VOM App Reviews

Now no matter what version or update if VOMApp , no matter what iPhone I’ve had, VOMApp eventually stops working. I go through the same process of deleting and reinstall in VOMApp , rebooting my phone, ensuring I have updated operating system. VOMApp stops working. This has happened year after year. Eventually VOMApp updates catch up to the IPhone updates, but it takes time and I feel frustrated as an intercessor for the persecuted. I do however enjoy VOMApp , learning about the countries, developing prayer strategies, and being encouraged by testimonies. I just wish VOMApp wasn’t so glitchy.

The Voice of the Martyrs app is a great tool to pray for Christians living in areas hostile to Christianity or restricted from Christian conversion, worship, teaching, preaching and sharing of the Gospel. In addition to a prayer suggestion for each day, VOMApp allows users to know more about the particular country for each day. The greatest insight comes from the radio broadcasts also accessible from VOMApp . One can listen to Todd Nettleton interview believers across the globe who are suffering under restrictions, constant risk, oppression, and imprisonment for their faith. These are the truly faithful, the true believers for whom we pray.

My mom and I use your app every single day during our “Jesus & Java” time in the morning but only if it’s working. Literally half of the time it doesn’t and I know it’s not my phone because I don’t have a problem like this with any other app. Please review your app and create a fix asap! Besides my Bible app, this is my most important app on my phone!! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO. I am A Voice too, thanks to you!! But again, please fix whatever bugs are preventing us from including your information and inspiration in our vital and awesome time together with Jesus and our brothers and sisters around the world. Today is my 50th. That’s what I’d love to have for my birthday :)

Voice of the Martyrs is an amazing ministry for the Lord! I am blessed to be a supporter. As a supporter, I received a letter in the mail that included an invitation to download their new app. I was excited to see what VOMApp was. It has been an added blessing since I’ve downloaded. Honestly brings me so tears. This new app they’ve created is amazing and well put together. God is surely blessing them! VOMApp keeps you connected, gives ways to share their stories, gives updates on whom to pray for, has great features like articles to read, videos to watch, and audio to listen to. Just a spectacular job! VOM will inspire all Christians to strengthen their faith and self examine. I am truly grateful for all you do! I’m so excited for how the Lord is blessing your ministry! I praise God how He has used Richard Wurmbrand’s book and the VoM Radio and other publications to touch our lives to live boldly for Christ in our current mission field with our Muslim neighbors. We pray for our persecuted siblings around the world for their bold witness for Christ in tough places, and for their meekness and endurance. This is truly the best place to hear news of the Body to mention our siblings by name continually in our prayers.

The VOM app allows us to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Each day it asks us to pray for Christians in a particular country. It has given a sense of meaning to my prayer life I have never had before. Praying a short prayer for God to help fellow believers in Jesus who are truly in need is so much more worthwhile than the silly self-centered prayers I would normally say. Very glad VOM makes VOMApp available.

After getting a new upgrade on my IPhone from a 13 to 15, I could no longer get into certain features such as reading available books, etc. VOM’s support team was quick to respond and so helpful. If anyone else runs into this issue, delete VOMApp and then reinstall and everything should work again:)

The VOM app is a great way to remember in prayer those in the body of Christ who are facing trials around the world. The Learn section is worth its weight in gold. Not only do you read about the persecution of members of the global church, but you also get to read about some of the positive things God is doing in the lives of His people and what specific things they need prayer for.

I’ve had the VOM app for years, but the latest update has organized the prayer requests, videos and books in a way that is much more user friendly. I find myself watching encouraging video clips or listening to a chapter in a book whenever I have some free time. I’m engaging with the content in VOMApp at a level I never did with previous versions.

Every morning after breakfast, I lead my four children in prayer using the “pray for the world” book, which is a book that has a schedule in the back flap for praying for a country a day and provides information on those countries.

I’ve added VOMApp to my prayer routine, and have been very grateful because of the more granular information it provides so that I can pray for my brothers and sisters more specifically.

Thank you for sharing and making it easier for me to know and pray for persecution. Thank you for making this your ministry and allowing me to have the tools to help and share with others.
Because of this I am able to pray all day long.
The stories and books stay with me all day and I can bring them to pray while doing my day to day task and it has helped me become a better prayer. I have become bolder in my faith about God’s will and my approaching the throne of grace.

