What is AboutTime?
The AboutTime field clock is a mobile time and attendance solution that allows remote processing of IN/OUT time punches for 10 employees up to thousands of employees in small to large enterprise-level organizations. It has many management and productivity tools built-in that help bring accountability, security, and transparency to the remote work environment. The app requires a device license from About Time Technologies before it can be used with the system.

Perfect!
It is getting some use to. It works great! Most people think that AboutTime don’t work because when you try syncing it won’t sync. Most of the time it’s either no service or your battery life is lower than 15%. But, there is a solution for not having service. You may clock in or out as usual without syncing. Once you arrive to an area with service or at home, you may sync it. By doing so, it will send all your time records to your office or app manager. We have over 200 employees using it. Any issues we had has been resolved with simple explanations. Though we found out that if you use a certain phone carrier, it won’t work. I’m still unsure of, why? But I will NOT say which one due to not wanting any problems. Overall we are satisfied!

Not happy with latest update
AboutTime was working great until the last update. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. When I clock in, the green and red buttons at the bottom of the screen are not are oversized and have a hard time clicking on them. Please fix.

Unimpressed
AboutTime cannot chew gum and walk! It’s really limited and not user friendly. Users can’t verify if a punch went through which creates a whole myriad of problems, complaints, bad feelings, with a morale+productivity crushing experience to be had by all from the suits at the top on down to the workers in the field. About Time is word up because It’s ABOUT TIME this mess is upgraded to serve the demands of the 21st Century Workplace. That’s what time it is, for sure.

No way to leave a note when clocking out
You can leave a note when clocking in BUT not when clocking out. I mean, why would it be like that?? Clocking in happens BEFORE anything happens that would be more worthy. Web clock notes only appear the day after syncing. After using it a few years now it definitely shows why it has a 2 star rating.

Not a good app
Crashing, freezing, lagging, generally not operating well is what you get from this app. Would be a great program if it worked.

Is constantly going down
App is great when it’s working. Quick and easy to use. Unfortunately it routinely stops working. Cant sync, get error when logging on. This is a weekly occurrence.

Would never use it if I didn’t have to for work. Never works. Even if it did work half the time the process is way too time consuming for 2019.

Please don’t waste your time/money on this horribly broken program. It takes me 2 hours a week to process time for 13 people! What a joke.

AboutTime is horrible. Shouldn’t have to sync. Can’t see the time for the week. We’ve used 3 apps now for time. This is the worst one yet.

Not worth the price tag
We've been trying to work with this company for a couple of months now, and it has been a frustrating experience. Having said that, we aren't giving up yet because of the amount of money invested. I also know there is a learning curve with new software, but I want to pull my hair out. BTW, I'm very techy savvy. There had been nonstop issues to overcome and most of our field staff can't log in currently. If field staff can't log in, then what is the point of having this expensive program. The concept is good, but bad execution. If I'm impressed at later time, I will post my change of heart.

Biz Tool
The new update is awesome. We deployed FormsXpress and I am able to take videos, record voice notes and a bunch more on my projects & attach to digital forms. Our foremen are keeping accurate time and don't have to fill out time cards anymore. It pulls & sends the data to Spectrum also. Good, good stuff

Moving on!!!
I have invested a few thousands with this company in the past 3-4years. From palm pilots to IPhones and Itouches. I'm looking on. Every one of the techs tell you something different and act like I'm the only one having problems. My wife is now calling all ten of our employees asking for there time from last week. Now how would you like for your boss to be guessing at your paycheck??

Not up to speed.
AboutTime is great because it works for most companies, and you can put many many employees on it clocking in and out with new or old phones. The problem is it does not work quickly. And has many issues syncing daily. Regardless of phone type, or service availability.

Really?
iPhone version crashes when syncing. Don't ever take more than a couple job photos, you will regret it. The interface seems to be a design from the 1980s, horrible and unintuitive in every way. My best guess is that this is a port from another platform since every interface guideline was ignored.
