I got the legendary gladiator medal and did not see a single person with a holy fairy, even with all the hackers. In other words, no one has a holy rune because you can't get one! It should be a 1/2 chance to get a darkness or holy rune over the others but it's 1/5,000,000,000 which isn't even fair! Darkness runes are nerfed and you can really only get reg defense at lower levels than 30. I've literally tried for weeks for ONE DEF DARKNESS OR HOLY RUNE! U CANT GET ANYMORE! Havent even gotten a dark extreme def. rune. So to sum it up, frost runes are terrible because they can still attack, can't get def or extreme in this. Just normal and attack rune traits and terrible for training. Then there's fire runes. Extremely weak at any level, terrible for training. It's not even cool that the most worst runes are the easiest to get. Reason being for me saying this is i get stunned and statuses every hit which is kinda really annoying. A lot of others have this same problem, everyone with the runes. Havent even gotten to hard mode and am STILL LEVEL 50 TRAINING FOR A DECENT RUNE! With all the previous updates on here that were great, and you now only updating this app 5, it's gotten easier to find bugs and notice how annoying they are. My first priority is to request that you balance the amount of runes of each attribute, including the ability to get holy runes. Fix this bug please!

I loved this app 1-3. This one not so much. The fact that Gamevil's earlier games only with on older platforms and it just becomes absolutely terrible. I used this as a time killer when I was bored but didn't have enough time to get really absorbed in the game.

The battle mechanics are terrible. For example, Destinia compensated fairly well when a gunner want lined up perfectly with their target. This one seems to require a perfect shot. Destinia and this app 1 both allowed one to easily initiate a dash. This is integral to my fighting style when in choose range combat. It is difficult to initiate a dash even outside if combat in this app 4.

The skill sets aren't anything special either. Just the opposite in fact. The perfect shot requirement makes the totem/turret almost useless. The Madge's mana cost to mana regeneration ratio is way out of whack. This is exaberated by the general ineffectiveness of the spells.

The entire crafting/combining system is overcomplicated. A good rpg does not both require an anvil and charge you every time you combine things. And one that charges you resources other than the iris being combined should not have such a high failure rate.

Trying to enter the arena crashes the game every time. I can't adjust the position of any of the buttons. This makes play awkward especially on the quick slots.

this app 4 is an okay game. The combos are cool and the combat system. However, the game is tedious and grindy. Not to mention, the shop is WAY overpriced. I come back from a dungeon with 10k coins and can only buy 23 mid potions. Those don't last long. Not to mention that the enemy gold drops are terrible. I get about ~20 gold per enemy and use a potion about every 2 enemies. The game is a bit grindy, and origins of life are a bit confusing. I used mine up at the beginning, thinking i could buy more with Gold. But i have to pay for them. Also, the bosses seem cool, but it's usually just hit and run or else you die instantly or have half your health drained. Also, I don't like not being able to reset my skill tree and attributes. The skill descriptions are a bit vague, and to see what it does, you have to deal with that skill point gone forever. No one will read this, but I thought I'd put it out there. GAMEVIL, Please bring back this app 1-3!

I think ZENONIA4 is a fantastic game for iPhone, but it has serious issues with regards to the gameplay. For starters, the game does not support tilting to change the view angle. Also, some classes (e.g. the Blader and Druide) seem to crash the game when visiting a particular area as part of the story. Finally, I would like to address the fact that crucial QOL features are locked behind a substantial paywall. Players should not have to pay for essential features such as item creation on-demand and automatically picking up items. Other than that, the gameplay and story are incredibly solid for a mobile title and I would still recommend this game to everyone who loves RPGs. Please, Gamevil - if you're reading this - update this classic RPG with support for iOS 14.4 or higher!

I came upon this Game while looking for a simple RPG like Maplestory which was removed from ZENONIA Store. It's a pretty decent game but the thing is that items are ridiculously expensive. One of the beginning quests in Adonis town is to buy a health potion that costs 900 gold. However after the class the reward is only about 170 gold, which is ridiculous, as it means you lose 730 gold. Even the average potion costs about 100 gold, and there is a recharge time for potions and skills, which is even more ridiculous. This might be to account for the fact that the controls are minuscule. It's quite hard to press the button you want; I usually tap about 3-5 times for the little ones, and I'm always turning in the wrong directions. There is also a pitiful lack of monster drops; I bankrupt myself trying to buy a few potions, and when I go hunt monsters they give me an average of about 10 gold, maybe, which means it's going to take a long time to save up for just a single potion. I just started playing last night, and I've already noticed all of these annoyances.

I like this game so far. I just started playing yesterday. I give it 4 stars because the amount of gold you get for doing some quests compared to how much things cost seems to be unbalanced. The enemies are pretty tough as well. This game just needs more balancing is all. Over all I really like the ’open world free to walk around’ aspect. The story line is interesting and sometimes comedic. Definitely an ok game for a mobile device. :) I give it an 👍

EDIT: So, I just came across a bug that apparently has been an issue since mid to late 2017... cold as ice quest, enter the snowy/ice area then game crashes. This is an early stage too. I’m changing my rating from 4 stars to 3 :( please fix this. I’m a new player and I’ve spent money on the game to support it. Please put it to good use and fix these issues.

