We have been using shopkeep for 7 years and last month signed up for their trial for an upgrade, after paying the same amount for 7 years!! After we cancelled the trial, one would think we would just go back to our previous program but no, now we are supposed to pay more each month for the same we had before!! Why??? Because we used the trial and that got us kicked out of previous arrangement? It wasn’t noted anywhere plus we are in the middle of the holiday season and it takes 5-7 business days to reestablish our gift-card system, we can’t accept or sell gift-cards now. This will cost us 1000’s of dollars!! I am just waiting for a class action lawsuit against this company. I have talked to other local shop owners we have referred and they have nothing but issues since shopkeep isn’t compatible with Apples software updates but they keep taking customers money and no notifications but blaming internet & hardware on issues!

We did a pretty in-depth review process of different processors before choosing shopkeep. After using them for year we decided to switch back to square because we ended up getting charged higher fees than promised for credit cards, the functionality was limited on the integration basically nonexistent. When trying to cancel the support team would not prorate or end my subscription until the following month after we were already using another provider. They ended up getting an additional month on us even though I kept arguing but they would not concede. Overall I would just say go with someone else.

I like the pocket app, but there are a few things I hate about it. If you want to check daily transaction, you have to go in and out one at a time. I wish you can start at the top or bottom and just swipe left or right to scroll thru them faster. Also, when looking at all the items sold for the day, it would be nice if it gave you a count of how many of each instead of just a total.

I love LightspeedPocketS! When I'm not at the coffee shop, I can quickly and easily see how busy my wife is and know if she needs my assistance. There is so much info at my fingertips, all my questions get answered in a glance: how many drinks is she making and the transactions screen shows me the time of each transaction so I know how close together the transactions are.

I have been having problem with my CC machine and integration for 10 days now and no one can help me to solve the problem. I explained to the tech support how unhappy I am and if I can take it to a manager level but no one reached out to me. I have been loosing customers due to a bad software. The Tech support lady mentioned that she is sorry and they have been having lots of problems with the Magtech and she was frustrated as well. I use to like Shopkeep and their support but unfortunately I am taking my business somewhere else.

For the most part a nice feature. Doesn’t always update regularly, it’s like it freezes on data pulled up once already. Could be internet/mobile services but that sort of thing usually corrects itself if you go back and try again later. Usually have to wait til the next day when it happens.

Have been using LightspeedPocketS for a couple years now and it has been issue after issue after issue. Then they want to go up on the monthly charge. Not worth the hassle. I would highly recommend another point of sale. Will be finding another point of sale program myself. Good luck.

We have used Shopkeep in our small rural general store for nearly five years. It is easy to use and works well for us. I like being able to track store activity and sales from LightspeedPocketS . I can keep track of items sold, tenders and other activities. It works well for us.

Check on your business when you can’t be there. Great App for the small business person. A system that has all the bells and whistles of an expensive system.

I like the idea of Shopkeep, but they just can’t make a stable product for restaurants. Printing errors, support team that doesn’t listen, total system crashes that require completely uninstalling and setting back up. Hardware integrations that don’t work consistently. They never seem to have an interest in fixing their issues. With all of the great cloud options out there, do yourself a favor and check the others out.

The Shopkeep app have lost countless tickets for our business, customers have been double charged; I pay extra for elevated support and they refuse to even respond to requests for assistence; Shopkeep was purchased by Lightspeed- they offshored their customer support- 45 min waits are common, no solutions for issues are common; asking for a supervisor- none available ever. The bottom line- DO NOT USE THIS SYTEM. DO YOUR HOMEWORK- LightspeedPocketS will cause headaches, lost business, and cost you. PASS ON IT.

I’ve loved the pocket for over a year and since the last update it suddenly isn’t connecting or giving me data!

I have had countless and countless problems from using this crap system! My customers are being double charged, items that have been put into the system won’t scan, system crashed constantly, card reader works when it wants to andthe solutions they give never work. I have sent way to many emails and called too many times for the same thing and thier solution to the problem is
Delete the system reinstall it and it SHOULD be fine. Then a day later or hours later or if im lucky weeks later it happens all over again.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Shopkeep to anyone

Do your research in other systems and save yourself the hassle of calling and calling to no resolution.

LightspeedPocketS is getting better. I would like to see a page so I could see everyone clocked in. Sales broken down by register. Be notified of bad things like returns or random things like $1000+ cash transactions. I use LightspeedPocketS all day and it’s a lifeline for me.

Shopkeep Pocket has been excellent for our business operations. I am able in real time to monitor and check transactions. Highly Recommended!!!!

Shopkeep needs to catch up feature wise with competitors like Revel. Can you customize your logo on top of your receipts- NO. Can you use a kitchen display system - NO. Can you text receipts to customers - NO. Does Shopkeep offer a customer display solution - NO. No is a common answer with this company and the features listed need to be implemented ASAP.

When you have problems with this system, and you will, good luck getting help with it. They want you to chat with them. Some people things are pretty difficult to text. I was on hold for 53 minutes AGAIN trying to talk to someone and the problem still wasn’t fixed. Be prepared for frustration.

We love having pocket-especially when we are away from work. It gives you everything you need to stay on top of your bottom line.

Has all the functionality you need for register activity.

They overcharge you for what you get and if you use them for your credit card processor they will charge you 3 times what other companies charge. Plus no matter what you do you will not be PCI compliant so they charge you for that as well. Then when you find this out and try to cancel their service they refuse to refund the unused portion of what you paid.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I check LightspeedPocketS more than any other app per day! Not sure if it’s an addiction to see how my biz is doing from anywhere or if it’s just not having to call anyone about an update because it’s in my pocket or hand!

This has caused a great problem because as you know the checks do not have the correct amount on them anymore. You now have an extra step and some of our employees don’t remember and it’s caused so much more work.

Before this we were very happy.

Good to be able to see what’s going on when traveling and not able to actually be at the shop, without calling in every few hours to check.

We love the instant comparisons we're able to make from any device in real time!

Gives me all the information I need!
