Bills Monitor Pro Reviews

Are you going to fix issues? Just try using yourself for paying bills and making notes. Also now notification stuck on 7! I previously wrote about two issues with upgrade. The note section is very difficult to work with on Iphone. Trying to type the keyboard most times cover the screen and you can not see what’s being typed. Today I tried to do some editing in my note section and what a nightmare. Again you have a tiny screen to work in unlike before the note section opened up and you could see ALL your notes. I tried to copy and paste and the keyboard would pop up in the way. I tried double tapping to highlight and again what a nightmare. On the second tap the keyboard popped up and whatever letter was hit typed out on the screen. I would be at the top of the screen and start typing which immediately covered the screen and I would look and it would have jumped to the bottom of the screen. This is not operator error this is upgrade issue. Please address making the note window to open on like the previous version before the upgrade. I’ll find another app if this is not fixed.

Originally BillsMonitorPro indicated $0.99 for the full use of the program and its features. I paid the $0.99 and now there is a small section inside the settings menu that indicates either I didn’t actually purchase the full app, or will be charged some form of continuous “subscription fee” (which I would never agree to with ANY app).

Also BillsMonitorPro ’s icon suggests I have 15 notifications to view, but I’ve clicked every interactive area on every screen inside BillsMonitorPro and have not found any messages, notifications, or locations to even be able to see where these notifications are being compiled or kept.

Lastly, when I open the screen there is a very well laid out “Bills Reminder” screen, but once I’ve clicked done and it goes away, there appears to be no way of getting that screen back other than closing and reopening the entire app.

So my previous app has stopped getting support so I bought this one. Over all it is good but there are some improvements needed. The first is that there's no way to have a bill be marked as paid with a $0 amount. In real life there are bills with either a zero balance or a credit balance so this is a bit of an annoyance. The other thing is the mandatory end date. There are many bills without an end date so this is truly bizarre to mandate this. I hope the developers pay attention to these reviews as I'm far from the only one complaining about these issues.

BillsMonitorPro is pestering for me for a review so here it is. Still the same issues as last time which after this long are incredibly disappointing.

I like BillsMonitorPro and despite my 2 star review, I’ll continue to use it. I’ll change the star rating if changes are made

1. I occasionally pay bills ahead of time. Because of that, I have to search for my bill on upcoming bills which is fine. Even if I pay it, it shows up in my bills again when it’s within the pre-set notification window. So, I have to close the bill again.

2. This one bugs me the most but it may not for you. BillsMonitorPro does NOT automatically add the bills coming due on to your icon badge. It’s the little red number that indicates your bills coming due. You have to open BillsMonitorPro for the badge to update. So unless you check BillsMonitorPro all of the time, the warning is useless. I want BillsMonitorPro to be able to refresh itself in the background.

I've been using BillsMonitorPro for a couple years now. It works OK, but needs a couple of functionality updates to be a 5 star app. First, it seems to need to be opened first before it will update BillsMonitorPro badge icon number. I could work off of a paper calendar if I was going to look at it everyday to see what was due, an app should update notifications without my interaction. Another glaring flaw that would be an easy fix: the reminder goes off ONCE. I have a to-do list type app that allows you to set how often the alarm reminder will go off until you either complete the task or turn off the reminder. BillsMonitorPro desperately needs an ongoing reminder of an unpaid bill beyond just BillsMonitorPro badge. Years ago, this would have been acceptable. Today, as apps have all progressed, this is unacceptable.

BillsMonitorPro does the job in listing all entered bills and its recurrences. For that, I love it. Keeps me on track and accountable. When an ad hoc payment is expected, e.g. Graduations, birthdays, vacations, I can add it to the list and keep going.
My only suggestion would to allow users to set the calendar parameters to their preference. Allow me to set bills based on my pay cycle and pay date. Whether it’s biweekly or monthly. My bills are paid monthly from the 23rd to the 23rd of the next month. It would be awesome to display my bills based on those dates instead of having separate pay cycle bills appearing in the same month.

I like BillsMonitorPro but the problem I’m having is that I have BillsMonitorPro installed on my iPhone and my iPad. However the two do not communicate so I can only enter and use on one or the other. Your backup only backs up on the that I’m using and not on the other. I thought it was a common practice to have both connected through iCloud.

I’m adding something new. I really don’t like the screen color at all. With the black screen I can’t hardly read the red circles on the calendar. Either give us a choice of different backgrounds or change the intensity of the read circle. I would prefer a choice of background colors. Thank-You

I love BillsMonitorPro! The only reason it is not a 5, is because I would like the day of the week displayed when choosing a date and I'd like to be able to add a photo snapshot of my online payments. Great features like reports on demand, charts to give me a financial picture of where my money is going, & adds the total amount of bills for that month. BillsMonitorPro is a financial eye opener & helps me stay on budget, pay timely & manage money. BillsMonitorPro keeps me on top of my bills. I know exactly how many days until the bill is due and can gauge that based on the date of my next paycheck, which is why I would like to see that day of the week feature added to the due dates, so I know what day is best to schedule my payment deadline to be timely but overall this is a great app.

Buying my first house meant a lot more bills. Before I was able to keep tabs of my monthly bills by head, but couldn't anymore. Bills Monitor has allowed me to organize all of my bills to every extent. With the option to record what bill, the type, whether it's manual or automatic draft, which card it goes to, and more -- the customization is almost endless. Being notified via push notifications make BillsMonitorPro more than I could ask for. Plus, the reports are icing on the cake.

If there is one thing I'd add, is an income option. We are able to monitor financial output, but not input. For people who work multiple jobs, being able to document those pay days would be phenomenal.

