Busuu is great I love the way it teaches you about grammar but on the conversation portion where there ate two people talking to each other, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE SAYING!! The conversations are way to complex and only include 1 or 2 words that you were taught. Also on some exercises I have the same problem it is just a sentence in complete French with no hints and 2 options, True or False. I don’t speak French. I am only on the bigger level and I am just left to guess True or False and that doesn’t help me learn anything. I bought the one year subscription and I hope you will fix this!

I like de app because is very practical. there was one app that I loved called mind snack the languages were thought with games very interactive, on this app i would like something like that, I mean learning in an environment that is not to serious.

This is a great app but one thing I hate about Busuu is that you have to pay why pay ? While in the crisis who should have given us free access not everyone can pay you know ! But please try to provide Busuu for free for everyone not everyone has money to pay so yeah that’s it while in the other hand this is great !

this app seems to be a great all around language learning app that covers vocabulary, grammar, and conversation. The placement test was a great introduction to get a feel for the style and format. Also The feature of getting exercises graded by native speakers is a nice bonus. Overall I look to continue using, and can recommend

Every time I start again I get weak words to review . I didn’t make mistakes on the words before and after that test I get another instead of being able to work on the next page where I left off the day before . It’s a pain and it’s easy to miss completing chapters that way

There is a lot to like about Busuu but it provides zero help on the screens when it’s quizzing you on a concept. For example, I’m having trouble with possessive adjectives; I don’t know when to use mon or ma, etc. I’m stuck and there is no reference that helps me to understand what I’m missing.

Out of so many language apps, this app is one of the better ones. Their method of teaching is quite effective. The exercises are a couple of levels above most apps. I frequently find the exercises to be challenging, but I’ve learned more as I wrestle with them.

I have tried several language learning apps and this app is my favorite, as its format most closely resembles a traditional educational approach. It is set up as a series of lessons, progressing from beginner to advanced.
If you already know a language but are looking to review it, this app offers a brief placement quiz to assess your current knowledge and suggest an appropriate starting point. Regardless of where you begin within the program or how far you advance, you always have access to previous lessons (including ones you "placed" out of) and can review them as many times as you like.
this app generates quizzes based on the lessons you complete - an important tool for reinforcing/reviewing what you have learned. There is a "Review" section that lists vocabulary you may need to study again and in-app notifications direct you to that section as necessary. The quizzes are offered in 2 formats: flashcards and writing, and you can select which you prefer for each quiz. You can retake the quiz a second time in the other format if desired.
Overall, an excellent tool for learning languages!

I think Busuu is great for learning practical grammar and vocabulary for a language. It is helpful to learn pronunciation, grammar, and conversation all in (level-appropriate) context. Enjoying a lot so far!

While waiting at home during quarantine, I decided to finally pick up my French lessons. Haven’t spoken it in years, but Busuu has definitely helped me remember my old high school French lessons. I very much appreciate the Social section where native French speakers help correct “everyday” French translations. I feel more confident in my ability to understand, speak, and respond in French and find myself looking forward to visiting France once the borders reopen.

I love that unlike Duolingo this app adds informal phrases into their lessons. It also helps they that allow you to set up a study plan which estimates how long it will take you to reach your goal. For instance I wish to get to B2 level and by the study plan I have set, I am estimated to reach it by October.

Love the algorithm that determines your level. I was able to start learning new words right away even though I’m already studying French. You also have a lot of control about what topics you learn, so the vocabulary is relevant. So far I like it very much

I like this app a lot! In three months I became fluent in French, the lessons are simple, all you gotta do is try and in no time you will speak the language you always wanted.
Nowadays most tv shows are doubled into any language, with that...you can see if you are really learning. Good luck.

I’ve tried other apps to learn different languages but so far this app is the best for me! I like how the content is divided, to have the opportunity to choose between written or oral exercise and the fact that evaluates your pronunciation! After I’m done with French for sure I’ll be perfecting my Portuguese

Very useful app for learning a language! I’m using it to supplement my learning of French alongside taking a college course in it. I think the apps features are much better if u pay to get the extra stuff, like talking to actual speakers of ur target language. They offered me 50% off for a year subscription, how could I say no :/

I have tried a large number of language learning apps and this app is, hands down, the best one. The skills test put me immediately into a challenging level. The lessons are appropriate and actually need thought and attention to complete. None of the other apps come close to this. Most of them are simple memorize and repeat. this app demands mental processing not just memorization.
Personally, I could do without the social interaction portion but I could see its appeal to other users.

I love Busuu because it teaches you in a way where it’s not just memorizing and remembering for 2 seconds and then you forget it, it way better than Duolingo-in my opinion-it’s amazing for all the things you can do for free! But I did pay for the year member-it was 50% off, how could I not!-you will NOT be disappointed! Busuu is definitely my favorite for learning new languages and I’d definitely recommend!
