iCloud is not working in Mac. When I select iCloud support, it prompts me but after icloud continues greyed

I use MyTracks for sailing. For a year it has been great, but recently I went (on two separate days) with very little wind. Both times I was moving slowly through the water, but the app showed my speed as 0.00 knots. That is not a problem in itself, but as the app thought I was stationary it no longer plotted my track. Can this be fixed, or have I done something wrong?

How to fix myTracks app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the myTracks app on iPhone
Update myTracks app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall myTracks iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix myTracks on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve myTracks network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

myTracks Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix myTracks not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the myTracks App
1. On android, goto Settings » myTracks » click [Force Stop]

Update myTracks to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear myTracks App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » myTracks » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart myTracks.

Fix myTracks unable to contact server/ myTracks internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click myTracks » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto myTracks » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch myTracks
