I can’t stand it when we pay for apps then they just crash. I’ve updated BugsandButtons, and done all the others things you do when apps are not working right and BugsandButtons still won’t load.

My four year old son has a few learning set backs and we have found BugsandButtons to be a wonderful help. Visually he is intrigued, and the games are fun and simple. I love the music, variety, and simplicity of BugsandButtons. I DO wish they would add separate user profiles AND the tutorial for each game. As an adult, even I had trouble figuring out one of the games with no tutorial...thankfully we got it figured out fairly quickly and were able to enjoy the game...but if my son were to try and play alone, he would have been lost. The tutorial is available for most of the games, why not for all?! Aside from these two issues, this game was worth the cost as I am seeing a direct improvement in my sons skill levels, and that directly affects his school work in a positive way! If these two issues are ever resolved I will gladly rate this. five star app...it would be more than deserving at that point!

And hoping for more updates....the Bugs and Buttons series are far and away the best kids’ apps. They are visually beautiful with delightful sounds - entertaining, educational and just plain fun. They have carried my grandkids through toddler, preschool and early el years. We were all so sad when they were not updated right away, now so happy to have them back! Thanks for all the work and craftsmanship the creators put into these - so much appreciated!!

I must have over 30 children's apps that I use (or don't use because they're not that great) as an early childhood teacher educator and this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. How come nobody told me about BugsandButtons? It is fantastic! As other reviewers have said, the graphics are great, the music is fun, the user interface is so simple, the games are educational (but not drill and kill), it levels the user (and you can reset the levels). It is such a high quality app. I am stunned. It is such a steal for all the games you get. My only suggestion is to have the option of creating different user profiles so it can be used more effectively in a classroom.

Please update for iOS 11, I am a teacher of the visually impaired. I am always a looking for apps that motivate my students to practice the visual skills that are difficult for them but so critical in the classroom. BugsandButtons is simply fantastic. My students actually select it for reward time, AFTER I have had them work on other skills. I give it five stars hands down, and can not wait to see what might be coming next. For future versions I would love to have the ability to have students "log in" so it would remember where they were and keep their scores separate. My students would love to see who can get the highest scores, and they love trying to one up me. I would need to be able to have many "Users" registered on one app. Again, a great apps that teaches more than it claims.

I have tons of kids apps and this is hands down, bar none, the BEST app I own. From a learning stand point it is amazing - mazes, pattern recognition, counting, letters, colors, sorting, matching, along with a million other things.

All of the other educational apps are thinly veiled lessons, these games are all about fun. I only realized what a gold mine of learning opportunities recently after I started reading about skills for your preschooler and realized they we all covered in BugsandButtons.

I found out about BugsandButtons from a family at our hotel when we went to Hawaii last year. My son was just under 2, and they said it was a great one for the airplane because it kept them busy for hours. My son loved it then and still does now a year later. It has a long shelf life because it has simple games he could grasp then, lots of stuff for him now, and still more games that will probably be better several months from now. Even the more advanced games are well thought out so he didn't get frustrated, he likes to see the bugs running around. He finds the harder ones months later and loves them.

He was young at 2 for a lot of it, but loved the bugs running around. He is my only child so I'm not as familiar with older kids, but I think it would still hold his 5 year old cousin's interest. I don't know any kid older than that so I could only guess.

My 4 year old loves it.

Yay! Thanks for the update! As a Speech Language Pathologist working with preschoolers, I was thrilled to see that Bugs and Buttons has been updated Thanks!

When i was in kindergarten (this was in 2011 when ipads were still newfangled things) the elementary school i went to had this game on their iPads. I just remembered it again while purchasing the remastered classic angry birds game and decided to purchase this alongside it. Can’t wait to feel five again!! :)

I’m so glad BugsandButtons has finally been updated. My daughters all love this game as well as the others in this series. Thank you.

You are back, you are really back. I have an older iPad that I had refused to update because of apps like yours. This little app is packed with exciting educational activities. I work with children, and it is always a hands down favorite. Now everyone can get it again!

Update: Thank you so much for updating! Can’t wait til the other in the series to be updated as well....especially Bugs and Bubbles!

What a waste of my $$

We have loved BugsandButtons for years but it had not been updated for some time. Finally got the word today that it’s being updated!!! We are ecstatic and so excited! Best ever app for kids, especially little boys that love bugs!

I am a speech & language pathologist and have been using this whole series of apps since they were first released. They are among the best apps available. I really missed them when they were on hiatus but am beyond thrilled that they are available again.

Bought BugsandButtons years ago and was so sad when it couldn’t be opened on my newer iPad. Now I and my grandchildren are so happy to see these updates! I added to my iPad and bought two that I didn’t have before.
Best graphics and adventures for kids of all ages!

The bugs apps are the absolute best apps out there. We had Bug Art, and when it was no longer compatible I was so sad. I think I was just as excited as my kids when it was updated. Then we found all the other apps, and they are just as amazing! Seriously, even I play them. I’m so so happy this developer is back. ❤️

We were SooOoOo delighted to see at least one in this group is updated...absolutely LOVE these games. They are nature, lovely sounds, so educational— and it’s teaching so much too. When my son went to see if any his favorite bug games were working yet...like he’s done 100’s of times....he shrieked with delight and came running all excited. So a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for our little corner!!

I just bought this for my 3.5 year old son for his iPod Touch... and i am amazed with the detail & fluidity, not to mention all the different challenges & skills that are built into BugsandButtons! My son LOVES it! He jumps & throws up his arms, doing a football touch down dance every time he's passes a challenge! He gets so tickled!

My Mother and i were sitting with him the first time he played it, she even said that she gets her iPad that she plans to get all the same Educational Apps that i have put into my son's iPod! Especially this one! It's absolutely adorable, fun, exciting, challenging, & most importantly the children learn from it!

This is a MUST HAVE! If anyone gives this one a low rating they are DAFT!~
