I’ve been a customer of Izneo for years and must have purchased hundreds of books through their services. They have a great catalog available across a wide variety of genre.
Most unfortunately, the quality of their app and website has always been poor on iOS, yet manageable with a bit of patience. However, their latest update finally ended up breaking everything.
I use an iPad Pro and am running the latest version of iPadOS. I can no longer read most of the comics I’ve purchased on the app. A black screen with a loading spinner appears when starting a book or after a couple of pages, freezing the application, whether the book has been previously downloaded or not. Best case scenario, you’ll be able to read normally the first 10 pages until an obvious memory management issue causes the entire app to slow down, causing scrolling and changing pages to no longer work.
So ultimately you end up purchasing books that you cannot read. And these are only the major bugs, many common simple features like sorting your library are awfully buggy.
Attempting to use the website is also useless on iPad, give it a shot and judge for yourself before you purchase anything.
I’ve sent a number of emails to the customer support email address and haven’t heard back from them a single time.
This app should be banned from the app store until they hire a proper developer and QA team that can fix these issues. Selling goods that cannot be consumed is illegal...

Just subscribed again after a few months off and tried to read BDs in French but won’t show me anything I can read without purchasing the book. The whole reason I subscribed to Izneo Premium was to have access to a lot of catalogs, in French, without paying for each book. When I switched to English just to check, it worked fine. This is the glitch today. A couple months ago, it was something else. There’s always something wrong with this website or app. I NEVER works smoothly, like really NEVER!
We love the content, and for those of us that live outside of Europe, it’s our only way to have access to these types of books and catalogs. PLEASE, we beg you! Fix it, once and for all. In 2020, this level of glitches and problems to get something like this working properly is simply unacceptable.

The subscription page on both the iPhone app and the iPad app is broken. It shows a loading wheel and never actually loads. I would subscribe on a browser but I like being able to manage my subscriptions easily in the App Store. Plus, the fact that the subscription page is broken on iOS makes me worried about how well they handle subscriptions elsewhere. Seems they would make sure there’d be no issues with the main place people would give them money. They must be losing a lot because of this.
