Only works when iPad unlocked

Love the concept but it has stopped working properly. It shuts off every time my iPad screen locks. I have restarted, deleted and re-installed multiple times but it still shuts off. I don’t want my screen open.

CarPlay Support Removed

Why did the new version remove CarPlay support!?! That was a key feature.

needs work for iPad

The basic functionality works fine, but it’s phone-oriented. It doesn’t seem to work in background in iPadOS 14, and it doesn’t switch to landscape mode when you tilt the iPad that way. In other words, you can’t use HPM as background music while you continue to use the iPad for other things.

Quite useful, but a little annoying

HoustonPublicMedia has worked well for years. I am not sure what the upgrades have done, but now, every time you open it, it claims to have to be updated. So it takes you through HoustonPublicMedia Store where you end up selecting open. Why? Please fix the encoding! Thanks.

Needs a few improvements

Use this daily but needs two improvements:
1) should turn for landscape view
2) requires update almost every time I launch. Not sure why as it only opens App Store but doesn’t have to download a lot.
