1) Why can’t we categorize receipts as a nothing other than a charge? Need to be able to mark it as a bill.
2) Why have a dashboard but now indicate which clients have items in their inbox?
3) The resolution that Dext saves photos in is garbage which makes it difficult to impossible to actually read receipts that are much longer than ~6 inches. This is unacceptable.

The new app layout is awesome! Definitely the easiest receipt capture app to use. The integration with QuickBooks online is flawless. I open Dext , click the button, and the receipt is stored in the cloud for my accountant. Easy peasy. I will never lose another receipt

I like Receipt Bank overall but there was a strange bug when changing my pw on an Apple 8+. I could put in the pw but the keyboard perfectly covers the “Save and Login” button. There’s no way to lower the keyboard so I was stuck (I just realized I could have rotated the phone - don’t know if that would have worked). In any case, its a UI bug that should be fixed. Otherwise, its a great program.

We use across multiple businesses and really like Dext . It would be nice to have only one login and toggle between multiple businesses - just an idea for developer.

We have been using the software for quite some time. Recently we noticed that when we pick Client A, the software records Client C instead. It is either a bug in the software or something in the database has gone corrupt.
It has been a week and we don’t have a solution yet. We are paying a lot on a monthly basis, we are looking to use our own in-house resource to record the receipts in QuickBooks instead.

Works good, some of the auto reading of payees or amount gives some false data. Overall, it is a great time saver and receipt tracker. Very useful tool.

I’m having a hard time getting a hold of someone to help me. I upgraded from plus to premium and was charged for both transactions, but still have plus. I can’t finish scanning my expenses until this gets upgraded. Not sure if I’m going to keep this. I thought it would be easier. 🤦🏾♀️

When I download an app that does not show up front pricing, but wants my CC info for a free trial...
Why is it so hard for businesses (marketing) to be honest from the start. 2 stars for that. As soon as I was offered a free trial, I knew there would be a “hook”. Deleted without even trying.

I’m trying to file my taxes and do not have an easy clear option to help me extract my scanned documents.
There is no contact information for Customer service that will help make this easy for me.
That should be number one priority is Customer Service Contact information.
I do Not Recommend anyone use Dext!.???

For the cost of the service, it did not capture the sales tax on the receipt, that might be useful for the subscription service. I travel for a living so could end up scanning hundreds of receipts
I’m looking for a low-cost solution.

I have had this for a couple months and it no longer imports names on the receipts. I keep looking for an update or a chance to subscribe but nothing shows up. Frustrating.

Truly an amazing app that does it all for me. It captures the info on the receipt and the credit card/method of payment. Highly recommend for the busy people that like to keep things in order. Highly recommend.

Take a photo of or scan a receipt in and Receipt Bank creates a transaction with the attached image of the receipt that can then be directly published into Xero or Quickbooks. Its working like a dream!
Thermal receipts only last a few months, not the 7 years they're supposed to be on file. Receipt Bank makes it easy to attach the image of the receipt directly to the transaction in Xero. No more paper necessary!
4 stars because I'd prefer to assign receipts to a client's account after uploading them rather than to having to be in the correct client's account first. This isn't a big problem, though!

Dext does the basics of receipt submission, and sends them to the website where they can be managed. Right now, however, users then have to go to the website, look up their entry, find the right one and *then* describe it for the accountants who issue reimbursements.
What would be useful is to have a simple title or description field in the mobile app so submitters don’t have to leverage the website. Even better would be a simple category pick list, managed on the web side.
Haven’t seen many feature improvements lately. How is the company doing? Good enough to refine their service, I hope.

Works great for me, found one minor bug to do with "published" status not being recognized but that's a result of me having an unusual workflow process and won't affect most users.
One missing feature is ring able to choose payment method and purchase type from within Dext , but apparently this is in their to-do pipeline so looking forward to this being implemented.
Other than that, the overall service is proving a huge timesaver for me.
By the way where Kellmyr complains about the "UK dating system", that's actually the dating system used by the ENTIRE WORLD except for just one annoying country (and also tolerated by Canada because they're too nice).