I started playing this and fell in love. It’s just the kind of game I was looking for, where there isn’t auto play so you actually give effort to do things, and with an interesting storyline that keeps you motivated.
However, on ios version 11, once you get to the tundra for “Chael’s Test,” the game repeatedly crashes. So, I am stuck and unable to progress. I googled this issue and it appears that many other ios uses have the same issue.
I sent an email to the email given in the game, but received a response telling me to go to the Hive site for customer service. However, you have to log in, and that can only be done with an account made with the new Com2usS games, which I do not play.
Before writing this, I was excited, because it said that the newest version had support for ios 11 “1m ago,” and was under the impression that I got lucky and the game just updated.
However, upon looking in the update section of the appstore, I found no update. I decided to check the tundra in the game to see if the game itself somehow updated, but the game itself crashed. I then realized that it said “1 month ago,” not minute, but that the bug was still there.
I hope that this will be fixed in the future, or better yet, the update does exist and just hasn’t come out in my area yet.

Hello! I’ve played your game for a really long time and I’ve got some complaints.
this app is a wonderful game, but it has some major issues that I want to address to. When I used to play this game on my iPad, it used to crash a lot. I filed a complaint, but received no reply. It so happened that a few days later, I was in the Den of Trials and my game crashed, and I wasn’t able to get my saved game back. Every time I logged in, I’d automatically get sent into the Den of Trials, unable to leave and unable to continue. I filed a complaint back then, too.
Now, I downloaded the game on my phone, and every time I enter the Den of Trials, the game crashes. I’ve had to restart the game multiple times already now. I doubt it has anything to do with the device I use since it’s compatible with the game.

This game is well-made, obviously taking a lot of time. It's well put together, is enjoyable, and gripping. Very much on par with Classic RPGs.

The inclusion of microtransactions didn't immediately deter me. It gives a daily reward of gold, which at first seemed nice, until you realize it's basically like entering cheat codes.

What really got me though, is upon dying, you have a choice to revive unpenalized for the cost of an item it gives you 5 of to start with, or revive with penalties, making some of the time you just spent grinding worthless. If you run out of these 5 items, no worries though, you can buy more! So your choices to continue playing if you die are to spend real money, or make some of your effort worthless. That does not sound like a recipe for fun to me, nor does it feel like it.

Ok, so I’ve played this game awile back and I it loved it, I some how managed to get pass the crashing at chaels test at the time and managed to finish most of the game. This game has a lot of potential and I would definitely recommend it to my friends but only if the crashing is fixed because now I’ve decided to play this game again but the game keeps crashing at chaels test so I now have to delete it.

Also, would you please not try and cover this game up by releasing a new one like the sequel to this, because I really lov this game and all it needs to be highly rated is just a simple bug fix for a main quest. So please I beg of you, fix the bug and don’t be the kind of devs who doesn’t care about their fans

I like the concept of this game, it's a really nice sit down and play RPG. I'm having issues with how some of it is set up.

(1) Enemy strength: Now, while the regular enemies that you can hunt have an appropriate attack strength, the boss enemies though are a little too overpowered. When I play a rpg on my computer on my game platform, I 'be grown to expect the bosses to be somewhat stronger than the surrounding mobs, but still in the range of manageability. The third boss I fought was 2 levels lower than my character, I was killed in three hits, even though I devote most of my stats to defense and evasion, while using an item that should have boosted my defense even more. I would give this game 5 stars if this was fixed.

(2) Giving quest items: While I am unsure if other players are having this issue, I seem to be unable to give quest items to certain NPCs, I cannot give deliver the requested item, even though I have it. Again, if this was fixed, 5 stars.

Love the game, but can’t progress due to bug
So, during quarantine, I thought I’d come back to this game, as I had played through it several times years ago, it turned out to be just as good as I remembered, until Chael sends you to the Hades Ice Fields, at which point my game keeps crashing at the first snowy area, I’ve tried to find fixes to this and I’m really disappointed that I couldn’t, so, I’m asking that you please work out this bug, I love this game, and I don’t want to see it killed because of a bug that isn’t even supposed to be there that you guys won’t fix. If you do fix it, thanks, if you don’t, I love this game anyways, and I’m trying to get some friends to try and start, and I’d love for them to have the experience of a full play through. Thanks for all the fun I have received from this game over the years.

