Zoo Story 2™ - Best Pet and Animal Game with Friends! Reviews

I love this game it's really addictive and fun. But there's just one little issue with the gems: they're too hard to get! The only ways to get gems are to either buy them with real money or complete certain goals that award a handful of gems. Which is really inconvenient considering lots of things in the game cost gems and I'm talking about way more then just 3 or 5. And in some of your other games like dragon story and castle story, sometimes there are goals that reward several gems for doing something really simple like buying any decoration you want or collecting coins from any coin generating building (castle story). But there aren't any goals like that ever in this game. And when you level up you don't get anything then either. I think you should add those gem and experience rewarding goals that sometimes show up and I think that every time you level up you get a 1 or 2 gems so you'll have something to look forward to other then unlocking new animals that you may or may not be able to afford because they might cost a bunch of gems. I also think you should make an aquarium story game. It could be just like zoo story except with more sea creatures basically. So please consider my game idea and make it easier for people to earn gems.

I love this game very much! But the problem is that.. I don't have as many gems to complete the challenges it gives me. For the crossbreed it costs 30+ gems! I can't do that! It costs way to much! And I'm not the type of person who spends a lot of money for gems. I would consider using a watch a video for earning gems! That's what is happening in Restaurant Story and Bakery Story! You get 10 gems everyday and I think that's good enough for me. You should do the same exact thing for Pet Shop and Zoo Story and many more to come. Like Fashion Story and etc. but why pay 149 gems for another bed? That's too much. It's should at least be 8 the max. And the price for the dogs and cats and etc. costs like 18+ and I can't waste as much because I'm not the type of person who likes wasting money. I can't even waste money! I'm young! I'm a teen and yeah I have a job but I don't like buying things off of iTunes. So please reconsider this! I would be really pleased if you made this come true! It would be a little bit easier for me to complete the challenges! I would be the happiest person if you add on watch the video to earn gems. So please please please! I'm begging you! Please consider doing this! I would really appreciate it and I would rate it 5 stars! Thank you!

I love this game and have become addicted. It's a lot of fun and the animals are so cute. My boyfriend loves watching me play and I convinced my mom to play too. It's a lot of fun and it's hard to put down. I also play farm story 2. There are a few downfalls though. You cannot switch devices or transfer your zoo. So make sure you start on a device you plan on playing it on. Also it's way too EASY to accidentally spend gems. There should be an extra accept button so you don't accidentally tap it. If the gems were cheaper to buy than we would definitely purchase but a little pricey for a game you can't change devices on. Also, it is a pain to only have one breeding nest without paying a ton of actual money. It should be cheaper or should be able to unlock it somehow in game.

Asked for expansions a long time ago. Never updated. Animals in storage. Want new background,seasonal items,earn coins, items, trade,gift for visiting( the item one earns given to the other for help with each others zoos,maybe smaller but still the same), new flowers/trees/grass/trains/ food courts,picnic areas,picnic items, clothing w/characters,things to buy in gift shops, souvenirs, food for animals (could trade or buy), more sidewalk decor (like brick pavers,paths,dirt,hay, something)etc... I would like to still be able to see visitors while playing. Can't because no room. Allow us to turn our animals or something cuz we can't see them all. A lot of people r leaving because of expansions/items/maturingtime/costs of animals and breeding as well as upgrading. It's getting us angry, upset, annoyed, some can't afford the items we would like. Animals,deco, etc.... Offer us more to earn, give us our choice what to give besides building material. Make this game fun again. That's why you lose people. I agree w/the sick issue of animals also.

I saw this game on the list of games while I was playing something else and it looked like fun so I downloaded it. The game is fun, I like breeding the animals and building the zoo. HOWEVER, I am stuck at a few goals, simply due to the fact that I refuse to spend that much money on gems. It's ridiculous. And you have to have gems to complete tasks, like breeding a liger. Or getting certain animals.

I only have one neighbor on there because I don't know anyone's storm 8 id, and the game does not allow you to request community zoos to be your neighbor. Plus you can only request gifts one time a day from your neighbors....so it will take me almost two weeks to complete my puffin exhibit because I don't have enough gems to purchase the items, and there are about 10-15 total items I need. 1 per day from a friend.....

