So I have to watch blazing bright white subtitles on my HDR screen if I wish to watch a movie with original English voice?! I don't care about the subtitles language I just to want watch the movie in original language without any subtitles obscuring the view. For some odd reason Кинопоиск provides only option to watch Russian translation without subtitles but English version explicitly mentions that I must watch with Russian subtitles.

I’m new to Кинопоиск , but my first impression is poor. No dark mode, no English menus / subtitles (only Russian), disorganized user experience.

How could it be that the developers are “working on dark mode” for more than 7 months?

Not bad application. The major disadvantage is that it does not support site notifications and messaging. So you cannot get news about your films with app. The only way to do it is to use web site.

I read in Russian so I was able to take a good look. The interface is easy, everything works seemlessly well.
I would really like to see a part where movies that play in foreign languages are listed by theater. I always try to watch originals in their language, well at least Hollywood ones and I am sure thousands of expatriates in Moscow feel the same way. Please, add this as an option? Thank you.

I love Кинопоиск especially the part where you type with English letters and it automatically pulls up a Russian title

I have been using Кинопоиск for more than two years. It is just awesome. Comfortable to use and read reviews on. I also keep a track of my watched movies via Кинопоиск. Simply cool. Also would be nice to have a functionality of submitting movies reviews directly from Кинопоиск !
