Trust the other negative reviews on here about this company literally taking their money and providing ZERO service once they receive your money. I was approached by this company - (Leslie - the lying sales representative and owner) to advertise with them, and she made promises to do charity events and different exposure to promote my business. Literally “took my money and ran”; never was contacted again after they got their money for advertising. My listing did not show up on their site. Leslie and this company are white collar criminals. Do not support/use/contribute to such a despicable group of thieves. Worst experience. Any positive reviews on here are false and probably by friends and family. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUT MONEY FOR ADVERTISING. Liars!

As a business owner I signed up for the premium package to help generate business. Big promises were made and literally no one knew what was going on. Our listing was live but not available for people to see. Not one person has ever mentioned this thing existed current or new. An absolute money making scam. Now I have legal action threatened over 150 bucks. Based on the other reviews I think there needs to be some legal action going the other way...

We all make huge financial mistakes throughout our business and this was definitely one of them. They shouldn’t be aloud to have PridePlaces out there with all of their broken promises to get your money. Well you live and you learn.

Cute concept. After the concept, it travels into the abyss of the unknown. I need to change my home city but where???

So, what would be the most common use for PridePlaces? Finding locations to bars and clubs maybe? And would Southern California be considered a gay travel destination? Hmmm... that being said, I thought, "what better way to test PridePlaces than check locations of bars in Southern California (Los Angeles/Long Beach/Orange County) " in an area I'm familiar with. Turns out that most bars and clubs are not even listed and for the very few that are, EVERY LOCATION IS COMPLETELY INCORRECT, not by a few feet, but by MILES in some cases. Test it yourself in your own area.

Not only is PridePlaces a complete and utter failure, I might go so far as saying it's dangerous because it may lead unsuspecting gay travelers in an unfriendly, anti-gay city to locations that could put them in danger. This is an awful app that should be removed.

This company targets gay business owners to buy advertising and promises that in return they will promote the business on the website, app, social media and in the community. Here's what they do, they make you upload everything for your own page and app, they never do any community advertising like posters in gay bars, participating in pride events or even charity events. They say gays will use PridePlaces to find gay owned businesses, but since they don't advertise, no one knows about them! Worse app and company and money I've ever spent!!!

I agree with DJD562. Locations are way off. Addresses may be correct, but the pin points are not. I guess the creators of PridePlaces don't care or are taking their time to do an update. I did a search and not only are their bar locations missing in my city, but its showing locations on the map that are a few blocks or further from the posted address! So, i deleted PridePlaces because if my city is wrong why would i use PridePlaces for another city. Good thing I didn't pay for PridePlaces .

It asks repeatedly to use the current location, both for PridePlaces itself and also to share with a website. It asks this from screen to screen without the user leaving PridePlaces . It is also extremely slow at searching and returns very odd results (I live in a very gay-friendly town but it picks only three non-gay-owned restaurants to patronize?). I look forward to updating this review as PridePlaces progresses.

Amazing app concept and would highly recommend having and checking up on once and a while. I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that it doesn’t really like to work all the time. PridePlaces feels like it’s getting there but there are still lots of kinks. I wana see it grow into a highly popular app but it needs some growing first.

A great resource for those LGBT in Philly as well as the whole country!! I travel a lot, so I LOVE THE NEW redesign. I don't have to do much work to find local business who apprecaite my business as well as I LOVE the profile feature as well as the sleak new re-design.

It about time someone came out with an app for us by us that actually works. Now as I travel the country I can find both gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses that support my community and who I can support in return. Thx Carma Productions and thx GAYBORHOOD, you get 5STARS for me!!!

This is PridePlaces I use when I'm home in Atlanta or on the road! My husband and I love to support businesses that support us! We use it for everything from an attorney for immigration, restaurants, car repairs, florists, you name it! I'm glad there is finally a business app for the Gay community!!

It’s designed to help you find LGBT places in major US cities, and if you are in a smaller town or city, there is the option to refer known-LGBT welcoming businesses to the company, which is great. New places get added every single day The newer version of PridePlaces looks so sleek and is great for finding gay events!

The first version sucked-no pun intended. But each upgrade has helped until PridePlaces is actually fun and useful. Good for traveling and interesting for checking out new places in my home town. Recommended for anyone who believes in keeping their cash in the GLBT community......which I do.

This is a new application that will servie people well! Do they have some updates still to do to improve it, yes...but as any new application does. They are building their database of gay friendly businesses from what I can see on a daily basis. This is a much needed resource for people to have as they travel the country! Thanks Gayborhood!!!!

I use PridePlaces all the time to make sure that when I spend money I am using a business that is gay friendly. Always check here first.

I honestly wish that I could use and enjoy PridePlaces and I fully support everything it stands for. Sadly I happen to live in a very conservative town where nothing showed up. It works great though!
