I purchased this back when it had Pro features. When they came out with Pro, they downgraded what I had access to. Then, when I switched devices, it wouldn’t let me log in without crashing. I’ve reached out to MS but get no response.

I paid for a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP and they have refused to honor it. But have taken my money. Don’t do business with these people.

If you want the charts you have to pay.

As an analysis and research tool DailyStocks has lots of potential. Yes DailyStocks is missing features which can be found in free apps. That's not a deal breaker. Unfortunately DailyStocks does not save your place, or any of the data that you just downloaded. If you leave DailyStocks to find out why a stock is oversold, when you hop back in you have to start over again. Even within DailyStocks every view has to be refreshed - so it is a very network heavy app when it doesn't need to be. Simply letting you 'save' stocks to a list would be a big step forward as then you would be able to look at the stocks again.

Although the results are compelling the execution isn't there yet. 3 stars due to missing features found in free apps and overall app performance.

It works -- OK. I have to admit, for the price I was expecting it would DO A LOT MORE. It is lacking a ton of features, stuff that any free quote site on the Internet has, such as a draggable line on the chart to look closer at a moment in time, without needing to change the scale. Instead, it presents a static image... Or how about supporting Dow and Nasdaq stocks under the Stock Scans feature? S&P alone makes the feature basically worthless if you happen to follow any technology stocks.

I am hopeful that they intend to release new versions with much more functionality, because to be honest, this is worth five bucks to me in its current form.

Good technical analysis custom charts.

Now the bad part.

Crashes a lot.
It slows down as you add more stocks. 15 or more is a problem.
News at the top of the screen is not always available.
Only 1 watch list.
Stock order not sortable and is permanently ranked chronologically from the day you added.

I gave a 3 because i use it a lot, but its improvable. (arbitrage opportunity)

And i did not consider this for the rating I gave, but stock price push notification would be nice.

I actually paid for the iPod app stock alert just to have it but their chart does not have the same technical analysis.

And can you guys combine the market scan and this. I bought both, and frankly i am more satisfied with DailyStocks than the other. It would be nice to just merge both apps for 50 rather than have price discrimination to maximize your profits.

Oh and DailyStocks is more useful than market scan. The ratings for both are in my opinion: overrated.

Very good for charting and getting news for stocks. Would like to see a window for obtaining the financial information for stocks and the market as a whole.

No doubt one of the best financial apps on the market. And the 2.0 version is vastly improved and less force-close prone. However the most annoying missing feature is on the stock scans. It would be so nice if they would include the name of the security next to the symbol. I find it so annoying. I applaud anyone who knows the name of every symbol. I know to get the name I can tap on the ticker and it will open another window with the name displayed. But what a pain just to get the name. Come on missing step please fix this. Sometimes simplifying can go a tad to far. I would have given DailyStocks 5 of 5 otherwise

Beautiful design and powerful scans. The prime setups alone are worth it. Finally a tool that cuts the noise and shows what matters.

This is the best app for someone who wants understandable technical analysis. The amount of available tools and real time quotes allows the average guy to understand much more about spotting trends in stocks. As a bonus, the online training that Daily Stocks provides allows one to come up to speed very quickly. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a better understanding of the market with some great technical tools. Great job by Missing Step.

As a professional trader, I used to spend 2 hours per evening running scans to prepare for the next day. Not anymore! With Daily Stocks I am completely briefed in 10 minutes. More free time and not being chained to a desk is what it's all about for me. One of the first trades I made using DailyStocks caught a stock that moved over 70% in 8 trading days. I'm hooked and have been recommending DailyStocks to all in my trader meetings. I plan on getting all the apps from MissingStep. Thank you!

I'm a professional money manager and let me tell you, DailyStocks will pay for itself in virtually no time at all. I have managed to isolate several profitable ideas since I got it a little over a year ago, and now with the latest update it has become one of my most valuable research tools. I highly recommend getting it if you are a serious investor or new to the discipline. The scans and real time charting are outstanding!!

DailyStocks is one of my favorite apps on the iTunes store. Daily Stocks and Market Scan are the only apps that really tap into technical analysis. The only thing that was missing in DailyStocks was stock fundamentals. Now, with this new update you get financial highlights and news for all stocks (including the ones in foreign markets).

Here is a summary of what it offers for the people who are thinking of buying DailyStocks.

- List of roughly 60 technical scans including crossovers, reversal patterns, gaps, etc..
- Amazing analysis of moving average spreads, and list of short and long term oversold and overbought S&P 500 stocks.
- Japanese Candlestick scans and the important factors for each pattern
- Charts with technical indicators and overlays with chart defaults.
- News and financial info for each stock
- Stock performance vs. S&P 500
- Watchlist

DailyStocks deserves 5 stars and worth every penny.

In summary, a great app, highly recommended irrespective of your trading/investing style.

What I liked:
- firstly, the UI. Clean, intuitive and easy to navigate
- range of charts from intraday (real time) to daily
- configurable studies
- pre scanned results; covering oscillator cross over, divergence, candle patterns and extended moves from the mean.
- market pulse gives you a general idea/sentiments.
- Best feature: integration with watchlist. It tells you which stock in your list is over bought/sold has high volume, crossed below a key MA etc. to help you make decisions faster.

Suggestions for improvement:
- having pre drawn support/resistance lines on daily charts would be awesome.
- ability to benchmark against S&P 500
- display what time each bar/candle represents on a chart

If you are looking to save time and trade more, DailyStocks is for you!

This new update is fantastic. The scanning function of DailyStocks is very powerful and easy to use. Those not familiar with scanning services and programs may not know how awkward and difficult the results can be to digest and apply. DailyStocks makes stock scanning easy to use and the results are shown in crystal clear charts. I've used many scan services over the years but this is by far my favorite, many thanks to the developers for their hard work on this new version.

Love the new features. Especially the TipRank feature to quickly check on the Hedge funds and Insiders buying or selling, etc.

This is my favorite stock app, and the one I open first every morning. DailyStocks has everything I need! It has live streaming of stock prices on my watchlist, which includes all the stocks I own and the ones I am watching. It has the latest news, with links to the articles so I am up-to-date on my stocks. It always includes the articles on the latest upgrades and downgrades, and all the relevant news. This is the best stock app available for daily watching of the action. I open it before the market opens, and often keep it open throughout the day. The charts, the info, it is the best!

Version 2 is redesigned with a much nicer interface. I use DailyStocks on my iPad daily. The items I like the most are the real time charts, watch list, and stock scans. I love that everything is integrated and well designed. I can go to my watch list, check the news for a stock, look at its real time chart, and then check my favorite stock scans quickly and efficiently. I have 4 apps from Missing Step and they do a fantastic job creating applications for active investors and traders who require helpful data to make trading and investing decisions. Keep it up Missing Step, in fact I will probably purchase my 5th app since I see there is a Daily ETFs to complement Daily Stocks.

Daily Stocks has become one of my primary stock apps. DailyStocks functions as advertised providing real-time stock data at no extra cost. The graphical user interface is beautifully designed and easy to use. Stock data is accurate and is display nicely. The many customizable technical indicators alone are worth the cost. I own just about all missSTEP app, and I recommend Daily Stocks and other missSTEP apps to both the novice and expert traders.
