A VERY Good App With LOTS of Potential

After using what seems like practically every task mgt app in Apple's store, I came across this little gem. It is simple (in a good way), sleek, and very user friendly. It uses both urgency and priority to organize tasks (like many apps), but what sets this one apart from the pack is just how clean and well-polished the user interface and organizational heuristics are. As it is now, it's like an entry-level roadster, but with plenty of promise for becoming a world-class speedster. The developer responds very quickly, thoroughly, and friendly to customer support e-mail, and he indicates that plenty of mods will be upcoming, such as multiple lists capabilities and recurring tasks support, all while maintaining the apps svelte "look." Some improvements that I personally wouldn't mind are a due time (in addition to due date) feature, task duration estimation, and calendar sync capabilities. But, even without those features, this sporty little number still scoots, passing by all those bog-you-down GTD apps. Experience the natural fit of ListLite for yourself. Highly recommend!

Great app!

I use this for my grocery list. I'm starting to realize that it is giving me a new perspective on how my family eats. I've got a long list of everything I've ever bought, and I can sort the list so that items I want to buy are at the top, and stuff we don't need right now is below. Each section is alphabetized. Good stuff. It's bringing order to my house in a way that a list on thd back of an envelope never could.

I have not tried any other list software, so I have no basis for comparison. Otoh , I have not needed to download anything else because ListLite rocks!

Awesome!!!

ListLite is awesome, seriously. ListLite is absolutely exactly what I wanted. it makes list, it makes them easy, it lets you control them easily, you can alphabetize them, you can sort them by priority, it's totally flexible, and most importantly - it's totally simple. it's dedicated only to just making lists. It has no stupid bells and whistles that clutter up ListLite like all the other list programs have. Bottom line, the is BY FAR the best list making app I've ever used, and I tried out about 10 other ones before I found this one.

Love it so far!

I just got ListLite and am already taking it on it's first field trip! Several things haven't been tried yet, like using Favorites. Utterly love the nested list capability! It's quite easy to use once you learn the 'middle button' at the bottom.

Please add a method of adding a quantity-to-buy for the items on a list. Yes, I could type the qty in as part of the item text, but an editable field would be much better. Some lists have no quantities ( like an errands list, stores-to-visit), but some do ( like a hardware or grocery store), so make the quantity field selectable ( a list could have this field, or not).

I almost can't believe it...

I am a little bit OCD and a whole lot ADD… What this means that over the past two years I have downloaded and tested almost every list making app in the store. Right now, I have over 30 on my iPad waiting to be examined or tossed.

Today it was ListLite's turn.

And what I almost can't believe is that I can find almost nothing at all unsatisfactory about ListLite. Actually, that's not fair: there's nothing unsatisfactory. It's just that, of course, I would love to tweak it just a tiny bit here and there. But that's only because I'm greedy…

I won't list all the features, I'll only say what matters: this developer got it right in the details. It's the details that matter, that really make or break an app, and it's the details that almost everybody else gets wrong. I am extremely impressed.

Now, about my greed... I'll save that for another day.

Just About Great!

I've scoured ListLite Store for two years, and this has finally come along, and it's free? What a slick, convenient, easy, spontaneous, intuitive, attractive and comfortable app. The only thing I don't like is the yellow background on the icon, and I can live with that. I hope the author comes out with "List Pro!" so I can be supportive!

I'm revising my previous review to 5 stars. I'd like to see the developer continue to add enhancements to ListLite.

Simple app

that does the job without a lot of fuss. Other to-do apps try to do too much, which makes them complicated to use, or are so simple you might as well use Notes. I like that you can customize which priorities and due dates show up in the badge. One complaint: the badge number isn't updated unless you open ListLite . I would like the badge to pop up automatically to alert me when something is coming up due, even if ListLite hasn't been opened. Fix that and you get 5 stars.

Great app!

I make list after list and then I lose them. Now I can have them all in my pocket. Makes packing a breeze for any kind of get away. My favorite feature is the ability to move an item from one list to another. I realized that after I entered a number of items they were not in the right list but I didn't have to type them all over again just reassign the parent list for each item.

SOOO MUCH better than the iPad reminder check list!!

Only had a few hours & loving it already!!
I like how I can choose different icons from different types of lists. (ie: telephone receiver for calls to make!
It is very easy to edit.. and easy to delete checked items.
👍👍 for support on very speedy reply!!
If I ever need more than 5 lists, I'd be willing to upgrade to the paid version!!

Locked up while trying to create first list....

I installed ListLite and while in the process of creating my first list the entire app locked up just after I created the first list, but before I could add anything to it. Every time I went back to ListLite it was still locked on the same screen and nothing I did could make it respond.

I'd skip this one. Which is too bad, if it had worked I probably would have upgraded to the paid version. But it's hard to give anything other than the lowest rating possible to an app that permenantly locks up less than a minute after you start using it.

Great App

Very pleased with ListLite, especially since the free version works so well. Contrary to some reviews, you CAN create multiple lists with the free version. I currently have 5 separate lists. The problem is that the method for creating another list is not completely intuitive. I will probably buy the full app to be able to add more lists.

Great, would love if lists synced between devices

So far I find ListLite to be an easy way to keep a to do list. The nested lists are a fine way to keep track of all aspects of your life: work, leisure, remembering tasks, ideas etc. When I open ListLite on my iPad tho, I wish it would populate with tasks I built on ListLite from my iPhone, updates from my checked tasked etc. Make this an account based app like Instapaper and it's 5 stars.

Check List :)

It was exactly what I was looking for: A task list where you can organize by categories and have several tasks under each category. The nice part is you don't need to create for a specific date (example: shopping list). For free it's perfect. I hope to purchase the paid version one day, when it has a more elaborate interface.

Almost There

The only improvements I'd like, so far, is for an item to automatically move to the bottom of the list when I check it completed and to be able to reorder items without having to click Edit. I'd like to simply click and hold an item and then drag it where I want in the list. Debating whether to get the full version; definitely would with these improvements.

One for the road

Designed the way I think List; simple, quick category naming & ease of adding
items w/o getting lost in menu jungles. Simple is soooo much more efficient.
If I gotta spend twice as long as it takes me to buy items for the shop trying to
create the list in the first place, like on other apps - its curtains! ListLite is great.

Me

If you are looking for a simple task organizer this is it. Used a few different apps over the past few months, When I started to use this one I got hooked. Deleted my purchased app. Simple and straight to the point. Simple to add, simple to edit, checkmark complete and done. Nothing I dnt like about it!!

Perfect!!!

Quick to open, quick to add, quick to sort, button to delete checked items, can make small font to show a lot on the screen...and none of the garbage I hate like fluffy pictures, ads, too much information, etc...

Perfect!

Better than other To-do-list apps I have tried.

Other apps tent to be very cluttered with items that aren't needed. This one is clear, simple and easy to navigate for the most part. Certainly would like an easier way to move items around in a checklist via holding down, then drag & drop. I do like the yellow icon with the black checkmark as it is, so keeping it would be nice.

Easy yet savvy

This tool is easy to use. Just watch the tutorials and you're on your way. This tool is exactly what I was looking for. You can customize it to subsections or just keep adding lists. There are dozens of icons to choose from. Try the lite first to test it if you are skeptic. All in all great app.
