First off there needs to be ZERO STARS!!!
App update bug fix is a joke it should be app update putting bugs!! PacificServiceCU worked great until this new update yesterday. I’ve messaged and their response was to delete Face ID and re-install it, never had too before on any update. So I did n to no prevail it still does the same. Double Face ID recognition and says no accounts are associated with this ID. THE LAST REP ON MESSAGES WAS RUDE AND GIVING ME THE BRUSH OFF!! Idk who they think they work for, if not for us members they’d have no job!!! I have screenshots of the messages.

A 20+ years banking relationship went down the drain because customer service didn’t seem to get the fact that I was telling them I’d been defrauded until I sent a 6 page letter detailing federal banking regulation E on electronic funds transfer services to them. Yes, they ultimately got my funds back to me after 20+ days, yes, they closed my accounts, gave me new account numbers, reversed NSF fees, but have been no help clearing my credit report! I will never use a state chartered credit union again unless it’s for a loan only. The NCUA only steps in if the credit union is financially unsound. The FDIC is specifically geared towards banks not credit unions!

Ever since the most recent app revamp. PacificServiceCU has gone to the crapper. It constantly locks me out on the the first attempt login when opened. “Try again later” must be the new slogan! When I call in and wait in hold for support. After 15mins. That’s what they tell me also. Or, they say, use the unlock option. And when I do. The very next time I attempt to login. I am prompted with “Try again later!”
If you plan on putting money in this bank. Don’t plan on monitoring via mobile!!!

Despite doing a full UX redesign, PacificServiceCU lacks major functionality features. It is very slow (when compared to the apps of other financial institutions), log-in is a pain. Additionally, each time I’ve tried using PacificServiceCU , it ends up just freezing on me and I have to kill PacificServiceCU , restart it and log in. It’s crazy how we’re in the 21st century, yet this credit union can not release a functional mobile app. Yeah we like the new design, but how about you guys focus on making PacificServiceCU work first!!

Sorry to say, but PacificServiceCU is the main reason why PSCU is not my primary financial institution, because if I’m using my account/online banking on a daily basis, I want it to work flawlessly.

PacificServiceCU has always been very slow and responsive but after this recent update it attempts to read my FaceID twice and doesn’t login unless I move the camera away from my face on either the first or second attempt. Allowing both attempts gives me an error message saying I entered the wrong user ID or password. This happens even after I have disabled and enabled my FaceID in the profile settings on the PCSU app.

So PacificServiceCU makes checking my balance and transferring super convenient from my phone but I face a lot of issues.

For example I will click on a different tab in PacificServiceCU , like the Transfers tab and it’ll just stay on the home page for up to ten seconds until finally loading. And then when I start typing in the amount of money to transfer the whole page just goes white and then I can’t finish transferring anything. This happens often and closing PacificServiceCU and reopening it or restarting my phone doesn’t fix it.

I’ve also had cases of purchases I’ve made in person showing up in PacificServiceCU on the same day but showing the date as the next. For example I made a purchase in a grocery store around 9pm on October 30th. Right after I checked my balance and the purchase I made showed up, but said it was made October 31st. Little things like make it difficult to keep track of purchases and validity.

I love having access to my accounts from my phone but these issues make it frustrating to use.

For the love of god, please upgrade PacificServiceCU or just go back to the old version. This may look prettier than the old one but functionality is nil. Locks up constantly and as far as I can tell added no other features. Can you tell us if this is being worked on?

I love ❤️ your Bank and glad I joined you years ago. Enjoy the easy access and the help you give when I need help on a issue when I call for it. I will remain loyal to you till I’m no longer around to do so. I’ve never given you a rating before and thought it’s high time that I do. Thank You for being there.

One of the best things that I am very grateful for is this bank. From the loan officers like Sonia and Randy to the member service team they have definitely helped me to be the best version of myself I can be, and they continue to help me, it would be my advice for you to look into this bank, beyond the shadow of doubt they are awesome

They’re always there for you when you have any issues or concerns!!!!! I highly recommend this Pacific Service Credit Union!!! Thank you all for what you do!😊

While I had always recommended Pacific Service Credit Union to family and friends, I never told them that app was archaic. Not anymore! It has gotten a complete overhaul and is great! Incredibly fast and functional. There literally now is no reason not to join PSCU, now. They're the best! ❤️

I love that I can deposit a check but not happy that I can’t see what bills are due so I can pay them. It would be nice if there was a new bill alert or at least a notification on the main page when tha app opens….like a 1,2 or 3 in red on top of the Bill Pay wording, otherwise you have to go all the way into bill pay to check everyday. Also, PacificServiceCU is very slow opening (loading) and changing from on screen to another.

Every transaction, loan and interaction with a representative with PSCU has been professional and excellent. Because I live in a different city most of my business with PSCU is done by phone. I am satisfied each time I talk to a representative. They are knowledgeable and courteous. This saves me precious time and relief.

PSCU is a great institution with a personal touch. Real people answer the phone, online question get answered quickly. With mobile deposit and the huge network of ATMs, not having many branches is really no problem.

The mobile app is user friendly. It’s forgiving in that it allows me to return funds I inadvertently transferred to the wrong account.

I enjoy features like viewing account balances without logging in as well as adding accounts from other institutions.

Every representative from counter service at branches to loan services has been extremely patient and helpful.

Used PacificServiceCU for several years & now NOTHING. I have all Apple products not to mention I live in northern CA. I cannot make a deposit & this is an account we use for my husband’s business. All we get is “sorry for the inconvenience”. Unacceptable

PacificServiceCU looks nicer than the previous, but it just sits there spinning while trying to process my login. I’ve only been able to use it once.

When PSCU decided to close the only San Francisco branch I thought it would not be a big deal since I did most of my banking using PacificServiceCU . However, since the new app does not work, I am transferring to SF Fire Credit Union. PSCU can’t seem to react quickly to problems its customers face.

Even as I’m writing this review, the characters aren’t being shown as I type them. Nearly every time I make a transfer I have to try 3 or 4 times before it goes through

Out of town on a little vacation and transferring money from one account to another online was a snap. As an elder, the easier to do these things is really appreciated.

For an app that handles people’s money, you’d think it would work flawlessly. Really needs improvement, very frustrating when app doesnt work properly.