So until they solve these problems I'm done. I can only collect money so many times, now I'm getting bored with it.

The game overall is fun and there are lots of animals to collect and breed. However, there are A LOT of animals you can only obtain with gems, which require you spend a ridiculous amount of money since there is no way to earn them in the game! Same goes for the goals...you can't complete them without spending way too much money. Make it possible to earn gems in-game and the rating would go way up.
Also, you can only expand your zoo so far. You end up having to keep a ton of animals in storage because they just won't physically fit in the space provided. What's the point of being able to get so many animals and exhibits when you can only show off a portion of them?
Lastly, you're constantly bombarded with goals to try their other games, but you don't even get anything for it! I understand them pushing their other games, but at least make it worth my while to try them! Zero rewards means I'll be trying zero of their other games.

If you're an animal lover how can you not like this game. But....having to use a gazillion gems that you can only get my spending gazillions of dollars ruined the game. I have a feeling at some point we will reach a point where we can't do anything because all that's left are things you need to spend hard earned money (ours) to envoy the game that is earning (you) money. That's not going to happen. This is for enjoyment. So I'm sure like with other games I've played it reached a point that I had to delete the game. I refuse to spend any of my real money on any of your fake animals. So I'm sure in a short time I'll be deleting the game because there won't be anything left to do but collect coins. Where are the collecting gems? No where. Why you ask? Because you think we are going to open our real wallets. Not this gal. And from reading the revues not a bunch of us. People remember they are fake animals so it's okay to delete the game. No animals were hurt!!

Ok ok... Great game I love it! But I would add these things.... 1. At least one way to get gems buying it doesn't help ALL YOU DO IS PAY MONEY ON SOMETHING WHICH IS USELESS 2. I think you should add a button which collects all the coins and stuff CUZ MY HAND IS TRIED 3. More updates please I'm not done with this game yet but if I get to the end what am I going to do? NOTHING UNLESS YOU SPEND MONEY 4. More animals and a new land.
This is when you get a new land and place new animals 5. Extinct animals, to get extinct animals you do this HARD quiz about the extinct animal your getting I think it would be a great update to the game 6. Tickets, you watch a video so you can get a ticket and then on whatever gem item you can use a ticket or more. Anyways I think it's a great game! Just more things to add please...

I am refuting a complaint I read about animals that were not easily obtained without the use of gems! I believe in games AND life, we need to have items to work towards, save for, strategize to achieve, or obtain! This game provides that task as an important part that is regularly placed before it's players. I also believe the company, creator &/or owner of this and most other games is in the market of earning money. The method of implementing the purchase of gems regularly to acquire items in task completing is ingenious. I am grateful this is not the only way to play this game as I do not personally buy any gems......I just find ways to earn them. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my opinion! My 5 year old and I love this game! We enjoy getting new animals & sending each other gifts. My only complaint is the gem issue. I'm not buying them-ever! The game gets boring after awhile (for me) when I can't finish a goal. I'm not sure how you are supposed to earn gems without buying. Some goals that have gems as a prize actually cost you more gems than you would receive. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how to complete some goals without buying gems. My son loves it because he just loves the animals & doesn't really do the goals (he can't read). So if you want adults to not get bored it would help to have a way to earn gems or have goals that don't require having 30 of them to play.

I love this game it is amazing and fun to play and learn about the animals and there is plenty of animals to purchase with your money that you earn as you progress in the games. There is a problem tho.🤔as I play the game things come up to me saying I have to spend these gems for something like an animal. When I do this my gems get lower and lower and there is no other way to get them in less you purchase them. They need a update for this. As you play this game you start of little and as you keep going tho you level up more and more and soon you see your zoo progress and get bigger and bigger and it is just amazing to be apart of that experience.😍😍it is just an awesome game❣❣😅💝💝

I really love the game I play it everyday but I do have some suggestions I hope you can take into consideration... First of all when I get a new phone I have to start the game all over which really makes me mad because I have spent a lot of money on this game so an idea I have for you is that you can make accounts and each person can sign into there zoo no matter was devise they are on (iPad iPhone iPod ect.) therefore it will save there progress. The next thing I have is expansions I have a feeling I will be running out of expansions soon and I would like for you to add more. I really hope you take this into consideration I really hope you consider my first suggestion because I love the zoo I have now and don't want to start over once I get a new phone. Otherwise amazing game keep up the good work!

