We have been using shopkeep for 7 years and last month signed up for their trial for an upgrade, after paying the same amount for 7 years!! After we cancelled the trial, one would think we would just go back to our previous program but no, now we are supposed to pay more each month for the same we had before!! Why??? Because we used the trial and that got us kicked out of previous arrangement? It wasn’t noted anywhere plus we are in the middle of the holiday season and it takes 5-7 business days to reestablish our gift-card system, we can’t accept or sell gift-cards now. This will cost us 1000’s of dollars!! I am just waiting for a class action lawsuit against this company. I have talked to other local shop owners we have referred and they have nothing but issues since shopkeep isn’t compatible with Apples software updates but they keep taking customers money and no notifications but blaming internet & hardware on issues!

I have been having problem with my CC machine and integration for 10 days now and no one can help me to solve the problem. I explained to the tech support how unhappy I am and if I can take it to a manager level but no one reached out to me. I have been loosing customers due to a bad software. The Tech support lady mentioned that she is sorry and they have been having lots of problems with the Magtech and she was frustrated as well. I use to like Shopkeep and their support but unfortunately I am taking my business somewhere else.

The Shopkeep app have lost countless tickets for our business, customers have been double charged; I pay extra for elevated support and they refuse to even respond to requests for assistence; Shopkeep was purchased by Lightspeed- they offshored their customer support- 45 min waits are common, no solutions for issues are common; asking for a supervisor- none available ever. The bottom line- DO NOT USE THIS SYTEM. DO YOUR HOMEWORK- this app will cause headaches, lost business, and cost you. PASS ON IT.
