Up until the IOS 15 upgrade I would have given PasswordManageriPassSafe 5 stars. But, IOS 15 wiped PasswordManageriPassSafe out!! Literally, after IOS 15 PasswordManageriPassSafe behaves like I just Installed it with zero passwords, photos etc. ALL of my personal and business passwords, over 200, are gone as well as ALL the irreplaceable photos in the photo bank. I have sent 4 emails to support asking for help without response. I also purchased a recovery program and went to a professional data recovery company; neither could recover the missing passwords and photos. It appears the company has abandoned PasswordManageriPassSafe!! So my advice, learned from sad experience, is to stay away from, in fact run from, PasswordManageriPassSafe!!

I’ve used PasswordManageriPassSafe now for several years and had input an enormous amount of data. About a month ago, PasswordManageriPassSafe indicated it had updated and asked for me to log back in. When I did, all of my data was gone. I have attempted email contact several times and have yet to receive a response. I would not trust PasswordManageriPassSafe at all; it has proven to be unreliable. I looked online for answers and found where other users have experienced the same issue and have not received any feedback from the developer. I would encourage users to shop for another trustworthy app.

Been using for over 4 yrs One day was forced to change my password in order to continue using and everything was gone. No help from dev despite numerous attempts to contact thru support. Your support page info doesn’t help me. I have my password. I have my IDB file. I made my backups all along. It’s there just can’t access it now. It’s a great concept but doesn’t seem to work when you need it. All you people who think it’s great now you just wait it will happen to you eventually. My advice is to keep a hard copy backup of all your passwords in a notebook. Kinda defeats the purpose I know.

Because iPass ignores the time interval that I set for it to stay open, it os extremely difficult to impossibls to efficiently edit items that are stored on the iPhone app.

You cannot protect against every risks. If the customer has assumed the risk of iPass staying open for a specific interval of time, it should not close until that time interval has expired, no matter what else the customer is doing on his iPhone, such as going to another app to cut and paste information from that app to iPass.

I can’t believe that you use your own app, iPass, and haven’t been similarly frustrated and infuriated by this flaw. Either simply remove the ability to set a time interval during which iPass eill remain open or have iPass honor the set time interval.

Normally I don't get hung up on grammar errors and misuse of technical terms. Unfortunately as a cyber security expert these are known red flags in our field. Im not saying this is malware or spyware but when i come to security of vital passwords I expect absolute perfection from a security product. I deleted it and hope the QA team spends more time on these small details which represent the level of quality of a product that needs to withstand the highest levels of scrutiny. Thanks

When you consult a dictionary, what would be more logical and convenient, to look for a word alphabetically, or by the date it was introduced? Please, put back alphabetical order as a permanent option to look for favorite web sites. It’s annoying to have to change the order every time because chronology is the default option.

Used PasswordManageriPassSafe all the time. Last year it became unstable and deleted all data multiple times. Even with backups lost some data each time due to changes since last backup. Sync via airdrop no longer works. It used to be a smooth process, but now ipasssafe no longer imports the .idb file, and saves it into the iOS file folder instead. Can’t figure out a way to get ipasssafe to open the .idb file once it is saved in the file folder. Want to rate this much higher but can’t until this is fixed or a another way of syncing iOS devices is implemented.

Personally I thought this was going to be the password application that I would be using but after testing it for about a week I noticed some much needed features.
For example:

1. When trying to copy the application won’t allow you to paste.

2. When importing from safari it does add the website to iPass but the application puts it in the category of website and you can not edit it to put it in another category.

3. The Face ID feature does not recognize your face.

Overall this application is just basic, like every other application out there.

PasswordManageriPassSafe is excellent but recent backup options ( no Dropbox) and no way to force a backup has made me change to another app. I am very upset that this turned out to be not dependable. I used it for years. If you lose your backup and PasswordManageriPassSafe resets itself( doing this for past year) you are cooked. At least with Dropbox you could protect your back up. Try doing that in iCloud. Try finding the backup.

Great app. I use it very often. Would hate to try and organize my passwords without it.
I wish it would alphabetize the entries though. As a new entry is created, it goes to the bottom of the list. That causes me to have to scroll through fifty or so entries to find the one I want.

Sorting was stuck at “chronological” prior to the most recent release this has now been fixed. It took way too long.

The support page has a "Send us a message" form, but it does not appear to work (the captcha does not load and when you submit the form, it gives no clear feedback as to if it was actually submitted or not, but I assume not since you cannot fill in the captcha field due to it not loading). So I will continue to use my review as a bug report.

Speech to text bug: as you speak it fills in the field word by word, then after you are done speaking it repeats the entire text that you had just spoken again, leaving it with the sentence you just spoke being repeated.

The automatic backup to iCloud is named the same as your active database which makes it confusing to know how to restore that backup. Do you just tap on the iCloud download icon next to the back up and you are done? Or do you need to activate it in someway?

I've used PasswordManageriPassSafe for over a year now and love that it is convenient to use while still providing a sense of security about my information. If I could change anything, I would improve the way data is entered, but admittedly I'm spoiled on that front with other Apple interfaces. That said, it's easy to setup and use, makes finding information quick and I'm very satisfied with the product.

The software is easy to use and with the touch entry it’s a snap to access passwords and urls. I’ve been using password safe software for about 10 years and find this software to beat one of the best.

I could have rated 4 stars, but PasswordManageriPassSafe
Needs to sort the data in the table
for example: after a new entry entered by user and added to current list then the new entry appears at the bottom of the table, eventually after few hundreds of new entry, user might find it's difficult to find the entry unless the data in the table is sorted alphabeticallly

It isn't as easy to use as the Blackberry free app, but its ok. Wish you could search for a particular password, instead of scrolling up or down each time. I used Blackberry's password keeper forever, but PasswordManageriPassSafe is close and I especially like the fact that the data is backed up to Dropbox for safe keeping.

Just updated PasswordManageriPassSafe that I’ve had for a couple years. I can no longer print, it doesn’t stay in alphabetical order when opening it you have to manually place it back from chronological order every time. Great app until the update. Please fix!!!

Used PasswordManageriPassSafe for years. It’s done a fantastic job password even when upgrading to a new phone. Nothing was lost.
Recommend to developer - is there a way to change the set titles installed by PasswordManageriPassSafe ?

Love PasswordManageriPassSafe , helps me keep all of my personal recorded in order and secured as well. It links with Dropbox to help keep updates simple and safe. I would recommend PasswordManageriPassSafe to all, I've been using for over 2 years.

The is an excellent password app! They are often adding new features. I've been using it for years. Stopped using all others.

I asked the developer for a new feature and he added it very next release. He must have thought it was a good idea.

Found it difficult to get some of the web site to open from PasswordManageriPassSafe but I think it may be the web site and not PasswordManageriPassSafe as most work

I’ve used PasswordManageriPassSafe for several years and it has saved me many times with easily finding user names, passwords, etc. for the dozens of apps, cards and websites I use. Simple, secure and convenient.
