everything I had in mind for an app to sort my diecast collection (I use a google sheet currently) but it just fell short. iCollectToyCars is simply over complicated and there needs to be an interface that’s easier to understand. I was willing to look past this, though, and give iCollectToyCars another chance. That was until I didn’t use it for a day... then the emails came. Wonderful Ethan from Sort It sent me 17 - yes seventeen! - emails in the span of about a minute. They all came in at once and filled up my inbox with spam. iCollectToyCars has potential, but until it’s easier to use and I don’t get bombarded with emails, I will keep my collection sorted on my spreadsheet!

Poor user interface. This is not an app for creating a large database to keep track of your cars. One example of its poor UX: When you scan the barcodes on the car’s package, it pulls up literally the entire fleet made by Hot Wheels or Matchbox, and there’s no “find on page” option or anything like that. So you are scrolling forever, to catalogue a car, and I just finally gave up. If I wanted to enter all the info manually I’d just make a spreadsheet.

The hunt for a good app to track my collection shall continue I guess.

If there was a way to search by car name as well as the barcode that would be great! Barcodes can pull up 100 or more cars and you have to scroll forever to find what you are looking for.

Super awsome app really love being able to sort my cars but the info on here is pretty bad. Anyone is aloud to type or make whatever they want and there is so many duplicates uploads and really bad uploads iCollectToyCars does nothing it seems to sort and keep cars giving accurate info it’s iCollectToyCars is made by the users and it’s shows because it’s a mess. Really wish iCollectToyCars was better but will continue to use in hopes that it does.

Couldn’t find this car on any of the red line guides online. Was looking for info on it after I found one still in the box with the collector’s button. iCollectToyCars found it in seconds.

Only thing maybe if there could be a way to alphabetize the items when searching for new cars that’d be nice.

This has been the best way to keep track of my hotwheels, although I wish there was a value tracker like the Funko app, adding cars is super fast, easy, and intuitive

Let me start off by saying ty for creating such a wonderful app amazing that I didn’t know about this sooner. I look forward to using iCollectToyCars on a daily basis. I just hope I can continue to use this for a good amount of time .

I absolutely love using the iCollect Toy Car app to manage my diecast collection! It's such a brilliant idea and has made organizing my toy cars incredibly easy. The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it a breeze to add new cars and keep track of what I have.

One of the features I appreciate the most is the ability to scan barcodes to add cars to my collection. While this feature is handy, I did encounter a minor inconvenience where the barcode scanner sometimes struggled to find the right car in my collection. However, this is a small hiccup in an otherwise fantastic app.

Overall, iCollect Toy Car has been a game-changer for me in managing my toy car inventory. I highly recommend it to any diecast collector looking for a convenient way to organize their collection.

I kept buying cars that I already had because I couldn’t remember if I had them already so iCollectToyCars has been great because I can easily look at what’s in my collection already!

Love iCollectToyCars..I have a bunch of hot wheels and I love to keep them organized and tracked, so having iCollectToyCars helps me make sure I don’t have duplicate, so others can have the chance to find the ones they need. Very helpful thank you

I updated iCollectToyCars and was forced to make a diffrent account to use after the update. I had 996 models stored then as it was loading them back in, it said there where a few errors with some cars and only 325 are showing. iCollectToyCars was great until the update. Trash update and now lots of time wasted.

I am a novice at collecting Hot Wheels cars. I have a small collection but it is growing and I need a way to track it so I do not buy dupes. I read some of the reviews about iCollectToyCars and at first, I was hesitant to take the plunge however I'm glad I got both feet wet. iCollectToyCars is not simple but it is also not rocket science if you have a car collection get iCollectToyCars and use this tool to catalog what you got. It is worth $5.99!

I don’t know what everyone is complaining about here with the one star reviews but I’ve had absolutely no problems whatsoever with cataloging and customizing the specific information I want for my personal collection. This is fantastic and my girl is happy because now I can actually box up and preserve my collection for my son and not have to have crap scattered everywhere 🤣🤣🤣 plus I’ll know exactly what I have with one tap of my phone screen

I was told about iCollectToyCars from my sister. So I thought I’d try it out. I have so many cars in my collection I wanted a way to keep track of them. iCollectToyCars is great for that as I can find any car I have put on iCollectToyCars ! It took a little time to figure it out but pretty easy. Still learning how to do stuff but worth the $5.99. The only thing I don’t like about it is if you type a car in and it doesn’t pull up a previous car listed you have to enter all the info about it.

Great app for beginners to the diecast car hobby such as myself. Easy to scan in barcodes for products but the search can be funky. Would also love a more wiki style catalog of all the cars and series for those who collect visually (if that makes sense lol). Great app tho and highly recommended!!
