Can’t dial out, it just keeps dialing my this app number and I get my voicemail. It’s always been a crummy app, now it’s completely useless.

Actually, this app does not let you "make and receive calls". I've gotten 15 emails from their "support" saying to "try this", or "try that" and it still won't make calls. What good is a phone that only receives calls but can't make calls? You shouldn't have to spend hours trying to tweak things. An app should work, and this one does NOT!

I have been a long time use of this app for more than 10 years but today I just discovered for the first time that the entire company, staff technicians, etc. has complete unrestricted access to all of your messages, passwords, images. This to me is shocking but perhaps we now are living in a world with no expectation of privacy. But I am wondering if this is even legal. ????

Prevents you from resetting your password so it’s totally useless when your traveling and can’t get to your desktop to find your password. It’s a crummy interface that has mic issues. After a few calls no one can hear you. You have to turn your phone off and on again to get Vumber to work. That gets annoying if you have to do it every 15 minutes.

I had a simple question... Why do I get "unauthorized" in the upper left corner, next to my name on the keypad. There is no phone support number to call with technical questions. Their FAQ section is pathetic... And I have sent 3 emails to their "technical support". I got one response asking if I was using Vumber on my phone. DUH!!! Of course I am using it on my phone. They are no help... And I still don't have an answer to my simple question.

I like the service and the options with it, it the darn app keeps crashing, I’ve tried 3 different phones including an iPhone-13 Pro Max brand new out the box! iOS 16…. I am about to cancel my service and go with someone else that has a stable app!

It takes you directly to a sign in when you don’t even have an account to sign into yet. So it’s useless.

Not recommend, Vumber keeps crashing and loosing calls plus a lot of hidden fees. I regret using it, just waste of money and time

I have sprint, iphone and this app. All good for biz in different cities having local #s. UNTIL I INSTALLED APP ON MY IPHONE. VoIP and 3G caused all 19 calls to ghost. Lost all biz for 3 straight days. Tech support like eBay, good luck! Emails emails and wait. Uninstalled app and problems continue. Still not sending any calls to my registered phones. Way too confusing. this app says Oh yeah we got some problems. Cool. Stay away for
Vumber on your phone. Use computer and sign up. Lack of customer service means stay away.

Do not use this service if you need a reliable number. Service outages, limited customer service hours, and account management issues make this service an unsuitable choice for anyone needing a long-term number.

My old voicemail messages keep showing up labeled “today.” I emailed the company about the problem and the response was that they needed more information. All they had to do was look at my account. It’s brand new. I still haven’t been able to get the text messages to work.
Not very happy. Should have stayed with 8x8.

Every time I try and load the last number it spools. Over and over. I reported that, I deleted and reloaded Vumber but no fixes. Call customer service and got attitude.
Not happy about that. Voice mail works well

This has good potential. However, it's just not worth it for me.
Security is what I want, this would be great if it where 256 AES on both the VOIP & Text or at least it had an on off choice for it.

The only thing I would have to say is make a better iPhone app. Don't give us 300 minutes to play with for just 14 days and thats it, plus its a free app. Don't give people a free app, then expect them to want to pay for the service later. Make a free trial app and also have a paid version of Vumber so the person can test it and then download the paid version. If you do decide to make a paid version in Vumber Store, then that should be the only payment since it had to be bought. It shouldn't be an app that has continuous payments. Monthly payments, yearly payments, etc. Thats a waste of TIME & MONEY, and no one is going to want that. If we wanted another phone company we wouldn't have wasted our time downloading it.

So as far as making and receiving calls, this app has worked really well. No complaints there. It’s the IPhone app that’s the problem. The overall aesthetics are dated and bland, it looks like something coded from 2008. You also can’t search within the SMS’s with is a bit mind boggling to me. If you want to find that text you sent to “Nancy” who you met at the networking event last month, good luck! You’ll have to manually just go digging through your text hoping you find it. Also pictures and links don’t work, just straight text allowed. I would LOVE the service if Vumber looked better/more modern, you could send pics and I could search!

Great for getting a second number for putting in a classified ad, etc. I created an account in their website and logged into Vumber with my email and password. Worked fine, not sure what the 1 star reviews are all about. I just pushes no on access to contacts pop up, but I think it just uses those for your this app contacts if you want to have them in Vumber .

FYI in order to place or receive calls you have to go to settings/preferences/ look for the section that says prefer wifi -wifi only-or prefer 3G/wifi voice and select that one to get you calls it does use data from plan package if u don't then u can only text

this app is improvised more recent days.
