Wallpapers HD : Albums Reviews

WallpapersHD was a really amazing wallpaper app. The sets of wallpapers are all cohesive and beautiful and in high quality, the search tool was very useful, and the categories were very helpful when looking for a certain wallpaper. I have noticed in the past years, though, that a lot of functions have ceased to work--you can no longer access the "favorites," "downloads," or "recent," so when that happened, I could no longer find the wallpapers that I'd plan to use or look at again. Also recently, the entire "categories" section doesn't work anymore; it no longer shows the wallpapers for each section. And most glaringly, the search tool no longer works. I really liked the search tool and how it arranged everything, as well as the extra stuff like live wallpapers and tags when you search in Chinese.
It's really sad to see such an excellent wallpaper app deteriorate, and I really hope the problems are fixed because I haven't found any other wallpaper app like this one.

They have been my go to wallpaper app for years!!! I love it! It is easy to SEARCH and find what you want! I LOVE you can favorite wallpapers and they save in your account on WallpapersHD and EASY to save to phone too! Also the fact that they have better QUALITY and SELECTION of LIVE WALLPAPERS than any other app including apps specifically for Live Photo’s.. WallpapersHD beats the competition big time!! KEEP IT UP!! Love it!

Only issue is some of the writing is now in maybe Japanese on the searching but it doesn’t effect my usability of WallpapersHD at all... but it would be nice if you could choose a language.

Also the fact that I can’t specifically find or sort “LIVE” wallpapers only is annoying... please fix that!

WallpapersHD is incredible! I normally change my wallpaper every few days because I get tired of the old ones, and WallpapersHD makes it so much easier and efficient. The option to choose “themes”, which are related lock and homescreen wallpapers, is also a nice option. WallpapersHD also gives you previews of the wallpaper to see how it will fit your screen before you even download it. The download itself takes almost no time at all. Overall I definitely recommend WallpapersHD!!

I love the quality and variety of pictures, but for some reason they load very very slowly. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue. I am using very fast internet, and a new iPhone, so I don’t think it’s a problem on my end. WallpapersHD has been slow like this for a long time. I was hoping maybe this review would bring attention to the issue and get it fixed. Otherwise WallpapersHD is awesome. It is probably the best wallpaper app due to the high quality pictures and big variety of wallpapers to choose from.

If you can't find a home paper AND a lock screen BOTH that you really love in WallpapersHD, then you aren't gonna find 'em anywhere! There are SO many choices, I actually needed a break during my selection process (I just made note of what page I was leaving off on then continued from there when I came back); there are so many gorgeous pics to choose from! It's awesome cuz I ended up saving a bunch & now I switch them back & forth whenever the mood strikes. Love!

I am an app junkie, so I've put many to the test! This one not only has MANY great wallpapers, but it's very functional and easy to navigate. I LOVE the search! (yes it has one) I searched "disneyland" and it showed me the best most beautiful pictures I've seen to date! (yes I searched on other apps) The Index page is also VERY nice and lengthy. I appreciate the last one being a category of things listed by "color". So, to sum it up, there's really no need for having multiples. Enjoy!!

I have been using WallpapersHD for a few YEARS now and I just love it! I have tried many other wallpaper apps and none of them compare to this one. Love the selection and especially the anime! I would like to see some more variety in the quotes section but other than that I have nothing negative to say about WallpapersHD. Definitely worth downloading!!

I’ve been using WallpapersHD for literally years. From my old iPod touches to my iPhones. About 8 years worth of experience with WallpapersHD. This has been the single best wallpaper app I’ve ever had.

Or so it was.

It seems the developer has dropped it entirely. All of the functions no longer work and it’s become impossible to find anything without scrolling for what could be hours. It’s crazy because new wallpapers seems to be added every so often but WallpapersHD hasn’t been updated in nearly a year.

This, above all apps I’ve ever used is easily the only 5 star I would ever give out. But with categories not working and no search function, WallpapersHD is dead. I’ll give it 3 stars for the near decade of amazing wallpapers in consistently brought to me.

For me, this isn’t just the end of some app. It’s the end of an era.

There are a lot of ways to get wallpapers onto your iPhone. You are looking at one of the very best.

The only reason I didn't give WallpapersHD five stars is that there's actually SO much content that it takes some time to flip through to get to the stuff I like. But I'm aware not everyone shares my taste, and many people would be flipping past the stuff I D/L, and D/Ling the stuff I skip.

