The content it does have is *alright*. The issue is that it has very very little content. The vast majority of phrases you'd use in everyday conversations aren't in here, even with the in-app purchases. Seriously disappointed that I bought this. I should have read the five star reviews more closely - they're very obviously not legit reviews.
Almost everything I needed to know while traveling required additional purchases. For what is offered in SpeakEasyFrench , it should be free. Totally overpriced for what is available.
Phrase categories are rudimentary and if you want anything more sophisticated you are invited to purchase add ons. I'm used to the come on with free apps, not the ones I paid for. Also, I didn't get too far before I got a pop up box inviting me to register for a free phrase a day. When I tried to register I got a lot of programming script and a message that I would have to try again later. I did. Same problem. But the message wouldn't leave the screen unless I rejected the "offer," so I couldn't get past the first basic phrases unless I declined.
A potentially really good app but not enough content. In the food category there are maybe 20 vegetables if that many. How more content is add as the flags cards are a terrific tool.
SpeakEasyFrench has several categories but limited options in each and no room to add more. This is for someone who would like to emulate speaking French but doesn’t want to take the time to learn the language.
Good organization of material and easy to use. Let’s you see the word or phrase, tap it to hear the correct pronunciation, and even favorite an item. Think you have an area down? You can test your recall/knowledge with the flash cards. A truly valuable app for beginners and even early intermediates.

Not only is this a phrasebook, but it has recordings of the phrases to help in pronunciation or to play when needed.
If you download one app before your flight to France, this should be it.
This helped me so much with my French for high school it's not much to pay for a good grade and has a good vocabulary selection to have a basic to intermediate conversation
I like that you can repeat the audio immediately and unlike some of the other language apps, it is well organized and easy to follow. Terrific job!
I’ve tried several language apps and I really like this one. The flash cards help me to retain words. It’s very easy to use and whenever I have a few minutes to kill, I can learn a few more words.