Overall, this game is quite fun. I love collecting and breeding the animals and expanding my zoo, but I define rly have a few objections to a few minor things.

I find it annoying that if you do not visit in time the baby that you are breeding gets sick. I also find it disturbing that you can either "heal" the baby for gems (which are, as others have mentioned, practically impossible to earn), or you "abandon" it. It's concerning that a game designed for kids suggests that they are abandoning a sick baby animal. This is probably just a way to get people to buy gems. Kids don't want to "abandon" the sick baby animal so they use gems to heal it and pretty soon they've used all their gems and don't want to lose their baby animals so the buy more gems.

I suggest that you change the "abandon" option to something less harsh like "send to another zoo" or "release into wild". Or you could simply give the option to heal and a "cancel" option with a warning saying that they will lose the animal if they don't heal it.

Another complaint that I have is the complete inability to invite friends. In most other TeamLava games there is an option to invite a friend while at their forest or habitat or whatever, where as in this game you have to know their Storm8 ID.

It's a great game! Really! There are just some little problems with it. I can't stand how each time you breed/crossbreed it costs the in-game money. It's really hard to get by in this game without spending any real-life money, but somehow I've managed to do it so far... Also, there are some animals that have same genders, like the lion, for example. Both of them have manes, but you can still breed them. That's just wrong. Have one of them not have a mane and be a little bit lighter! Is it really that hard? Anyway, that's all. So far this is a pretty good game! Those things just dragged your rating down to a 4.

I would give it five stars IF the time on things were shortened. I don't mind waiting, I have played other games that required waiting but breeding and lab takes more than three hours on most animals in fact it goes into days.
So I can basically do nothing except collect and wait. The next problem is gems. If I want to complete many of the lab tasks I have to buy gems with real money. Its not a lot but still a little here and a little there adds up to a lot. I know this won't happen but if you shortened the waiting time for breeding and other tasks and had a way to earn gems or get rid of them completely I would give it 5 stars.

I like curating my own zoo and having challenges to complete. The animals you can acquire however get harder and harder to get--need too many points and/or gems. In order to hold on to your customers you need to offer incentives they can reach without spending cash. It hasn't has an upgrade in years as I've now played it with a few of my kids. More variety of animals, feeding of foods that they eat in wild, more educational info and maybe interactive guests that visit are some suggestions. Please update and add something new to keep people playing!

It's great for whole family to do together and encourages our kids to plan and design but this whole waiting 2-3 days for more land and breeding of animals just discourages our kids to stay with it. Also, as many above has complained, there has to be more goals and incentives to earn gems instead of buying them as the only options. Other than that, it is fun and particularly amusing to watch the folks stop at the first aid building, observe, and snap pictures of it.

My sister in high school offered it to me and I said okay I’ll give it a try and then she downloaded it and I was 1 and I could walk and talk dress myself and I had a iPod sense that i have played with Zoo story 2 and I love it but it said that it needed to be updated for the week and I needed to check on my animals/ zoo and Caitlin’s zoo because they need to be fed and collected and the reason why I’m doing my zoo and Caitlin’s zoo is because Caitlin quit playing it and I think deleted it is because she did not have time or room on her phone

By far, this is one of the best of the Story series! Everything from breeding, collecting, expanding, and more is just perfect. And once you get a good amount of animals and friends like me, everything becomes so easy! And it's not easy to spend your gems, like in Farm or Castle Story, so it makes it all the more enjoyable! One thing that should be removes is the slot and pool app quests. I don't think slots is good for kids, but overall I'm in love with this game! This and Pet Shop Story are some of you finest work!

Do NOT install if you have updated to iOS 11. I updated to 11 and can no longer open the game. Tells me that the developers need to update ZooStory2 to make work with iOS 11. Looks like no updates in sight.

This game has the EXACT limitations as Pet Story. They didn't make anything better. They made it exactly like pet story but with zoo animals and concessions earn money. That's it. You still run out of room and have to resort to storing a lot of animals if you want to continue to buy new ones - well by new I mean animals you don't have as I've yet to see an update for this game in months and months so apparently "new" (as in never before seen) is out of the question.
