AFN Europe Reviews

Ever since the last update the words and music symbol and such are almost invisible.
It also shuts off a lot when I’m using WiFi. I don’t like that I have to completely close AFNEurope when it stops playing to start the music again. Love the concept but it’s not user friendly as I think it should be.

I also tried to reach out to the developer to report the problems but “server not found” is all I can get....

I like being able to choose my genre of music. Can’t give it a 5 because often when I play AFNEurope it will freeze after 30 minutes. I have to get out of AFNEurope and start over and it works again.

App has gotten a lot better. Under the exchange rates section, can you expand it to reflect all NATO countries that don't use the euro, such as Romania, etc.

Most accurate weather forecasting I have found. Thanks. As with most apps there are a few quirks, but in the end it all works out. Keep up the good work.

I only use AFNEurope for the tv schedule. I have not been able to figure out a way to search. That is a vital feature for any schedule app. It also would only work for me through a vpn. If I’m on local foreign isp, all I get is a blank page.

When it works, it works good. Unfortunately it only works part time. Could be the virus syndrome. Changing time zone does not work at all. The TV schedule may come up once in a while, but usually it changes time zones at random . I live in Germany an do depend on AFN for news and other information, but the schedule app needs work.

I think the AFN 360 Radio portion may be improved if it were easier to identify the station you would like to tune into. The scroll at the top is almost invisible. A simple drop down menu would even be better. Other than that small issue, it is a great app.

Please fix AFNEurope so that when you click on a title to view its content, it makes it possible to return to the listing instead of the main app page. Also tv schedule does not work on the iPad app

I try to use AFNEurope for the AFN Schedule, but it almost never works, I just get a blank page. It also won’t let me use AFN Radio at all - we’re not in a country that has a DoD installation, so I’ve tried all regions that make sense for our duty station, but all I get is that it cannot be played in my region.

No TV shows are displayed on the Europe schedule no for a couple of weeks.

It’s works 95% of the time. when it’s down, they try to fix it in a timely manner

It’s a hit or miss with AFNEurope. Most of the time the radio portion doesn’t work, even when I try different AFN military installations’ locations. Twice this week it’s been a miss.

Really good easy to navigate app provides a lot of information needed for daily activities in Europe.

When I start AFNEurope , it comes up with the 'cannot connect to the internet' page even though I am. What gives?

Aside: when I click on AFNEurope support link I get a 'server not found' message.

The new version loads much more quickly - many thanks for taking care of that! My only suggested improvement, for a future update, is to move the "Traffic" screen up so that it's in the top half of the choices (rather than the last one). Typically, folks use the Traffic screen more frequently than the Decoder Guide, Radio Frequency, or FAQs. Just food for thought.
