I tried to search through the I-20 exits but everytime I do it, it gives it me an error! what should I do?

I have been using I-Exit for years and suddenly I tried this morning to figure out a motel for my intended stopping point for the night and it won't take me past the border of the state I'm currently in. This is the first time I've had this limitation. Usually I can figure a place 600 miles away for instance but taking me from eastern Illinois to the Mississippi River isn't working for me. Do I have to upgrade or do something special now? Is the ap changed?
