I had AeroPlusAviationWeather for quite some time and I love it. I also like that you have the option to connect it to an iridium sat phone.
But I have never been able to make it work. I paid the subscription (by mistake I paid it twice, thinking that the payment had not gone through) and it never recognized that I had paid!
So I contacted customer service and they didn’t been acknowledge that I had written to them. Stay away from AeroPlusAviationWeather.

AeroPlusAviationWeather gives the pilot a quick look at what the current weather is doing all along the route. Need a forecast...touch the reporting station. Great quick app! ATP/CFIIME

Does not allow you to check METARs at an individual location. Can't even see the METAR, don't bother because AeroPlusAviationWeather is useless.

You have to pay to use it...on a yearly subscription...after the first two weeks. And even free trial, you have to pay to see TAFs. All of this is included with whatever in flight aviation app you currently subscribe to (I.e. ForeFlight). I was just hoping for a small, light version to use when not flying. But I'm certainly not paying $30 for the first year for this.
Besides, AeroPlusAviationWeather takes forever to load. I can search the web and get the local metars from ADDS before this finishes loading.

THe interface is great looking and I had high hopes. However, there are a lot of missing airports (the smaller ones) and since I'm a private pilot, those are the ones I really need. There does not appear to be a way for me to add airports to the database either

App is due for an update as it has been a while. Over all good app would love to see radar over lay. How about forecasted icing or thunderstorms like the HEMS site does? a little faster loading of the TAF would be helpful.

I don't find AeroPlusAviationWeather very useful for the subscription cost. Consider that all of the data you are accessing is free on many other sites so I'm just paying for ease of use / presentation. I would rather pay for ForeFlight. To me, AeroPlusAviationWeather should cost 1.99 or less and that's it.

Good app for pilots who want stuff fast and easy. Should still have the type of flight recommended though. (vfr,ifr, etc.)

On an iPhone 4, AeroPlusAviationWeather is slow and uses google maps as a base layer. TAF coverage is an in-app purchase. There are others that are better.

Really nice app. Worth 3-4 dollars. Love the world-wide coverage. No app out their fills this niche, and for free, too good. I would like to see temp added as one of the displayed variables. Keep up the good work. If anybody finds a better app, list it.

Nice app, looks good, great idea. Problems are freezing and crashing, usually associated with navigating map. Sometimes groups of smaller airports appear and sometimes they don't. I give it 3 stars for the idea, format, and effort, but until these issues are fixed AeroPlusAviationWeather is not dependable. $5.99 for TAFs is steep, but would be okay if app worked properly.