But with so much content, you're bound to find at least a few wallpapers you really enjoy. Happy digging!

Is anyone else noticing none of the photos will load? They’re just thumbnails for photo placeholders. It’s disappointing because this used to be the best app out there. But it’s slowly been declining over the past year or so. Less accurate hits when searching, more in whatever foreign language is in WallpapersHD , slower load-times .... and no: nothing loads. :( 2 stars because this may work for you. And it truly has been a great app. But it’s lost 3 of the 5 stars that it used to be.

I really love WallpapersHD because it’s not like the others. The others are very limited with the content, or wallpapers, they provide. I have been looking the the perfect wallpaper app for quite some time now, and I found the one!! This is a great app as it is free, you have a search engine which you can search ANYTHING!!

Browsing is painfully slow to the point of being unusable. The loading time seems to be fine if you browse photos by "category", but browsing from "search" will cause you to give up. Yes the layout is beautiful with one large photo surrounded by smaller ones, but eye candy becomes meaningless when WallpapersHD is so frustrating to use.

Otherwise this is one of the better wallpaper apps I've tried. The images are well organized with a great selection to boot. I hope to see a fix.

iPad Pro, iOS 10

I've had WallpapersHD for a few years now. One of my fave ways to relax is to search thru the pics and add the ones I like to my favorites list.

**HOWEVER**
As long as I've had WallpapersHD, its had a problem with crashing. It crashes over & over & over again, and it's highly irritating. With every update I hope the problem will get fixed, but it never does. If you don't mind being kicked out of WallpapersHD every couple minutes, it's great. It's really too bad because it has such fab wallpapers. :(

Seems like WallpapersHD gets slower after every update lately; the majority of images take forever to load and some never do. Haven't been able to get any images to load at all since the most recent update actually. Ads also have a nasty habit of reappearing after updates, even if you've previously paid to remove them. I love the wallpapers; it has the best selection and quality of any I've used, and I've tried a lot. However, that doesn't matter much when you can't even view the images 🙄

I love all the different wallpapers and the quality is flawless. I get bored of looking at the same thing on my phone and WallpapersHD keeps my phone picture changing all the time. Just upgraded to the Pro version and it's working great. Highly recommend.

Thank you for the update. I’ve had this wallpaper app for years and It was awesome and than for a good year it wasn’t compatible with the iPhone 11. Now it is again and even better! I’m so glad! 😃

Every time I "save" a picture, a message at the bottom of the screen comes up written in a language I can't read. It might actually be helpful in telling me how to get back to browsing since my screen is now frozen. All I can do is close WallpapersHD & go back in. WHAT A HASSLE!! I have an iPhone 6. A year ago I had an iPhone 4 with little to no space avl & never had this kind of problem on WallpapersHD. I'd reach out to the "support" but I can't read the language. So I'm probably just going to delete.

I love WallpapersHD. I have been using it for years. But I have come to notice that some of my saved wallpapers disappeared and are not saved anymore. Or that sometimes when I click to save a wallpaper a pop up shows up that I can't read and I can't get out of it. I end up closing WallpapersHD . I still love WallpapersHD though.

In the update why are some pictures bigger than the other ones they should all be the same size also why did u make it a scroll instead of being pages anyway the wallpapers are awzum and this is a good app

Love WallpapersHD! So much to choose from! This is the only app you'll need for wallpapers! I've had many wallpaper apps and this one has beat all of the ones I have had! It was annoying to keep getting the Rate Us pop up! Definitely would recommend WallpapersHD!

I was dead WRONG if I said there were a better wallpaper app! My number one annoyance with anything is having to wait! I have ZERO patience and can’t tolerate any lag in loading images, especially! WallpapersHD had me sitting and swiping for hours before I realized I hadn’t moved! Love, love! The only negative I have is WallpapersHD definitely caused me to suffer those horrible aches and pains of being stiff from sitting and swiping for hours 😂

This is a great app to use if you want to find high quality wallpapers! WallpapersHD has wallpapers for many different screen sizes. All the wallpapers are in high definition, unlike some you might find in other apps. There is a large variety of wallpapers for people who have different interests. Awesome app! It is my go to app for wallpapers! Thanks developers for making this amazing app for wallpapers :)
