It's crappy. The board is majorly zoomed into one corner all of the time and I can't un-zoom. So, I can only use and and see a tiny spot. Also, if I attempt to erase and then try to switch back to a marker, it won't let me and just keeps erasing. B.S.

i like to use my ipad to draw, and i wanted to do a drawpile with my friends, but drawpile is windows exclusive. so i found this as a mobile alternative to drawpile. gotta say, you do not deserve that title.

the drawing lags and is chunky, even when not fully zoomed in. the eraser is not customizable, so it often erases more than you want it to. for some reason, the eraser actually moves smoother than the pen. zooming in and out is stuttery, and when trying to zoom back out there is always a popup to buy the infinite board.

you have to pay for an undo button. i think that's the most inane part of this. seriously, who makes a drawing app and doesn't include an undo button? i can't imagine how you have convinced people to spend *money* on this. you have failed to sway me.

this reeks of cash grabbing in an underutilized area. i hope devs with better intentions find that there is a gap here, because this does not fill it.

I never review, but felt obligated b/c the free version of Groupboard is totally USELESS: no undo Fxtn, only one drawing, etc. have to upgrade at $20 / mth to have any real functionality. Don't waste your time!!!!!!

I am a long term paid subscriber of this app. I generally use it in the summers to have virtual office hours with my students while I travel. For many years it worked perfectly over 3g, 4g, or LTE connections on my iPad. The new version is very slow, where the writing is very blocky even under fast wifi connections.

I am especially annoyed as the this app app has now begun constantly nagging me and each of my student to upgrade to the paid version with the "infinite whiteboard". This was previously part off the professional subscription I pay for $99 per year.

If this app needs the revenue, raise the subscription price I pay, don't "nickel and dime" my students, and most importantly fix Groupboard , otherwise I will be looking for a new solution when my this app professional subscription runs out.

There is one good thing about Groupboard, you can delete it. I have a large number of complaints about Groupboard including you have to pay for simple features such as undo, it lags constantly, occasionally randomly stops working, it is generally hard to work with, it does not accurately sync across devices, and is unpleasant to look at.

Any attempt to move items on the whiteboard or zoom were met with a pop up box offering upgrade. No undo, only clear all. Terrible way to test drive he app. Poorly thought thru by the development team.

As a teacher who needs a solid solution, and prefers to bear the cost so her students don't have to, the bait and switch of Groupboard tells me all I care to know about the team behind Groupboard.

Disingenuous offer of a test drive means I won't trust paying you. Uninstall.

This is a really cool concept. That said, my board zooms out so far that my friends' stuff only shows in a tiny corner of the screen. After I zoom so I can actually see what's going on, if someone clears the board, my screen automatically zooms back out. It is frustrating and makes the concept void. :(

Ok, I got this to doodle with my friends and it works fine, but I could not find an eraser. And the undo button wasn’t available unless you bought something. The zoom was bad, and very blocky. I did not try the chat, but by the look of it it looked fine. I really wish that there were more tools, because who is going to use a highlighter when their doodling? I just think that it could be way better without buying things (or at least with an eraser).

I really like drawing in Groupboard it's nice and smooth.

I have high hopes again about learning to use this. Barely anything was working. I deleted Groupboard and reloaded again and it was doing what such an app should be doing. Now next to collaboration and see if that works out

Groupboard allows you to use your iPad as a drawing tablet, and see the results on any platform, since the medium for sharing is the web. There might be other apps out there that do this, though I am not aware of one. I know there are apps that allow you to share whiteboards with other iPad users, and web-based whiteboard collaboration apps, but this one is unique in that the iPad side of it is an iPad app. And it seems to work pretty well. A few problems: The control buttons are at the bottom of the screen, where it is easy to accidentally select them via your palm as you are drawing on the tablet using a stylus. Also the color controls seem fluky when switching colors, and Groupboard crashed at one point every time I tried to change the line/font size, though it isn't doing this now. More whiteboard options would be nice, like a Clear button -- there is a shake-to-clear option but no button to click to clear. The basic concept is Pretty Neat though, and Groupboard delivers there. Great price too.

It does everything it promises to do.

Now I can visit my board on the go. Easily switch between chat and drawing board. chat notifications while at the drawing board is a great feature.

Does what is says is does.

If you are looking for a way to acess gb on the go, you found it. Switching between boards would be nice. I already uploaded a list of things on the forum. Dave fixed crashing in the latest update.

Really helps when i'm helping my brother with math great app all around

All of the problems have been fixed. I can't think of anything that needs improvement. The support for Groupboard is great. There are many other drawing board apps, but this one allows you to draw with other users at the same time. There are hundreds of boards to choose from. Drawing is smooth and Groupboard loads pretty fast. You can even set up a board for free from Groupboard.

So far I have only used it with a single friend, will be trying it with a group soon.

Have been using it to plan layouts with a friend while on the phone, Can't believe how well it works, thanks to the developers.
