Amharic Bible Reviews

I bought AmharicBible 2 years ago and was expensive. Now when open AmharicBible what comes first is advertisement after advertisement. It is very annoying!

Found out the software crashing while opening Psalms 15, 24, 135... Please update with other issues and provide an update soon. Give this a priority to fix, please!!

WOW!! This is not cool.
What a decline/disgrace. The reading of the WORD was supposed to be without any distraction. Instead, you are making it to be like 'rkash' any other newspaper. It is not a good 'update' app.
Read the Word or your advertisement?

Sorry, unless we see it updated to its previous state, it is to be un installed.
This is not an individual's opinion. Many of us loved using it though there is a lot of mistakes to fix.

Hope this falls on a responsive heart.

Still didn't see any change from the previous update.
This update has affected the opening of the book after closing for a moment. It always reverts/goes back to Genesis 1.

Here it goes again, besides a good work, the update has corrupted the way of changing from book to book.

It is just a brief note to say I would like to appreciate and encourage you about your effort that you have done to develop this application which would be very helpfully of getting the Amharic Bible simply in everybody's hand. However along with all the efforts and time you spend to develop it, you need to give a little more attention to check if every chapter is in a full version of it; since there are some few missing and not full chapters. For instance check Jeremiah 1 and 2 chapters. And try to add some more features to make it more convenient. Other than that, I really appreciate and would like to say God bless You!

Appreciate taking the effort but it really needs attention. There are missing chapters, verses and misplaced verses … honestly I’m thankful that I have Amharic Bible on my iPad but I don’t trust it much.
Especially Bible; I has to be done very carefully it is the word of GOD!
The other problem is the front page is misleading ….the Bible is older version and you put the cover of new version… it’s not that I have problem with the older version but it is misleading.

But There is this minor issue for an iphone 5users...the title bar isn't at the top anymore, it is at 1/3rd of the page and it makes reading a bit difficult. Can you please look at that!

Just FYI this is not the Ethiopian orthodox bible meaning it's missing books, it's like the Protestant bible. I applaud the software developers for taking on such a project but I was disappointed that it's not complete, now I am worried about the accuracy of the wordings. Please describe to others that it's not an Orthodox Bible, and who the translators are, when it comes to Holy scripture, references are a must, the more information, the less people will be disappointed.

These errors have not been updated since the initial release in 2010. It is very poor business ethic not only to sell unedited product, but also to not care about your clients comments and put an effort to fix the errors. In some cases the book starts half way, verses missing in the middle or more than half the book at end missing. I will never recommend any one to buy this product. Sad!

I was so delighted when I first saw in apps and took action to have it. Though I personally admire you for making it handy ,there are lots of missing verses and mismatch word from the original bible. Please try to review it and take immediate action as this is the word of the Lord or try to be specific as to the version of the bible so that it won't be misleading to the Ethiopian Orthodox parishioners like me.

It is great job on updating. The missed verses are in place and a better resolution on the clarity of the verses. Thank you so much and keep up the good works. I recommend also for the others to have it so that they can read the Bible wherever they are.

It's worth an effort to have us an Amharic Bible Application on our IPods, IPads and IPhones. I hope you'll take your time to update it and make some corrections. Keep it up and go the extra miles!

This is a version of the so called the Emperors Bible. A translation commissioned by the late Emperor Haile Selassie. It only contains the 66 books of the Protestant canon. The original translation has all 81 books of the Orthodox canon. It is missing some chapters and versus. AmharicBible developer should have done some testing.

Seriously you guys put ads in the Bible after people buy it? This is sad really. Nobody wants to see candy crush or any other advertisement while reading the Bible.

The interface for iPhone 5 is also messed up because the book and chapter line is in the middle of the text and covers the beginnings of every page!!!

Please fix it. The search button not working on iOS 8.

Some of you begging for orthodoxy, catholic, this or that, please no tradition but Bible and Bible only. He gave you Bible and you get nothing else. Ofcourse the developer needs to fix some missing verses.