It’s been around 7 years since I played this game and it’s still amazing. Better than most games out there, however there is a crash bug that crashes the game completely on any character in the snow region just past the first elven archer, so I didn’t get to go very far. That and the fight against Baki took me 6-7 attempts due to me completing the 15 goblin repeatable quest and caused Baki and everything else to despawn with no quest flag, it forces me to leave the stage and come back where 3 times the enemies spawn in, AND keep repawning, causing me to resort to really sad tactics like baiting and timing. These are the only problems I’ve encountered other than certain balancing. It made the game unplayable for me due to the crashing, I will be clearing the game with all four characters as soon as and if this gets fixed

I was playing the game, and I pick up a quest to go get some ice, cool. I go into the new terrain with new enemies and thought, “Sweet, something different.”
The only different thing was the fact that I can’t pass the very first goblin because the game crashes. It’s not the character file, I have tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing fixes it.
The game is really great, I have played it before with no problem. But now it lags, has various crashes and one extremely frustrating obstacle. A point where beyond I cannot experience because of the crash that remains, and hasn’t shown any promise in leaving.

Lastly, developers. Please fix the major issues to make the game at least playable, that’s a start. Once that is out of the way you can work on the finer, smaller problems with gameplay.

While the gameplay, leveling system, and really your major RPG elements are here and working nicely, I do have a few issues. For one, the entire plot in my opinion seems rushed if not a bit lazy. For others, this may not be a big deal, but I'm the sort of person who requires some kind of lore to follow in order to experience it fully. Another issue I have is the fact that as far as I know there are no ways to sell all the pointless junk you collect while slaughtering countless monsters. This really sets me back, due to the fact it's hard enough already to collect money for relatively anything. The items seem to me a bit pricey as well, and I normally wouldn't mind that if it didn't take a mini-quest to gather enough gold for a small potion. (Implying that you're broke like me.) Though overall, it's a well put together game, and if the addressed issues were fixed I probably wouldn't put this thing down.

Dear devs,
I know that this game is old. I played it so many years ago on my old tablet, and the thought of playing it again while remembering the memories of having fun made me happy beyond belief. However, there is a bug in the hades snow field that crashes the game and forces it to restart every time. I beg you, please fix this one thing... I know it’s been so many years and that the work and development on other games are prioritized, but this was a once in a lifetime gem that made my childhood exciting. Please fix the bug as soon as possible, so that we, those who wish to download and play the game, can enjoy it again.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been playing RPGs on the nintendo and play station. Most recently, I've been into turn-based RPGs like Disgaea, but I love real-time battle. Between games like Subway Surfers, Iron Man 3, and MinoMonsters, it's nice to settle down with this baby on my iTouch and experience the familiar story-driven elements the RPG genre really entranced me with, and this game really scratches the itch for me there. With it's quality sprite graphics, anime art style, and easily-grasped gameplay, you would be hard-pressed to see it differently from most console RPGs(with the exception of the exceptional Final Fantasy series). My only complaint's that I unfortunately can't afford to buy any of the in-game stuff as of yet, but I have fun and I would gladly waste the money to support the developers. I hope you guys love this as much as I do. -RK

First off I love this game, I have since I first got it years ago. I recently redownloaded it since I got a new phone and I wasn’t able to get far because it crashes. Not at random, but at specific places so I can’t progress past the main quest. It crashes in the first snow area a little to the right of the first troll archer, and the other places I found it crashing at is the first 2 den of trials attendant right as you hit start to a team run. I would really appreciate it if you looked into and fixed this, I’ll keep it downloaded and see if I can get past those areas periodically or if it updates. Thank you!

I love this game, Has all my fav. types of warriors. and the monsters are cool, but the bosses are even better! Also, Idk what Dave Menhinick was talking about when he said "THERE'S NO HOLY RUNE STONE ? You sound stupid to me, I started up as a Druide and my fairy already had a "HOLY RUNE" + I've came across multiple HOLY RUNES throughout the game;Attack,Normal,Defense,Extreme atk & Extreme def. followed by the other stones;Frost,Fire,Darkness. THAT'S NOT A BUG, YOU ARE fix your characters even if you have to START OVER. I have twice, lvl 70 fighting Shinturu as my blader, I'm a slayer now lvl 12 fairy is lvl 4 holy rune with 2 slots.

Overall Great Game can I please gets some Updates, I think that would make it even more fun and Entertaining.

I love the story and the mission theme. It gives me a reason to play the game. Other apps just let you pass time,earning coins and gems,but this game actually let's you do something worth your time. I love it. The only thing is that I battle enemies 10-17 levels below me and they still dish out much damage to me. I also wish there was chat added to the den of Trials or abyss. I want a coordinated plan and a good communication system. There should be clans or teams of people that love fighting together,not randomly. Just a suggestion. Hope update comes through,hopefully on iOS5 only because my iPod 3rd gen can't go any higher. Thank you Gamevil

For anyone trying to play this game again, you can get it to start by putting your phone in airplane mode while you select new game or continue in the main menu. Once you’re in the game you’re free to turn airplane mode off. It saves normally so there’s no worries of losing progress or anything. You’ll have to turn on airplane mode every time you open the game, but for now it works normally. I just figured this out today after the game always used to crash when selecting anything in the main menu. I don’t know if the entire game is still playable with this trick but at least it starts. To any of the developers seeing this, if at all possible we players would love the opportunity to play the game again normally! Please, release an update fixing the issues on the iOS version.
