What is Discovery? The Discovery app allows users to access and manage all their Discovery products in one place. Users can access their membership card, find healthcare professionals, submit and track claims, view their policy information, and more. The app also allows users to earn Vitality points for their workouts from the Health App.
- Access to Discovery Health: Users can access their membership card, find healthcare professionals, submit and track claims, get their tax certificate, and more.
- Access to Discovery Vitality: Users can see their Vitality points and status, track their Vitality Active Rewards goal, and more.
- Access to Discovery Card: Users can view their transactions and balances, spend their Discovery Miles in-store, and more.
- Access to Discovery Insure: Users can request emergency assistance, submit a claim, track their Vitalitydrive points and Active Rewards, and more.
- Access to Discovery Life: Users can view their policy information, including financial adviser details.
- Access to Discovery Invest: Users can view their portfolio, including fund balances, and request to have a document emailed to them.
- Access to medical scheme information: Members on specific medical schemes can access their scheme information through the app.
- User notes: Users must be a Discovery member with at least one active Discovery product and register on the Discovery website before logging in to the app. Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. The app reads/writes data from Apple's Health App with the user's permission.

On iOs13. Since the latest update, Discovery did not load any data, I deleted Discovery and reinstalled, upon load I cant log in to my this app app anymore, whenever I select log in, the interface triggers the “Forgot password” link and I get redirected, the keyboard also shifts out of the screen which makes it very difficult to access, I luckily had keychain activated or I would not be able to enter my details at all. As a result of the failure to log in, I can not connect my fitness device either. Please assist or update Discovery as soon as possible.

Preferred Discovery how it was, the new interface is not as user friendly! The devices are not syncing as often and it is difficult to find the syncing options. Wish I didn’t have to see the rings for car insurance ect as it is not applicable to me and makes the interface look busy and confusing

Discovery tries to be much more than it really is. Very very slow to start, with frequent startup crashes. Slow and clunky to use with very poor navigation. Behind the scenes this app keeps on changing the exercise points awarded for certain levels of family accomplishments without any notification or explanation. This could be so much better.

More attention needs to be aimed at improving the Vitality app especially when uploading. Very very slow and need to do it several times manually. Why can’t it be done automatically like other apps. When you try and try and give up, you lost the valuable points

Discovery and website don’t answer questions about the vitality points system very well like they say I get 24% cash back on healthy eating but don’t say what I need to do in order to increase that % . That’s just 1 example It’s mostly the fault of the vitality rewards system being so complicated!!

Discovery has too many floors and backend bugs. I’ve logged two calls with Vitality and a a month later they are still not resolved. this app, probably, you need to change your developers. Discovery is tainting your image. I shudder to think of the experience with your banking app!???

There is no low this company wont sink to. Watch carefully as premiums are increased way above inflation, rewards reduced by 10x. this app also has zero understanding of digital security. The fact that they even try to run a bank is incomprehensible. Speaking of their bank- go check out all the hidden and grossly excessive charges.

The most pathetic and useless app when you need it. Takes forever and a decade to load, and majority of the times that you are in a shop and want to get a voucher, it just refuses to login even. Absolutely disgusted with it!!