I've been using BillsMonitorPro for over six years to manage my accounts and payments. I've been extremely satisfied with it. It's very simple and straightforward, provides all the data elements needed and is easy to learn and execute to protect me from failing to pay bills on time. I've had only two "fails" during the the time I've used it. Both fails were my error and not BillsMonitorPro ... I entered planned payment information on BillsMonitorPro , got distracted on another project and failed to return and complete the actual payment transaction online.

2020 and I've been using BillsMonitorPro for many years strong! Still still love BillsMonitorPro! I've used BillsMonitorPro for a very long time! I'm not sure how I would get thru my bills each week, each month without it now. Only one thing I would change. A way to set a reminder would be nice when you get close to the end date of a bill. Ive had a few bills expire in BillsMonitorPro and I was late making the payments because there was no alert that the bill had ended. I'm never late with my bills so this was a very big deal!

I used to have a paper bill book with a calendar. If I didn’t check it for a while I was sometimes late in getting a bill paid. But I had to have this physical binder in front of me. Not easy, but it worked ...most of the time. I looked for an app for a year. Finally found this one and it’s been a game changer. I have NEVER been late to pay any bills. I mark it as paid and can keep track of what my previous payments. It helps me budget so I can see pay days and pay bills in advance. So much I can say we are a month in front of our bills! And it’s so easy AND FREE!!!

Just wanted to give a word of thanks for your excellent app and for continuing to keep it updated. I’ve been using BIlls Monitor for several years now and find it simple and straightforward to use, which makes it a powerful tool for me. I see that all of your personal finance apps continue to get very high ratings on BillsMonitorPro Store and rightly so.

And to put my money where my mouth is, I’ve gifted your set of finance apps to my daughter who is/was in the market for some software tools to help with her personal finances. I was thankful I could refer her to your excellent products. Cheers!

Love it!!! Exactly the type of bill pay app I was looking for. It took me several disappointing trial downloads to arrive at this one. It’s so user friendly—it allows you to customize more than most apps of this sort. Should you not pay the total amount due, it automatically gives you the remaining balance due for that month. Because of COV 19, this feature is really helpful. I didn’t hesitate to upgrade to the paid version after two hours of trying out BillsMonitorPro . I was very surprised and elated at the amount—times are really hard right now. Thank you.

I have been looking for an app that does exactly this. I am able to modify bills the way I want. Best of all I don’t have to link it to my bank account. I don’t need it linked, just want an app to remind me when bills are due and can keep track of payments so I can look back at my expenses. Wish they would put a savings type button on BillsMonitorPro so I can track my 401K contributions and growth. I found a way to put it in as a bill but it would be nice to be able to have another way to track my investments/savings. I know I would have to put the info in it every two weeks but I do that already now. Just a suggestion. Overall pay the developer the money for the paid version. Worth more but I’m glad they are making it affordable for everyone. Big thanks for creating this awesome financial tool!

BillsMonitorPro replaced an app I had been using for several years where the developer decided to stop updating their app. I wanted something simply to put all my bills in by name, the amount and the due date. Most of the other apps wanted to go into money management etc. I didn’t need all that. Now BillsMonitorPro does do more than just remind you of bill due dates. It is more sophisticated than that it’s just that I don’t use all the other functions. I do love that it show you a weeks worth of Bill totals for the week and month for those who want it for budgeting purposes. I highly recommend BillsMonitorPro.

I love having Bills Monitor right at my fingertips to manage and maintain my finances. I downloaded Bills Monitor 2 years ago and decided it was time to be more responsible with my finances. What a difference! I was so shocked at how many expenses and how much stuff I was paying for - no wonder why my checking account was always getting overdrawn? Today, 2 years and 3 months later it’s been life-Changing to learn how to monitor Bills and expenses. I even add my allowance as a bill. No expense goes out without it being put into my bills monitor, which is where I work my budget from. Amazing self-discipline tool! I am Blessed by the life-Changing direction this tool sent my financial direction!

I've used another app - BillMinder - for several years now. They stopped updating BillsMonitorPro so I had to find another. I don't need BillsMonitorPro to pay my bills. I don't need BillsMonitorPro to budget for me and plan for the future. I just need an app that will track all of my bills and help me avoid late fees by paying on time. Bill Monitor does just that. The interface is intuitive and easily learned. Some reviews negatively mention the time limit on recurring bills. While a "forever" button would be handy, I simply input every bill to repeat until 2100. Easily done, and if I'm around then, I'll extend it to 2200 😊. After several false starts and wasted $ on other apps, I'm glad I found Bill Monitor. You will be too.

During this past year my wife and I have gone through so much. From having a baby and her getting sick through the pregnancy to complications after complications afterward, BillsMonitorPro has allowed me to control the one thing I could in my life the financials. And with my wife out of work I needed to know where every last drop of my money was going and on what day every month. BillsMonitorPro gave me such a peace of mind In a very stressful time in my life. No other fancy app gave me the features I needed like BillsMonitorPro. It gave me everything I needed to set myself up for success in a time where everything was going wrong. And although it might not look the most modern, trust me it by far surpasses any other app in simplicity and functionality.

I looked at several financial apps, as I do when I try to find a app that with fit my needs. Such as a habit app, a journal app, education app, etc.
Financial app was one of the hardest to look for, not only did a lot of them come with a 20-30 dollars a month membership to even use BillsMonitorPro , but as I used the trial version, most of them weren’t even worth $5.
But BillsMonitorPro took the cake. I can store all my financial needs here and it’s so easy to use!
Beautifully constructed app. Highly recommend if you want to be more conscious of your spending.
