I don’t understand why you need to create an account to use this.

App was great before but now it keeps logging me out, then when trying to log back in, it says my password is incorrect so I have reset it several times and it just keeps stating that my password is incorrect 🤦🏻‍♀️

PillEye needs you to sign up… no kidding. An image analysis app needs you to sign up and provide location data. Beyond absurd.

I work in a retail pharmacy and my coworkers and I lived and died by PillEye. We’ve recommended it to sooooo many ppl. But they just started limiting you to 10 pictures a day then force you to subscribe. I was using the pro version a year or so ago when it was $2-3 a month but $25? A MONTH? That is insane.

App does not work. Will not send email to verify email address. Unable to sign up or get past page since email will not send to verify.

The pro version was 30 dollars a year, and I wanted to support the developers of PillEye . I thought that was a reasonable price. Now they’ve jacked up the price to 300 dollars a year. Completely unreasonable especially when PillEye requires very good internet and doesn’t always work. I will be deleting PillEye and using something else.

Signed up. Which should have been my first red flag. Can’t log it. I’ve tried capitalizing the email like some reviews suggest. Still doesn’t work. Tried another email. Same thing! Still can’t get in.

I paid for the yearly subscription a few months ago and PillEye worked well. Then they decided to increase the subscription price and looks like they just voided out the subscription I already paid for. So I’m downgraded to the base level app which is slow and makes PillEye almost unusable. And now they’re charging over 20 dollars a month . I’ll look for other options.

I keep getting logged out. I’ve tried resetting my password multiple times and it still says something is incorrect. PillEye was great when I was able to use it.

Not sure why I have to create an account and give personal information, such as where I work. PillPhill allows you to start counting right away with out asking for any personal information. I needed to use a pill counter and the sign up process took too long so I deleted PillEye and downloaded PillPhill instead.

Sign up required. App states no data is collected. “Why is a sign up required?” I wondered as I uninstalled.

But now that it won’t allow me to login or create an new account even after deleting an redownloading, using different emails and having no troubleshooting team available to contact- I want to give it a fat one star b/c now they have my information and their product completely ceases to work.

Something is going on with this this app. It used 20gb in data this month and I don’t even use it that much. I’m a little freaked out about what kind of data it’s collecting and how it managed to use 20 gb of my data.

Was great (minus a few glitches here and there) until it started limiting the amount of counts that could be done. The fee for a subscription is ridiculously high per month and not worth it to me. Shame because I really liked PillEye and it made my life easier when doing inventory counts.

I loved PillEye, used it at work for a long time. It’s not always completely accurate but does a good job. Until now…it limits how many times it will count a day unless you buy a subscription. The subscription is TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS A MONTH for just 1 person, which is absolutely ridiculously expensive for an app. Super crazy, all my pharmacy associates and I will be using another app from now on, super unfortunate.

Requires a 5 to 8 seconds delay when opening app. This is while it loads, then connects to account, then transmits your data, then prepares Home Screen. It does not jump right to the camera to count. Counting is the only reason anyone tries PillEye . And PillEye only counts a few times before asking for money and blocking further use. No one needs to save counts in their phone or manage inventory in their phone. It is not going to save anyone’s life or job to keep pictures of counts, especially since PillEye is not compliant with any laws or workplace regulations. Anyone who wants a counting app should just get Med Counter, which loads and counts instantly, doesn’t require an account, doesn’t save patient data, doesn’t break the law.

I saw your response. “Ten counts” is insufficient for even 5 minutes of work. While you take 30 seconds to load, employees want to move to the next customer. You must are just too slow and limited.

PillEye is the most accurate I have found and very user friendly when it WORKS!!! The problem is it goes down often. This is a great app if they manage it and keep it operational

It counts well ,BUT it locks up and ceases to operate often .Has slowed down recently.
With the high price I expect this to be perfect.
Currently after it locked up I deleted and re downloaded and can not regain access.
Too bad it had great promise.

I’m sorry, a 25 dollar a month subscription to take photos and auto count pills is absolutely absurd. There’s a cap on how many photos you can take a day UNLESS you pay the 25 dollar subscription fee. That is 300 dollars a year for a AUTO-COUNTER 😭😭

I listen to music/podcast on my phone while doing inventory, and therefore, 100% of the time while using PillEye.

App update now stops Spotify audio. 5 stars once fixed. Will hand count for now.

Been using PillEye since the beginning when it was called Mediscount. Recently they implemented a paywall to use PillEye more than a couple times a day. It was accurate about 70% of the time. Would always have to double check the dots on the image to make sure it worked.

No way I would use as long as it records location data. Completely not needed.

They limited how many times you used it a day and then wanted $25 A MONTH! I really only use this for inventory purposes a few times a year and that’s crazy! I wouldn’t mind $25 for the year but for a month?! That’s ridiculous! I’ll be looking for something else before my next quarters inventory.

My coworkers and I loved using PillEye for over a year up until recently. After a couple pictures, it tells you you need to pay $25 to keep using PillEye . To go from nothing to that much of a fee is ridiculous.

This has been a very useful and time saving tool for me until I “upgraded” to iPhone 12. PillEye will not count the pills anymore! Maybe something to do with the camera? I have no idea, but it went fro extremely useful to extremely useless.

PillEye was better when it was called medicount. I just updated PillEye today to demonstrate to a colleague how it works. And every time I touch anywhere in PillEye , it freezes and won’t let me back out to the picture screen. I would have to close it from my background and reopen it.

