Contact Speed Test SpeedSmart Internet Support

I have another program called speed test which I measure this against. Both programs almost have the exact same numbers for download speed, but my current plan for my Internet provider limits my upload speed to one meg. Speed test consistently measures my upload speed at one meg, but this one has it in the 6-8 Mbps range. I think somehow it starts off with massively inflated numbers like 40 to 50 megs a second and then works its way down but the test ends before It can get an accurate reflection of the speed. Maybe if the test ran for 15 more seconds or something like that you could get an accurate number I bet. I do not have a vested interest in either program, just saying what the numbers are compared to what my internet provider says they should be. Others features are nice though.

It’s able to show you the speed of a mobile hotspot but it doesn’t record it in the history if it’s your own hotspot. This makes it challenging if you’re wanting to check the latency of different locations if you are doing live shows on the road. I was able to connect to someone else’s hotspot and run a speed test, and it recorded it in the history, but, when I tried to use my own personal hotspot off of my iPhone, it does not record the history. Other than that, this is probably the best speed test app, offers and most useful information. I just wish that he would record my personal hotspot information with in the app.

Speed test does a more than respectable job in testing internet speeds on your devices. Was a little apprehensive at first being same company that provides internet service for my home is the same company who is responsible for speed test site. All that said the efficiency of speed test is as good or better than other services I have tried. Would definitely recommend them for your testing speeds, download and upload.
