Unusable

UPDATE: I really liked DailyWaterPro right up until the last update. I liked it so much that I bought the “pro” version (one week later the update came and messed it up. After working through the vastly complicated new interface I was beginning to like it a lot again. Now I’ve discovered a new issue - DailyWaterPro reports the amount of water I drink to Apple Health as a negative number. After a week of waiting for Maxwellapps to answer my questions I decided to delete it. What a waste!

It mainly works.

DailyWaterPro works. However, there are certain issues:

The interface is not well thought out. I’m presented with nine glasses. I touch a particular glass to show it’s been drunk. However, I have to tap a particular glass. Tap an empty one, and it’s “undrunk”. It means I can’t simply rely on muscle memory. I’d rather if there was a simple “+” button to mark fixed on the screen to mark if drank a glass.

The interface always shows nine glasses. My doctor told me to drink 10 glasses, there’s nothing I can do to mark that 10th glass. If I am told to drink five glasses, there are still nine on the screen. Plus, there’s no way to show ½ a glass drunk. This is important because I’ve marked that my glasses are 15 ounces because I am supposed to drink ten 7½ ounce glasses.

A long press on DailyWaterPro icon shows that I can mark ¼, ½, or a glass. That would be convenient. However, it doesn’t work.

The notifications should be easier to setup. If I’m supposed to drink so many glasses per day, maybe automatically setup the notifications.

It does what is designed to do.

It tracks glasses of water. You can customize the size of the by oz or ml. It does have a sound when you log a completed drink (it’s annoying and I immediately turned it off). You can set up a schedule, but it’s cumbersome to use. Finally, I wish it would have a drop down for type of liquid (coffee, water, etc).

There is a glitch with my Apple Watch. It doesn’t automatically enter each glass as you would think. Also, doesn’t automatically change to the next day. You need to do that manually.

Not the same at all

I don’t know what happened to DailyWaterPro but it doesn’t work with my Apple Watch anymore. That was the whole reason I got DailyWaterPro was to have a reminder to drink and a quick easy way to keep track of drinking on my watch. I get reminders but can not log in what I drink on the watch. It works ok on my phone but I liked just touching the glasses of water. It was quick and simple.

Still needs work especially w the Apple Watch Sync feature

The best feature which is the Apple Watch sync still needs a lot of work. Sync is very very delayed. Sometimes hours for the watch to see an entry. Favs and entries are also convoluted still. Wrote support. Never heard back from them.

Nice and helpful but could use some improvements

Like how it's easy to use and that you can customize the alerts. Would like the number of glasses showing to reflect the daily goal number set by the user instead of always showing 9. Also, since the volume of the water flow is tied to the ringer volume it is too loud so you end up turning that feature off. Please tweak DailyWaterPro if you can. Thanks

What on earth!

Somehow you killed one of my favorite apps. It’s been on my first page of apps for years. The drink down functionality is clever but too much. A simple tap was much easier. One of the things that made DailyWaterPro one of my favorites was the simplicity and clear indicator of my daily progress. That lever action is way too complicated and not intuitive at all. ;(. This has always been a five star app for me, but I have to bring it down to 3. There’s just too much going on now.

Stopped Working

Stopped working when I upgraded my OS to 14.4. It’s hit or miss with notifications. Misses at least two of the scheduled drinks.
Updated: it’s the best water app around when it works. I now have 7 out of 8 notifications working. The last one never reminds me.

Excellent but not perfect

I use many glass sizes so I just have my size set to 10 oz. However, when I’m entering several “glasses” it’s annoying when I get an alert every time saying that it was logged to the Health App...maybe only alert if there was an issue??

Minimalist; few ads!

Very straightforward, no fuss. Good visuals to go off of. Even with ads in DailyWaterPro, the ads are only once every 48 hours if you choose to watch one now. I turn sound effects off and this runs smoothly for me on iPhone 6s.

Best water app

I have been using DailyWaterPro for about 2 years now. This is the best water app. I tried several but this one is super easy to use and you can customize the cup size. It can't get any more simple. Just open and tap the cups. It used to be hard for me to drink lots of water but DailyWaterPro is so helpful.

