So I bought BedsideEM because I needed a good toxicology application. It is good don't take me wrong, it's just incomplete ...
What good is an app if I constantly need to use other apps because the developer did not bother to add enough info?
Comparing to similar apps in other regions this is worth 1 dollar and I'm being generous!
It is good if you have money to waste and live in the 90s when the medical knowledge was still limited.
Unless you add a lot more info this review will remain 1 star.

I used to love BedsideEM, and frequently referenced it on shift. However, ever since the update, I have lost all of my bookmarks and notes that I have written. Some of the categories I simply cannot find anymore since it was re-organized.
Mostly, it is very upsetting to have lost my personalized clinical notes that I have accumulated over the past 2 1/2 years.

I have been using BedsideEM since I was a resident and it was amazing. The new upgrade is trash. Missing the dental portion. I donโt like the new structure.

Despite the updates, BedsideEM still leaves much to be desired. Its limited content barely scratches the surface of common pathology seen in the ED and its overall design is not user friendly (not to mention the feces colored background). You have to know exactly what section information is located in and then you have to view the entire section to hunt for the one isolated piece of data you were looking for. It is a good attempt, but I would look elsewhere for a solid professional reference.

Need to add a settings button to enlarge the print

My experience lies in Para-medicine (9 years) and recently in nursing (class under my belt and waiting to test). With that in mind I found the information on this FREE app very useful. I jumped around a bit, looking to see what FREE will get you these days. The answer, plenty. Give it a look. I think you'll agree.

Important clinical info in a quickly available format (which is important!)

BedsideEM is a wonderful resource! I love it and I use it every time I work!

An excellent beginning to an app that can only get better with time. There is some excellent information in BedsideEM for ED residents, attendings, ED RNs, & mid-level practitioners. I am an ED nurse, with 12+ years of experience working in a Level I Trauma Center and I am also now a NP student. So, I can speak from experience and definitely say that I find this to be a well-thought out app. It is useful, practical & provides so much education - for FREE! Can't go wrong. I am anxious for the missing parts to be fixed/finished/updated, however. Great work, guys! Keep it up! I plan to show this to my colleagues for their use.

BedsideEM is amazing, not to mention that its really EM oriented. Great app thanks to the developers

Like any good medication, intervention, decision rule, or study simple and effective are the most effective. BedsideEM is straight-forward and has some of the most commonly-used and referenced items in the ED. While geared towards residents and students, I find useful stuff in BedsideEM all the time. It is not intended to be an all-encompassing reference nor does it pretend to be. Great for what it is -- a quick and easy to use reference.

Working in the ED requires rapid response and decision making. BedsideEM is a tremendous resource, easy to use, and thus far found to be very helpful. Bravo Zulu to the developers.

I've had BedsideEM for a while but just now went through it thoroughly. I'm very impressed! I love it and will never work a shift in the ED without it.

This is my new #1 go to app. Over the past 2 years I have made several quick reference lists with all the stuff that I found missing from other apps, but I don't need EM anymore. This one has everything in one place with a superior user interface and the best search ability by far!
You'll be able to quickly find everything from drip rates to PALS algorithms within second with minimal hunting and scrolling.
Also, everything in BedsideEM has the references/sources footnoted at the bottom of the page so you can easily quote or double check where you're getting your information.
This is BedsideEM to rule them all!

Great evolution of BedsideEM! Can't wait to start using it again. I can now recommend it to my colleagues not just residents. Keep it updated. It's one of the most useful bedside EM apps and I rarely use apps on the job anymore.

I have been using this for years, heard about it at one of the ACEP conferences. I typically use the decision rules which I feel that alone is worth BedsideEM let alone all the other bells and whistles which are great. My entire group uses it

This was a great app prior to the update but it is even better now. Has an incredible amount of content while excluding useless info. Also it is well organized so that information can be referenced quickly and, so that it is not overwhelming to the user.

I downloaded this during one of its earlier iteration and it was good then, but as a result of all the updates and response to feedback, it's gotten even better. It's on the very front screen of my iPhone since I use it that much. Absolute must-download for anyone in EM.
