KLCC Public Radio App Reviews

I like listening to NPR and KLCC programming but the dialogue / recording will repeat itself for a few seconds almost every minute. I’ve deleted and reinstalled KLCCPublicRadioApp but to no avail. Irritating.

Picks up broadcast where it was when I exited KLCCPublicRadioApp a day or two before. Often takes several minutes to catch up to the live broadcast. For example, today is Tuesday, but when I turned it on this morning, it was still playing Sundays broadcast for at least five minutes.

When it works it’s terrific but then you can have a couple of days in a row where it’s so glitchy and frustrating.

KLCCPublicRadioApp has been glitchy lately. Randomly skipping around within a program, or repeating segments. Additionally, when I turn on the steam, it resumes where I left off, even if that was the previous day

KLCCPublicRadioApp is a good way to stream KLCC’s programming. It’s also good for reading or listening to local, state news. But it is glitchy!! It drops the stream fairly often and just sometimes doesn’t work-no audio. I just delete and re-install and all’s well but I shouldn’t have to do that. If I don’t have time for that I just switch to the OPB app or another NPR app. Luckily, I’ve got choices, but’s frustrating. I really like KLCC’s programming.

Now a year later, my comments remain the same. Love having it as that makes KLCC available almost anywhere, but it remains glitchy. Same problems.

As many others have said, this is one of the best public radio apps. And I do run into audio feed problems at times, so if I want to listen to KLCC for quite a long time, I still use “old school” radio at 91.7.

Quality news, quality app. I have apps from 3 different npr stations. The klcc app is the best. Easy navigation, access to on air or past programs and local news.

KLCC is my prederred station but the reception at my house is not so hot. KLCCPublicRadioApp is the perfect solution - easy and not at all glitchy. Thanks

KLCCPublicRadioApp is well done! Far better results streaming KLCC than poor radio reception in Lincoln City! Keep up the high quality of all you do.

I can keep track of home music, news and information when I’m elsewhere. Plus the layout is great!

I listen to KLCC/KLCO every single morning. It is amazing how NPR is so on top of the news. Often I will hear things on NPR that aren’t reported for days on other news networks. It is fair, intelligent, and presented well. And KLCC/KLCO is right on top of reporting local items, and by “local” they cover most of Oregon…It’s a great station!

The KLCC app always works, without interruption, unlike other radio station apps I have used. I like being able to listen when I am out of range of the radio signal.

KLCCPublicRadioApp just works! Live streams don't buffer or fail. Lots of shows available on demand. I like the local touch. I also have the WBAA app for news back in Indiana.

Having left KLCC’s radio listening area I love being able to hear west coast time zone programing from my east coast time zone. App seems flawless from my vantage point!! Specific to KLCC programing five stars to Brian Bull in particular and all of stations news programming.

So nice to be able to take OPB/NPR with me outside of the car. It’s also super convenient to be able to finish the stories and interviews that I have to cut short when getting to work. Thank you. Thank you! THANK YOU!!

I have never seen a radio app that features links to local and regional stories as this one; or lists all NPR programs you can just click and listen to; or Morning Edition and All Things Considered stories available on demand.

Great app for listening. Kind of the nature of the beast but it is difficult to read everything going on with all of the information on episodes but that is also beneficial as well. I use it all the time.

This is a great app because unlike the national apps it actually has local news stories displayed on a page in KLCCPublicRadioApp . I don’t think you’ll find that anywhere else. And I find it easier to locate what I want then the other NPR apps.