I have been and plan to continue supporting and partnering with VOM! I have also started supporting BGEA and have very much appreciated how they actively send me reminders to seek to grow my personal relationship with our loving God and to actively share God’s word. Your new app is now doing the same thing! Thank you! In a world that obeys God’s enemy more than God’s truth, your reminders help us focus on the promises God gives and the fight our brothers and sisters are going through. I also want to mention, please keep speaking the truth in love as God commands us to do. I also support other organizations that in my opinion try to fight as the world fights. I appreciate the information that is given about what a government or business is doing, but auto-messaging should boldly speak God’s truth because we love the lost and God’s enemies. I simply want all to hear God’s word with my Godly love and let His Spirit convict them! May God continue to bless Voice of the Martyrs.

I love the richness of resources provided in the new VOM app. In the old one, you could pray for believers in the country of the day and read an extreme devotional. However, in the new addition of VOMApp , there are other books available to read. These resources provided window to what faithfulness looks like from fellow members of our Christian family around the world in the hardest places to identify with Christ and be a witness for him. Reading such stories is an inspiration to follow Jesus with a greater abandon. I am thankful to VOM for the updated app and encourage Manny to check it out.

When I pray or intercede for these blessed saints, who are being persecuted for our Lord’s sake, I am humbled, challenged, awakened, and given new hope. I get a picture of the beauty of the bride of Christ, the great appreciation and love they have for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ awakens my soul and gives me new Hope and joy and challenges me a’new, and a’fresh with a little bit of the “joy, unspeakable and full of glory”, which they possess. So when I get discouraged, I go to intercessory prayer for my heroes, the persecuted church through the world. Thank you, VOM for your part. In and because of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Dan.

While I appreciate access to the VOM books, I am not a fan of the new format. It has a colder look (not as welcoming) and I don’t remember ever having to use a password in the past. I also already receive the magazine and should have been able to bypass the requirement to enter my name and address. The unnecessary collection of personal data was almost the line in the sand for me. That should not be required. The only thing that made me reload VOMApp after deleting it is the daily prayer feature, which I have been using.

Seeing the current situations and areas of persecuted Christians, specific prayer requests, and POWERFUL videos of the unwavering faith of VOM’s founder who was tortured for years in prison and still stood strong in his faith in Jesus Christ, has rekindled my faith and inspires me to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who don’t know the great love live of God for them. I, along with many, live in an area where we can freely share our faith without being arrested or persecuted. Sadly, we don’t have that burden to reach the lost with the salvation of Jesus Christ. Lord God, forgive us and have the Holy Spirit enable us to share Your love with holy boldness. In Jesus name, amen.

I have loved missions since a little girl when missionaries would come to our church to share about the nations where they were serving. I especially loved it when they wore the traditional garments and brought items from that country to show us how they live their every day lives.

God made a way for me to go to Romania just after my last child left home and that was 25 years ago. I have been blessed to serve in Romania since that time.

My daughter taught school and served as principal and Director for years, and retired during the pandemic. She is now serving Afghan refugees here in the town where she lives- Between 50 and 70 families. January 2023 she went to Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. It was a fact-finding mission so she would know how to witness to Muslims. She interviewed many converts to Christianity to ask them what about the gospel opened their hearts and minds to the truth.

We love seeing what God is doing around the world and we love sowing into many ministries. It’s a joy every day to read about where God is moving and how we can be a part both in prayer and financially.

VOM has opened a door for me to intercede for the Lord’s people, for those who are persecuted. My heart aches for them and I wake up every morning and make intercession for the persecuted church and for VOM.

I enjoy every Saturday morning and hear from VOM’s radio. Engaging in the reports that I hear, I can see the Lord is moving and doing through all those missionaries He has called to go out.

I have enjoyed so much the books available through VOMApp and have ordered multiple copies to give to those sisters in Christ in my life. Also shared with them all the wonderful outreach through VOM is doing around the world. The Lord continue to bless you for all that you are doing for the body of Christ, VOM.

We need their example. I learn daily just how blessed I really am. To never have a pity party when I learn about the lives of our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world and 🙏🏻for them using the VOM APP. Every Christian needs to include a growing knowledge of what the persecuted are facing and let their courageous faith inspire our faith to grow, 🙏🏻and take Spirit🔥led action.
I used to be a short term foreign missionary/photographer and am now a homeland missionary. Reading about the persecuted grows my faith and compassion in a way not completely possible before. Bless you all at VOM as you continue the WURMBRAND’S legacy and help us fulfill the great commission in these end times.

Thank you so much for this resource which not only reminds me each day to pray for my persecuted brethren but gives me detailed ways to do so effectually, praying with my spirit & also with my understanding (I Cor 14:15). The podcasts/audio are so convicting & encouraging & easy to access while in the kitchen, walking, etc. God’s work & His servants on the front lines are surely getting multiplied prayers because of this❤️
