Your’re not starting off well! I’ve just finished using WinmailViewer. for the first and only time and your’re already demanding a review before your let me shut down my own computer. Get a life! Don’t try and hold me hostage for using something I’ve already paid for. It makes me want to demand my money back and look for a reasonable substitute. Like buying a new car and after you’ve driven it for 5 miles it locks up and demands a completed marketing survey before it can be restarted.

I have Sonomo 14.1.1 installed and it doesn't integrate. I paid for the pro license for the integration. There is a msg suggested saying integration is coming but i suspect this msg has been present for a long time. The product works great other than the false adverstising inducing me to pay for the Pro version which has no benefit. I sent a letter to support but no one responded. It would be a 5 if the integration worked.

The thing I want in a program like this is that it just plain ol' works without me thinking about it. This program solves the problem I've had of PC users sending me attachments as dat files that I couldn't open on my Mac. Now I can. The developer even proactively reached out to me to see if I was having any issues. Pretty great customer service, I'd say.

This application has been such a huge help for me. I have certain business contacts whose email always corupts their attachments. This application works perfectly every time, and has saved me a lot of back and forth with these contacts.

I was a little skeptical when I downloade WinmailViewer but it has been fantastic! Works flawlessly every time and now I don't have to deal with the problem of opening PC files on my mac.

Ths app works automatically to open strange attachments, without me having to do any extra operations which waste my time and energy, and distract from my concentration. I recommend it without reservation.

This has saved me many, many times when I get winmail attachments from clients. A cardiac arrest event previously on my Mac. Now a non-issue. Open. Make clients happy. No one knows the diff. Cheap fix. Large checks keep coming. Happy clients, happy me. Thanks Letter Opener people.

I’ve been using Letter Opener for years. It takes those pesky WINDAT files and converts them to useable documents and you’ll forget you even have it.
Once installed it just works. No WINDAT is visible, just the documents attached.
Perfect.
Simple.

Periodically I get .dat files sent to me and WinmailViewer can open them directly in Apple's Mail App. It always works, it's simple and just works once installed. Kudos to the developer, this is how Apps are supposed to work, seamless and simple!

i have a Mac I and I couldn’t open any windat files.. Yes, I had to pay the fee to get the full version, but its worth every penny and it wasn’t that spendy. My only beef is that I cant open on my iPhone unless i go through a few screens. Its awesome the ipad version works good too..

This software just works. I don't need it often, but when I do, it's only a double-click away. I don't even have to explcitly launch the software and mess around with saving or moving files. It does everything in the background, elegantly and on-demand!

I just converted to a Mac after a decade of having to use a PC at work. With that, I have hundreds upon hundreds of emails saved in .msg format. Since Outlook for Mac doesn't open .msg I had to find a tool. After trying a dozen or so, this one definately works the best. It's simple to ease and pretty cheap for what it does!

I like that WinmailViewer just works. I don't have time to waste on an app that only works part of the time. I only have two PC users that send emails in .dat file format, at least now I can unscramble them to read properly.

I used letter opener quite often but it seems like something got borked in this latest update to macOS 12.1. When I launch WinmailViewer it says its damanged and needs to be re downloaded from WinmailViewer store. So i did that and its still damaged?

I need to open Outlook emails with Mac Mail. I can do this transparently with WinmailViewer. I forget I have it sometimes. Works perfectly, but I am sometimes annoyed with the request to rate WinmailViewer . This is NOT the developer’s fault, but a problem with the Apple App Store, so don’t downvote WinmailViewer because of that.

I just want to get to read the email, not figure out how to manage a program and do a lot of work to get it to work. This program just opens up the email and I go on with the other details of my day!

this application works great. i often get attachments from PC users in that dat format I can’t open/read on my mac - this solves that problem like a charm. it was easy and fast to install. also you aren’t taken to another screen to open attachments; it’s seamless—you just click on it and it opens.

I had some files deleted from my macbook pro that prevented me from reading older .msg files from a dear friend in US Navy, who is no longer with us.
Apple Sr Tech Support - helped me to locate your App Letter Opener, and it worked. I have tears of
joy to be able to read precious messages I thought were lost

Letter Opener Gets My Vote for being a great program. I have used it almost every day for the past 3 years and have not had any problems. I receive pdf & other files all day long from window users & have never had a problem opening the files. I highly recommend it!
