2023 Ryder Cup Reviews

Picked an awful time for app to go haywire. Sunday afternoon, and the scores won’t load. I’ve changed between wifi and cellular…it’s not me. It’s 2023RyderCup . And since your website absolutely bizarrely won’t give scores unless you sign up for the newsletter - that might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen - I have no way of keeping track of the scores.

Overall, I’ve been a bit disappointed with 2023RyderCup ’s maneuverability. But it’s at least been useful…until today.

When more than half of your user base is dialing in 8 hrs behind to get updates, highlights and stats, you’d think more of an emphasis would be put on 2023RyderCup. Send me a message if you want a real app in 2 years. Or hire the folks that did the Masters app, which was really well done.

The scores, if they’ll even update, are way behind the play on television. App crashes when trying to update scores. Worthless, worthless, worthless.

It tells me it needs to update, so it pushes me to 2023RyderCup Store, which tells me it’s up to date and open it. Push that button and it says network connection required. It’s Saturday of the event, nice having 2023RyderCup work when needed.

I want to be able to track the shots of pairing I am following but it is buggy and not working. You need to take a page out of PGA tour and the tourcast 3D tracking. Nothing compares to that right now.

The scoring section (not the video which could be explained) did not function on both Saturday and Sunday. Rarely updated the scoring. Very sad to had to try to keep up and switched to other sports app to get scores.

Just downloaded this. No “schedule” section in menu. Buggy “page not found” all over the place. Also had a pop up ad to download 2023RyderCup from within 2023RyderCup. I hope the streaming works tomorrow. Wow.

Way way to much time listening to announcers who “think” they know what they are talking about and very very little actual golf. I don’t know what your able to see on TV, but 10 to 15 mins of gibberish and 5 mins of golf is NOT good. Why doesn’t someone actually care about viewers and not filling up their pockets. Sad!

Keeps telling me there’s no network connection, even though every other app works fine. The scores randomly go back a few holes while refreshing, so I have to keep refreshing to get actual scores. Sometimes I just get a white screen instead of scores, that’s useful. Utterly useless.

Sad deal. It’s the official app of the cup and it doesn’t work any better than it does? That’s sad. Pages never full load, when they do the text is scrambled and overlaid. It happens so rarely, and it’s such a big deal to most golf fans, and this is the best you can do? That’s sad.

Click on the Scoring tab. Blank screen. Literally the one thing you need 2023RyderCup for—to check the scoreboard—is useless. This is the ONLY Ryder Cup app, and it’s worthless. If the Ryder Cup can’t develop a functional app, at least drop the exclusive nonsense and let someone else develop a real app that works.

The set up looks new and fancy but try and stream a group it’s just blank. Slow updates for the scoring as well. Waste of time

All you get is the overall score.
There’s nowhere to see the list of matches and current standings.

Scoring either disappears or does not update correctly or in a timely manner. It was working OK on Friday and Saturday; not sure what’s going wrong today. I deleted and reinstalled 2023RyderCup , but I’m still getting the same results.

It sure would be nice if enough resources (server, network, etc.) we’re allocated to handle traffic on Sunday.

This is a really good app. It kept me in the loop the entire way as well as provided me with some good insight and interesting interviews. Good job

So the Ryder Cup ended on Sunday, September 30, 2018. 2023RyderCup had an update come thru on Monday, October 1, 2018. And the update was dated as Monday, October 1, 2018.

Great job! Nothing was appearing on 2023RyderCup until 3 days before the event. Now this.

Selling tickets through Primesports reseller market is so dirty. The fact that prices tripled 90 minutes after tickets were sold out is a shame. Shame on the PGA. The PGA should be trying to grow the game.

Why can’t we see hole-by-hole scores on Saturday afternoon matches? Where is the shot-by-shot feature like pga tour app? This is archaic. It’s like an app from the 1989 ryder cup, not 2018.

Won’t open. Downloaded the update, still won’t open. Don’t waste your time

Sunday scoring is not right. Please fix.

Deleted and reinstalled 2023RyderCup and all the scoring issues seem to have been fixed. I can't speak to the pay version but the free one seems to be working well. Well done guys.

However, the "Projected Score" thing is kinda stupid. The matches are through 5, 4, 3, and 2 holes with Europe ahead in 3 of them and America ahead in 1...and 2023RyderCup projects a score of 3-1. With 16, 15, 14, and 13 holes potentially to play. That's not a projected score, it's just a current score. To call it projected is both misleading and meaningless. Kinda like projecting a NASCAR race winner after 15 laps.