I had been using this app for a few months before I was prompted to pay. I had no issue supporting the developers of a super useful app that comes in handy at the beginning of every one of my nursing shifts. And then I saw the cost. $25 a month for something that does one simple, albeit useful, task, in my opinion is laughable. I will not be paying this, I would consider paying that annually, even $40, annually, but $300?? Get over yourselves!

I have used PillEye for almost 2 years completely for free as a medical professional. I was ok with the change to being a paid service when I got the notification that a subscription is required for more than a certain amount of counts per day. I clicked on it fully intending to sign up and pay maybe $5ish per month to continue to use PillEye . I was absolutely shocked at the $25 per month fee. I will not be subscribing. I think a more affordable fee would bring a lot more subscribers. I will be looking for more affordable option that I can use more than a few counts per day.

PillEye is pretty accurate in counting . I like PillEye , but the price of $25 per month is, for me, a lot to pay . That is $300 per year ! I am sure they have their reason for charging this price , but it’s just too pricey for me . But good job by the developers in creating PillEye .

PillEye works well but I am disappointed by the subscription price per month. I hope the developers can lower the price or have an discounted annual plan which seems reasonable price not too expensive. $25 is a lot for per month.

It took many tries for me to realize that when you first sign up, the first letter of the email is capitalized automatically, and when you log in later it is case sensitive. If you are struggling to log in, try capitalizing the first letter of your email. Support team, change the case sensitivity for emails on login.

PillEye has helped me tremendously at my job with counting Clients medications. It’s brought my pill count time down from an hour and a half to 45 mins. PillEye is very accurate! I love that every pill that it counts it marks it on the screen with a green dot. You also can save the medication your counting for a back up reference. So if there is an error you can go back to PillEye for reference. I suggest anyone that has to count medications for their job to download PillEye cause it’s a life saver and time saver!

Finally got it to log in. Great app when it works.

I used to love PillEye - it was free and it did what it intended to do. Now PillEye requires a paid subscription if you would like to check a count more than 20 times per day. I do not plan on purchasing a subscription. It was fun while it lasted.

I had some issues with it working correctly at my place of employment . Works great at home. The developer has gone above and beyond to help me troubleshoot the problem .

It’s free (entirely not just for a stupid trial period)
It’s accurate (EVERY SINGLE TIME)
It’s super easy to use
It’s discrete
It doesn’t have ads
It gives you the option if you want to save the type of medicine you counted
It’s fast (counts pills in 3 seconds or less)

Love it. Period.

I have never known I would want something like this for my workplace in counting pills! With the simple instructions given, PillEye is extremely accurate in counting pills with just a snap of your phone. I highly recommend this to people who count pills on a daily basis. This can definitely be a game changer when it comes to inventory management. Kudos to the developer for doing such a phenomenal job. Cannot wait to see what he does next with PillEye.

I work as a CMA and PillEye is a LIFESAVER! It’s saved me so much time. Right now I have a bottle of narcs with 80 pills in it. Imagine having to count that twice a shift, every single day. And usually I’d have to count it 2 or even 3 times because I get lost. The count has always been correct when using PillEye and I’ve had no problems with it thus far. 10/10 would def recommend

Thank you for working with me on my issue with PillEye ! I was able to use all day and listen to my music without interruption! Pretty darned accurate with the counting of the pills!

I got recommended PillEye from one of my doctors since I’m always in a rush especially when counting the small pills that are a pain to count and PillEye is very accurate to manually counting from the amount of time I’ve used it. I would highly recommend PillEye since it hasn’t failed me yet😫

Made counting inventory so much easier at the hospital!! Very accurate. Make sure to use a solid background or will try to count the patterns as pills.

I been an pharmacist for over an year now and I love using PillEye to make sure all the tablets my techs were counting were accurate. It help me caught when my techs were off which was frequent.

I’m not sure why PillEye has a low rating, but it literally saved me HOURS of counting pills at my Veterinary clinic. It was accurate, easy to set up, and no issues whatsoever with loading pill counts or anything.

Asking me to pay $29 per month is ridiculous for what I used to pay $3 per month for,just to support PillEye . Money doesn’t grow on a tree.

This is the only one I’ve come across that didn’t require a ridiculous subscription fee. And it’s extremely accurate. Just make sure you’ve got a good amount of light and the background doesn’t match the pill color. Great app. Highly recommended.

Works really well and it’s easy to use . Wish they don’t have a limit on how many pics it takes

Been using for a couple years now and it’s been a great app and fully functional every time I’ve used it. Would recommend to anyone as it makes things easier.

Making medications at work is hard when you have adhd and you have to count 100+ pills. I tend to lose track, so I have to recount several times and it takes awhile, slowing everything down. With PillEye, I can actually be certain of how many pills there are so I don’t have to check an extra 5 times. It’s so much more efficient and takes the guesswork out of counting meds. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing app!! Stopped working after latest iOS update on iPhone 14 pro

No lie, if I had to pick only one app to ever use again, it would be this one. I can’t overstate how much time and effort this has saved me in my pharmacy, especially doing inventory. Easy to use, great design, and really helpful developers. Had a few issues getting PillEye to work and the team responded so quickly to my email despite being on the other side of the world from me. I can’t say enough good things about Mediscount and I seriously recommend it to every other pharmacy tech I know. 10/10.
