Hi there, over all, I would say that this app works great. I run an online radio station, and would like to see some improvements made, such as an even higher bitrate such as 96 or 128 kbps audio, plus easier use with an audio interface. As of now, if I launch this app with the interface connected, it is not recognized. I have to launch this app and then plug in the interface for audio to be able to output. With input there is no problem, but it will not output to the interface unless I follow the procedure I just described. Also, the ability to continue streaming even if I move in to another app would be great. Plus, even listen to other audio without said audio going out over the broadcast. That would be a good way to make sure that what I hear live is sounding the same on my station. Otherwise, everything works great.

First off- as you may already know- this is not the official this app app. That’s because there is no official this app app. I would pay hard earned cash for an official this app app.
Mumble breaks up constantly - you can’t hold down the button for longer than ten seconds or else it cuts you off and makes you sound like you’re breaking up and having bad connection. I’ve tested this over several connections- both WiFi and phone internet- as well as multiple this app locations. Mumble breaks up badly.
However an app that breaks up badly is better than no app at all. So you can use it- but you can’t hold the button down for longer than ten seconds. You have to break up your sentence.
Good luck, and I’m hoping for an official this app app.

this app is a great VoIP client, and while I mostly use it on the desktop; being able to use it occasionally on my phone works out great!
My only minor complaint is I don't like to have to leave a server, just to quickly adjust my settings.
64-Bit support! YES!

Title is self explanatory, but I use this in games to coordinate and I would pay for the whisper option to be included in this. It needs to be included and I would greatly appreciate it if this was implemented.

Mumble is designed for an iPhone’s resolution and screen size, thus making it awkward to run on an iPad. Basically all of the features work (which is why 4 stars), but 1 star off for not being fully compatible with an iPad :(

Very happy Mumble is still supported. Thank you for taking the time to release a much needed update for compatibility sake.
Would be awesome to have an auto reconnect option.

Please please please update Mumble !! First of all it doesn’t even fit my screen right. It needs whisper/shout, push to talk, and just more settings overall!!! Come on guys it’s 2020, I have faith in you!!!

Works ....kinda
Doesn’t remember passwords
Large servers with lots of rooms are terrible to try and navigate with Mumble. Doesn’t let you collapse server room groups.

More straightforward GUI than discord

Continuous voice mode doesn't transmit audio , PTT works. Standard mode cuts the audio off too fast. Can't get to settings without first disconnecting

I need to delete this totally

You absolutely must use headphones since there is no echo cancellation option. Otherwise the people you talk to will hear themselves as their voice travels out your speakers and back into your mic. If two or more on the same server are not using headphones the echoes echo and the system is unusable. So just have everyone use headphones and it works fine.
But what I really want to see (and what would get a fifth star from me), is the ability to mute particular participants other than myself. Not because I don't like them, but because if we're in the same room, I can already hear them talk, then a split second later I hear them again from the this app server. Right now the only way around that is a communal microphone and two pairs of headphones on a splitter.
I would happily pay at least a couple dollars for either of the above features, and double for both.

Mumble has worked flawlessly for me on iPhone 6 but I would like to see more functionality. As of now it is basic connect and talk without the ability to do any administrative tasks. I would like the ability to move others, mute others, register users, and manage groups and channels. Also i would like to see the ability to retreive a saved certificate from cloud storage (ie: Dropbox, One Drive, Google Drive ect.) as the upload from itunes has been confusing for some of my users. Mumble has not crashed and doesnt seem to drain battery too badly. Adressing one reviewers comments about no PTT you have to change this in the settings area where you also can upload certs. PTT is possible but it must be toggled.

For those asking for push to talk, you might want to check preferences. Also click the this app icon top left to isolate a given channel or switch back to server channel list views (push to talk works in either case in the current versions, unlike older ones, which is great!)
Unfortunately yesterday's iOS7.1 update also seems to have broken something on the audio or network layer for this app, hopefully the dev gets a fix up quick. Since there's only this page and sourceforge, I'll start by posting the issue in both places! Hopefully others follow suit...being able to jump on the phone during a quick reboot or when I walk away from the PC is invaluable imo...

Mumble does exactly what it needs to do. Connect to your favorite this app servers and speak with people clearly. I only have a few issues with it, but they're not inconvenient enough to change the rating.
-Upon transitioning from wifi to 3G, Mumble loses connection, and I have to close Mumble completely in order to relog.
-It would also be nice to have registered names from Mumble itself. It gets annoying having to constantly ask people to drag me into specific channels.

I have used vent in the past, and decided to try Mumble to see if there was anything better. So far Mumble has worked seamlessly. I would however, like to suggest the ability to create password locked rooms, so only those within the server with the password may be able to access that particular sub-room. This would, in my opinion greatly advance Mumble past the competition. Please make this a possibility soon!
