ClockZ | Clock Display + Alarm Reviews

I like ClockZClockDisplayAlarm quite a bit: it’s not cartoony or retro like most other apps with a large clock for quick view. But I wish there were an option to remove the huge A.M./P.M. part that is unnecessary and takes up an inordinate amount of the screen. Also, I hope there’s a way to make it override the phone’s auto-sleep function, making ClockZClockDisplayAlarm much more useful. Keep going!

I am deleting ClockZClockDisplayAlarm. I wanted to use ClockZClockDisplayAlarm on my night stand. But ads keep flashing on and off and waking me up.

I’ve heard of greed. But c’mon people. I’m not going to wake up in the middle of the night, because a new ad flashed on and then get the sudden urge to buy whatever it is your app is selling, before going back to sleep.

Most of the other free clock apps turn off the ad banner after a few moments of inactivity. I have yet to see the ad banner in ClockZClockDisplayAlarm go off. It just keeps flashing new ads of different colors and brightness. Shut off the ad banners after 30 seconds of inactivity. On second thought, just keep on doing what you’re doing, because I’m deleting ClockZClockDisplayAlarm , so it will make no difference to me.

I had paid the rather pricey tag of $4.99 USD to remove advertisements only to have them appear after reinstallation after reinstallation.

I get that the developer wants to make money for their work, all artists do, but it should state clearly the price you pay works for maybe a couple minutes? It’s like some other review on here said.

Would like to send a message to the developer, but it requires a donation to do that. Maybe I’m a cheapskate or the developer or both of us, but something ain’t right here. Not pointing or naming any names, but why can’t people actually live their lives and do what they want to do without all the hassle?

I am an elderly low-vision person. The Apple clock in the upper right is too small to read, so I have set up Clock Z widget, simply swiping left to right for a large clock and day-date display. I have added a battery percent widget to this panel Clock Z should add that so I can eliminate the separate battery percent widget. I love the large print in the Clock Z display and widget display. In my mind, Clock Z is well worth the annual subscription cost. Thank you,

This is a big deal for us. If I see that my son is getting distracted from his work by watching the numbers count down, I have to put the phone to sleep. When I wake it after 5 min, it will have only counted down like 45 seconds. I was looking for a timer could switch orientations, which this one does. The numbers are big and bright, too. But it keeps time inconsistently when the phone is asleep. We can’t have that.

Multiple updates, and still the main feature missing, which is the ONLY reason I don’t go around recommending this, or pay for this, is:
No idea if the alarm is on from the main display! It really should be trivial to have some indicator that the alarm is on.

I'm updating my previous review... ClockZClockDisplayAlarm maker told me how to get rid of annoying blue "option" box. Now ClockZClockDisplayAlarm is as it should be. Thank you very much! The clock can be set to a very attractive minimalist display using the "Ultra" setting. Great app with a clean appearance. I appreciate the quick response. Keep up the good work!

Downloaded the new update and it was automatically on 24 hr time, can’t get it off this. I want regular time but haven’t been able to change it since the update. Please help!!!

I love this clock app. I use it especially at work to keep an eye on the time while running hearings and meetings. It's easy to use, easy to see, perfectly functional, accurate, and looks great. Have relied on it for a couple of years now. The best!

I love the clock so far. However, I use it as a bedside clock at night, and the light needs dimming. I also wish I could eliminate the seconds. Other than that, I’m happy.

UPDATE: Never mind. I tapped the + and there it was!

UPDATE: I do love ClockZClockDisplayAlarm, but I would never pay $10 for it.

An update was pushed out yesterday that essentially after March negates my purchase of an advertisement free clock. This is horrible customer service and should be charged so that those of us that paid for our advertisement free app should remain that way.

The developer has collected our money but now is changing the system. Something does not seem right.

I can not find the option to switch back to a 12 hour clock (with AM and PM). Would’ve given 5 stars, but because of this I’m dropping my rating to 3 stars because I do not want a 24 hour clock.

(edit: I am talking about the widget, not within ClockZClockDisplayAlarm itself.)

I like the clock. I love the simplicity. I looked under in-app purchases and thought I could do the one additional features I want: to remove ads for a fee. ClockZClockDisplayAlarm store seems to indicate that's possible, but apparently that is no longer an option.
For a good simple app, for those who don't want the bells and whistles, look elsewhere for one that only remove ads.

I got ClockZClockDisplayAlarm so I could time myself better and easier and I got that and so much more!!! Me and my daughter love ClockZClockDisplayAlarm so much and she will use this for as long as she can until she has to go to school. MUST BUYYY!!!!!!!!!

Needed a sleek, reliable but yet easy to deal with clock widget for my phone. Downloaded and deleted about 7-8 other clock widget apps before I stumbled across this one, and I could not be more satisfied. Thank you fellas! I’ll be checking out the rest of your apps.

(Also, note the fact that I’ve been an iPhone user since the SECOND model came out and this is the ONE AND ONLY review that I have ever submitted for any of the 1,000’s of apps I’ve probably downloaded)

I use this to keep track of time when I address an audience and there is no clock in the room. Big bright display that doesn't shut off.

Was a good app. Something happened (perhaps with IOS13 update) now only displays 24hr time and no option to change. Need a fix!!!!!

I got this hoping to replace my lock screen clock. So far I haven’t been able too. Is there secret for this middle age man he can’t figure out. Purchased the 99 cent thinking It would make it a wallpaper. Well I haven’t found it yet. Help if you can.

Clean, simple and easy to use. You know, like a clock should be. No useless horns and whistles and hasn't tried to sell me something I don't need. What else needs said?

Been using nearly a year. Happy, until now. I paid to have pop-up ads removed; they are back. Also, it switched to 24-hour time, which I don’t like. Please fix. Thanks.
