well it looks like you want to buy InstantSketchPro I'm telling you it's a wast of money my partner in tech class and I had a protect to do which was writing a children's book, it was a deserter! We did not have one picture! I would Not recommend this:-).
Since the may2011 upgrade the sketch effect is a very poor quality or one that looks like a black n white photo, why fix something that wasn't broke?
It's a simple app. Fast. Effects look good. Has a few easy to use options to help tweak the effect. Doesn't support full res like the description implies, but still saves at a very usable 3.1MP on an iPhone 5. Not bad.... I was pleasantly surprised.

Compared with the well known edge detection algorithms, this sketch Maker can give much clearer contour of wide variety of objects including the natural scenery and artistic works. Besides, in this new version, the sketchMaker has deep contrast , 3-tone sketch and noise reduction option, which makes the image not only have its different edge, but also reflect real bright scale of the objects in the original pictures, for example, the black hairs or clothes, etc. I think It will be also very interesting for amateur photographer. I like it very much.
Some other apps in this category have too many knobs to tune. For me I just want to get a quick sketch and upload it to Facebook as my profile, and InstantSketchPro does exactly that, nothing more, nothing less. You can play with other type of photos, too. Definitely worth the asked 99 cents.