Does what it claims. What a rarity!

What can I say? Daily Water makes me miss my mom. It reminds me to drink water at intervals I set. Sometimes it’s annoying when my Apple Watch pops to remind me to drink water and I’m in the middle of something. What?! I Didn’t I just drink water?!...but when I check, invariably it has indeed been a few hours. So, I chug a glass of water, even when I’m not thirsty while sending positive mental vibrations and thanks to the makers of “Daily Water” for creating an app that does exactly what it claims to do, which is reminding me to do the right thing, just like my mother used to do. I sure miss her. Thank you Daily water.
REQUEST Please add number of glasses either already consumed or left to drink to the reminder. It would be helpful to keep track.

Look and Feel Sooo Much Healthier Lately!!!

Awesome!!! H2O is most likely the number one move toward a healthy lifestyle and prevention of illness and disease!!! DailyWaterPro is so detailed, practical and fun that it makes drinking water a game instead of a nuisance and the alarms hydrate U throughout the day!!! Plus U can see your progress though cool charts 'n stuff!!!
Thanks so much:)))

Clean and easy to use hydration journal/tracker

A health app that I use everyday and find really useful. A clean and easy way to track personal water consumption. So many ways to see and chart how your daily weekly monthly yearly progress is going and (even though I don’t have one yet) Daily Water even works with Apple Watch. There’s even cute sound effects (that are pretty subtle...honestly I only hear them while wearing headphones. My one criticism is that I wish DailyWaterPro synchronized with both my iPhone and iPad Mini. Here’s hoping that DailyWaterPro can get a little faster in future updates too. A great app that just works. Highly recommended!

Very useful

I like DailyWaterPro as it does what it is supposed to do: reminding and encouraging me to drink more water. The only problem I found with it is that the number of glasses I have drunk in a previous day, displayed on DailyWaterPro 's icon, does not change unless you open DailyWaterPro the next day for it refresh. That's a minor problem, but I thought it could help the improvement of DailyWaterPro.

Perfect!

I have a tendency to be dehydrated and was told by my Nephrologist that I should be drinking 8-12 glasses of water a day. This is a huge struggle for me since I don't have a big thirst and could never remember how much I was really drinking. DailyWaterPro was just the answer and really helps to keep me on track. The reminders are perfect to nudge me along. I shared this with my doctor who thought this was great and she plans to share this with other patients who are struggling the same way I was. Thank you!

Very Helpful

User friendly! Very helpful easy way to track your water consumption. You can define your own glass size in either the English system or the metric system. It will also sync the info to your health app on iPhone. You can set up alerts to remind you to drink and you don’t have to open DailyWaterPro to see how many glasses you have consumed. You can set it up to keep track of how much you have consumed or how much you still need to consume to reach the goal you define.

Daily water

I can't give it any stars. I had DailyWaterPro for years and loved it but this new verison I don't understand it and therefore it's no use to me. I'm very sorry about that but we'll have to part company. Well I decide to give it another chance, it seem to be working. I restore my purpose,so don't recharge me again. I have had DailyWaterPro for years. I have to give it 5 stars it's an excellent app
This is an excellent app and very easy to use and I enjoying it very much.

Low-Maintence, Simple H2O Tracker

DailyWaterPro is really helpful and simple.
You can customize a lot of aspects: the "default drink size," the "daily goal" amount, etc. I mainly use it to keep myself accountable. The features such as "schedule" (to set alarm reminders to drink), "history" (to see your progress over time), and "charts" (for visual people) are really cool trackers but I personally never use them. Also, DailyWaterPro never bogs you down with ads(!) and it is not needy (you can set it so DailyWaterPro never bugs you with reminders). I would recommend this H2O App if you are trying to stay more hydrated but want a low-maintenance App with a clean design.

Keeping track of hydration very easy!

Because I work out I must keep track of water intake for different seasons. What works in cold weather does not work in hot. DailyWaterPro lets me specify the amount of water and the times. With or without reminders.
Very handy!
