Whenever I type to edit, it doesn’t respond. A tap to delete responds, but not typing.

Running latest version and Pack Mode won’t display items to be packed when selecting any of the Categories in the Pack List.
Currently useless.

Don’t know what the idea was behind the redesign. Used to be useful. Not anymore.

Not very useful and is difficult to navigate. Don’t bother wit it. Not worth space it uses.

I have updated PackTheBag and still not able to see what I need to pack

This does not have the replanned list of items for you to check off. I like having the pre-made list then I don’t have to think about it. Trying to create categories and then input what I need to take is way more work than I want to do. Unless you have tome to sit and create your categories and then your list I wouldn’t bother. I’m deleting PackTheBag from my phone.

I don't know what happened to PackTheBag since the last time I used it, but it is now close to useless. I've built packing lists for trips we take regularly. I used to be able to clear the check marks, but now there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I loved PackTheBag, but they have severely diminished its functionality.

Love PackTheBag. My family and I travel on vacation twice a year and I'm able to create lists per person. It's a bit wieldy to maneuver through but the pros outweigh the cons.

I would like to see the ability to create default lists so we can dupe them and tweak for each trip. Maybe there's a way to do just that but perhaps I haven't found it. Probably due to wieldiness of maneuverability. Maybe also have a subsection of PackTheBag called Load The Car.

Since the last update, I had to change my review to three stars. Unable to add items unless you close PackTheBag and restart. Seems very clunky now.

My wife and I travel a couple times a year for vacation and this little app really helps when we, I mean, I'm feverishly packing my bag last minute. I like the fact that you can add and edit pre populated items within PackTheBag . We used to use a paper checklist but PackTheBag has done away with that. It's also nice to see how many more days until our next vacation (I use the previous pack list as a template.). Just a few updates since installing which means it's very stable. I highly recommend!

Really helpful but as a user the details of a clothing is into enough for me if you could add a photo part would be great

Paid for it...expect to see bugs fixed, e.g. difficult at best to add an Inventory Category. But once you learn how to use it, it’s a great app

PackTheBag seemed to work reasonably well, but the pop-up ads were just too much for me. I don't need to be distracted in the middle of my flow of thought while packing- I'll just go back to paper if I have to! I'll find something I can pay for that doesn't have ads.

I've used PackTheBag for a dozen or more trips and found it to be pretty good. I find it works best when you are doing the same kind of travel over and over - It is cumbersome to get your lists in order, but once you have input the array of things you usually take, it is very easy to adjust it for an individual trip. I you are going skiing this weekend and surfing next month and travelling to India after that, it's probably not PackTheBag for you. We travel out of town with a small child at least once a month, and it works really well for us. In 13 trips this year, I have very rarely been without something I needed.

One great advantage of using PackTheBag is actually when we are packing to go home. When your initial pack list is comprehensive, you can just use it again to re-pack. I hardly ever leave anything behind now.

A simple and elegant app- very helpful to me in mapping out what i need to do before my trip. There are nice design choices. I am enjoying using PackTheBag.

The free features and ease of use on this packing list app surpasses any other free packing app that I've tried. It is just superb. Highly recommend!

My favorite app for various check list of items if I am going out.

I love PackTheBag! I am much more organized on trips because of it. I wish it would automatically save to both my devices, though.

I deleted PackTheBag as it no longer worked but am happy to report it has been updated and is even better than ever. Much easier to switch between planning and packing than it was. Thank you!

Updated review: This a fantastic app for packing, the best I've found. Particularly like the storage location feature so I don't forget anything at my office, for example, and have to go back for it. Item count is particularly useful. When I repeat a trip I edit the counts & neither run out of anything or over pack. I also use PackTheBag in reverse to repack before I go home so nothing is left behind. The best packing list just got even better with several new features including the requested confirmation dialogue before being able to delete an entire list.

Although only you know what exactly you need to pack in your bag, PackTheBag does a pretty good job compiling a list of typical things you would take depending on what type trip you're doing: beach ski trip, camping etc. I find it very useful as a starting point to make sure I bring the basics and then of course PackTheBag lets you add the specific items that you yourself want to travel with. Kudos to PackTheBag for also including a checklist of things typically one wants to take care of before they leave on a trip. I've had PackTheBag for several years and I really can't think of what they could do to improve upon it.

I’ve evaluated a few packing apps and this one is pretty good (I paid to remove the adds). One of the features I was looking for was the ability to identify quantity, which this has, and for my long trips, a way to identify quantity used (to know quantity remaining), which PackTheBag does nit have but I use a work around. A few enhancements I’s like to see:
1) persistent access to search - such a basic feature to have when working with lists! if i’m looking for an item to pack, you have to navigate to filters, then search. should just be at the top of the list or accessible by pull-down
2) notes, for items (or even at the category level), i’d like to add notes to the item being packed. For example, Money - how much to bring based on a budget for the day, or if i’m packing shoes, a note about which outfit to pair.
3) better export formatting - i prefer a list with category header, and checkbox for the items. the current format tries to emulate that, but i don’t find it as user friendly as a simpler list display would be. exported text should be easy to use
